I am not able to find merge shap in microsoft power point 2007 ,will I not be able to do this animation without this feature.

Unfortunately you will probably just have to draw a freeform shape, since Merge is a newer feature in PowerPoint. Alternatively, you could edit the shape outside of PowerPoint.
