As long as there's more Matthew Lillard as William Afton then that's an instant W in my book. It feels great to have Matthew Lillard in a villainous role besides him not having a whole lot of screen time still feels good to have Lillard return to doing a villian role
They gotta give him so much more screentime
“Yea it’s a 3 picture deal” -Matthew Lillard
@@grantslater861With Universal and Blumhouse
Wont William/ springtrap be in the 3rd movie?
@@youngkingdav Probably flashbacks etc, If it has the puppet im sure we will see his backstory with Henry and Charlie and how he got away with the things he did
I really hope the sequel will be a more thrilling story than the first. I personally enjoyed the fnaf movie but it wasn't too too crazy.
the sequel will probably not be an actual sequel. Fnaf 2 is a prequel, and it’s set during the time fazbears was still operating which would make for a much more thrilling horror movie with plenty of jump scares and shock factor. They’ve earned it since they have gotten the main lore of FNAF 1&3 out of the way
@@RuneAnimations22 thats only if they follow the games timeline. I do agree a prequel would be awesome, but theyre changing a lot of the story so if they have it set in the fnaf 2 location, it may just be a direct sequel (though I hope not that may feel too repetitive from the first one).
It’s the opening it’s not supposed to be hell the first saw isn’t the best now look at it
I don't care what the plot is in the movie All I want from the second movie is the withereds
I wonder if the fnaf movie lore will be the fnaf lore but more well written and fleshed out and not just made up like most of the games during it's cycle.
I believe the next sequel will show Vanessa having NIGHTMARE dreams during her coma, revealing her horrible childhood past dealing with the Nightmare animatronics from William Afton based on FNAF 4
Oh I like that idea! Seeing her in the hospital bed and hearing she's in a coma reminded me of FNAF 4 and the dream gameplay from that. Some maybe scenes with vanessa as a little kid being tormented by the nightmare animatronics and hiding in her room checking different parts of her room.
@@Alice-si8uz exactly 👍🏼
YEAH I RLLY HOPE THAT HAPPENS maybe that’s why it ended with her in a coma, I’m praying we get flashbacks while she’s in her coma and she’s reliving all her nightmares
They could also have Glitchtrap appear somehow and have her transform into Vanny, maybe have him tormenting her over all the lives she’s helped sacrifice for him over the years and driving her mad with guilt
If you don't mind me piggybacking on your idea. Why not mix it with both. Introduce Jeremy for the grand re-opening of the vintage pizzeria (like in the game) and while he's dealing with the Toy versions of Freddy and his friends. Vanessa is having her own mental battle against the Nightmare versions of the originals group. A common link is to see the withered versions of the original animatronics. Jeremy is dealing with them (possibly due to William's spiritual control returning, being dormant after a while after his death) while Vanessa encounters them and as things progress, they start to meld and transform into their sinister Nightmarish appearances. And seeing as Baby's in the first adaptation, that style could tie into the Toy versions and feed more into the lore prior to events beyond Mike's five nights.
So happy that the fnaf movie was a success even though people have mixed opinions on it

Honestly was not too bothered by the animatronics acting cutesy. To me, it just enhances the fact that, as dangerous as they were, they were still the spirits of kids whose lives and innocence were robbed from them by Afton. Kind of poignant (them doing so because of Afton's influence aside).
That's exactly how I felt about it. Yes they're angry and murderous but only towards adults. Even Phone Guy in FNAF 2 stated as much. They get along with kids just fine because *they are kids.* It makes sense for them to have this playful side to them. They kill the staff to try to protect the other kids that come into Freddy’s. They see them as dangerous, and they just don't know what to think about other adults. Remember back when you were a kid, surrounded by adults, forced to interact with them? Even all grown up *I hate interacting with adults.*
And it fit with the ending. I never played FNAF, so that is probably why I liked the animatronics were portrayed in a good light when Abby played with them.
And Bonnie falling over for no reason only enhanced the experience
If i was the soul of a brutaly murdered child i would lose any notion of innocence
Same
i think a prequel would work much better than a sequel as we could explore who Wiliam was so we can get a sense of how dangerous he is building him up to springtrap we could also see the origin of animatronics like golden freddy
It would also match the way the first games worked with FNAF 1 really just being a random attempt by Scott to make a game then building it up after that. This first movie is like the first game as it's also just trying to see if they can get it to work (cause it might have flopped or been outright hated)
And still get Vanessa. I liked her character.
