    If you apply the effects before you duplicate the photo, the effects will apply to all of the photos and you don’t have to do them one at a time. (Delay, etc.)

    Dude, I’ve always loved doing these in PowerPoint! My teachers and classmates would always cheer whenever it’s my turn to present, lol. Animating in Photoshop is the best!
    Who needs Photoshop when you have PowerPoint, amarite?

      I agree I have been creating gif's in Photoshop 7's Image Ready for years. For the really detailed stuff that is needed. For everything else hello PowerPoint. Extremely underated. I learned about this neat little trick while studying tween animation in college yearrrrs ago...thought it was a forgotten trade. Nice concept and video. Keep art alive.

    Thanks for the awesome technique! Although personally I would use After Effects or Photoshop to make the same animation and then import back to PowerPoint

    Hey there! Amazing technique and good skills. I had a suggestion, instead of duplicating the picture for 10 to 20 time you could have just extended the animation time and made it loop. Thanks

    That is amazing. I would want to animate a knitting graph pattern so each row I complete (click) changes color so I know where I am in the pattern and can use a digital picture of the graph and use my tablet to knit that pattern from. Can this be done with Power Point ?? You are so amazing. Thank you.

    Couldn’t you just do one animation and loop it? Wouldn’t that save on file size?

      That's what I was thinking but you might notice once the animation stops and starts again. Will test out myself later

      To infinitely loop, it'll be better if you use .gif images. However, that is beyond our ppt subject here and requires a different set of skills to handle.

      @@haveiszalfaroqie1628 No actually it is not. I have been creating gif's for yearssss. The concept is dead on for a .gif the loops would be almost seamless. The only difference between this and a .gif is which format the file is saved as. With the right conversion software any .mp4 file can be converted with a click of a button....Online and free. About two weeks I created a teaser .gif for a PowerPoint presentation using the play sideslow function, I recorded my screen, then used the cropped video mp4 file and a free online converter from .mp4 to .gif done. If you are fortunate enough and can invest in a Samsung Note9 the work is done capture anything on screenselect for 15secs. and get a bueatifuly rendered .gif. I am not trying to be negative, however I am trying to inform people creating a .gif is not as far fetched and difficult of a process as your comment eluded to.