Maybe do both a sequel AND a prequel. Like, half the movie taking place before and the other half after
I could see Garrett becoming the puppet. But as long as I see more Mathew Lillard as William Afton that would be a win for me. Another thing I want to see is more of the evil side of the animatronics. I hope that the next sequel could come next Halloween.
There is something really weird going on with Shadow Freddy as Dawko and his friends had him blurred out in their spoiler vlogs. So Scott and crew must have something planned with Shadow Freddy for the sequels. Which I’m all down for. I’d love to see Max again as she was stuffed into him after regular Freddy killed her.
Max is dead
@@temporix2 and she was stuffed inside Shadow Freddy.
No?? He'd still be blurred if it was for the sequels instead of the first one. The sequels haven't happened yet.
@@clurtzy I’m sorry, but I’m confused about what you are trying to say. Are you saying that I’m wrong about there being plans for Shadow Freddy for the sequels or are you saying Shadow Freddy never showed up in the Fnaf movie? He did show up btw, Max was stuffed into him, and he appeared in the unlisted video that Scotts Fnaf movie troll game gave the link to.
I’ll love to see her again too
*What I'd like to see in the sequel:*
-Vanessa waking up from her coma, and confessing her involvement in her father's crimes. Possibly getting arrested for aiding and abetting a known felon, but with a lighter sentence for cooperating with the authorities.
-A major investigation into the Freddy Fazbear location, and this nationwide manhunt for William Afton after being declared FBI's Most Wanted. They're unaware that he's dead.
-The parents of the dead children getting some sort of closure.
-The Marionette playing a significant role.
-A rich entrepreneur revives the Fazbear brand despite the controversial stain associated with Afton.
-Backstory into the murders and Mike's missing brother.
I think the movies should stick with the lore from the games and or comics for the most part. the children are not meant to ever be found, which is what makes it all the more horrifying knowing their souls are forever trapped in the suits, but seeing Marionette free them would be so awesome. Im hoping to see an appearance of Henry Emily and how his daughter became Marionette. Later revealing Henrys plot into destroying the pizzaria in the third movie. Also if Fnaf were to add more VHS style screen time, it would make it all the more haunting. I'd like the missing children incidents to stay a mystery tho, especially if they use the Living Tombstones fnaf 2 song at the end. But you must remember, the mystery of FNAF is why it is so beloved. Id love to see lore drops but i want them to be subtle.
Its crazy how the Fnaf movie in just under 3 DAYS made over 130 MILLION dollars with a budget of 20-25 million, it’s insane. I can’t wait to see what Emma tami cooks up with the Fnaf 2 sequel because I know we’ll be there opening weekend chris!
I really like the idea of Vanessa waking up with some information--perhaps some new understanding about Garret and the kids? I also love the idea of the audience getting to know the puppet in this one; there could be so much to explore and play with in the story and environment. It would be great if the audience could get as intrigued in the movie version of the broader story as we did with the games; even if its not to that extent, it would be a win. I wonder how they'll work the Music Box into it.
As someone who only knows what I learned in Matpat FNAF lore videos, I came out really happy with this film. The third act carried it, bout other all not to upset with this film.
pitch for the sequel idea's:
1. if fnaf 2 is gonna be a sequel, rather than a prequel, could be a good idea, the toy's animatronics be evil, while the old wither ones/O.G be the good guys, with Gareth being the puppet, blinded by something, while mike try to get a hold of him
2. on whoever reopens Freddy fazbear pizza, either should Henry Emily, Afton partner & Mary-marionette father/puppet in the games, or someone different(p.s: having mike, abby & Gareth family being the Emily's in the film, I'm mixed, but interested)
3. Have Markiplier be phone guy, why not, it's only fair
4. for the 3rd film, time skip to 2014, (in my opinion, if the film takes place in the 2000's, I believe it to be 2003, like referencing 1983, 1993, c'mon, now,) fnaf 3, but I'm second guessing that it should be a mix of fnaf 3 & pizza simulator, idk
5. Sister location being adapted is kinda out the question, since if they do that, Vanessa must know them, speaking of the Afton, would want her to be the only child of William, what about Evan, renamed Michael, Elizabeth, mhmm!!
6. adding to markiplier being the phone guy, in a fnaf movie, either fnaf next trilogy, have recreation of pizza simulator ending, but with every animatronic we meet so far, and have them burned, ending the film series once & for all, but hey, it's just a film theory
They needa make it rated R so they can add some real horror. Lots of the fan base is now older so I think we’re ready for some good fnaf horror.
Yeah, although i wouldn't hype about giving it an R rating or else it'll make the sequel way too overhype, in my opinion but hey I don't own the movies loll although still
Considering their level of community engagement so far, I'd be willing to bet money that they are taking an adaptive approach by keeping an eye on community theories and videos like these to keep things interesting - its at the heart of what the franchise has always been, and is probably why the director seems to be so interested in it, so its their best play.
The sequel should be a prequel like the games, focusing on Aftons backstory, his motives and explore his relationship with Henry Emily. Third film (should they make it) should be a sequel to the first film where we see Springtrap come back with Fazbear Frights like FNAF 3
They confirmed liliard has a contract for three films
I saw the movie last night with some friends, and as a big fan of the franchise who has read (pretty much) all the books and played some of the games, I couldn't stop smiling. In my opinion, it is my 3rd favorite movie of the entire year. Can't wait for the sequel!
I think it would be cool if William this time is a ghostly entity that only Vannessa could see.
He taunts her throughout the film and maybe even messes with the toy animatronic's criminal database, making them hostile to anyone. Could be a cool way to make him an antagonistic force the entire movie while saving him from being a springtrap for the third movie. Since he's a "ghost" now, he can wear all purple.
Thats just scream bruh
if they somehow actually make him purple guy i’d be ecstatic
Bro isn't Billy from Scream 1 💀 and his "ghost" is trapped in, ironically, springtrap.
Vanessa's story will probably be better explained. Maybe she finds the Vanny outfit after being discharged from the hospital and William gains back his control of her. This could lead to scenes where William and Vanessa (as Vanny) murder together and Mike has to try and save/free Vanessa from her father? Could be interesting.
They could also maybe try exploring the past (with actual flashback scenes played by Lillard) and Vanessa once again gets possessed playing VR games, lol.
I actually enjoyed it more than I thought going in with low expectations. The animatronics were amazing and it looked really good. My son has been playing the games 7+ years and he actually loved it so much. So it's a win from me! 👌🙌
Let's hope for the sequel, Scott Cawthon is involved since he always learns from his mistakes and could probably make some interesting stories to expand the FNAF cinematic universe
I'm pretty sure he said the 3 FNAF films would be his last projects so yeah I think it's safe to have high hopes
@@UnemployedStormtrooper Did he specifically say the THREE films? I am curious if he's going to just stick with films until that shenanigan's is over. I love Scott and all he is done, and stayed with him when he was maligned. He's an inspiring figure as an indy game dev myself.
@@KrimsonStorm yeah I'm positive he did. He wouldn't be able to sleep at night with steel wool and blumhouse being fully in charge
@@KrimsonStorm Honestly while i see why the community blew up the way it did about the info that came out I think people blew it out of proportion. It was like he was some huge villain or something, even though overall he had tried his best to use his resources to help people... I think it was a great example of how nuanced people can be, though he really probably should have considered that the info was a public record and could come back to haunt him.
I think Scott will always be involved to some extent, even if its just to brainstorm ideas, refine stories and guide how the franchise moves forward. It's his baby after all and it wouldn't exist without him. But at this point the projects involve skills he doesnt really have or has a work load that's not something he could manage. And I think that's awesome.
Knowing Scott, we may have more than just “3 FNAF films”. Remember, FNAF 4 was originally titled “The Final Chapter”, but we got Sister Location, FFPS, Ultimate Custom Night, Help Wanted, and Security Breach. We could get more than 3 movies (maybe 6 or 8) and maybe a TV/Peacock Original series similar to the Chucky series.
I just hope they flesh out William's back story
Also more horror aspects and I hate to say it but dome jump scares... isn't that what the game is known for?
I can see fnaf 2 being a sequel not a prequel cause in the lore the toy animatronics are more advanced like they can detect predators and all that
I believe that in this trilogy, there should not be a prequel. But a smart way to go about it is to have all 3 movies as a sequel then maybe a prequel that its own movie, not as a FNAF movie, maybe called something loke Afton just showing his backstory and the start if everything
I know there’s bad reviews but if it makes you and others feel better I watched a bunch of reactions to the movie with them knowing nothing about the games and ended up really liking it calling a really fun movie
I'm even theorizing too! Like why did William Afton kidnapped and killed Garrett in the first place? Will the Puppet, Balloon Boy, and the Toy animatronics be appearing in the next one? Will Markiplier finally be in a FNAF movie? Will they play It's Been So Long or Survive the Night for the end credits? Will Jeremy Fitzgerald and Fritz Smith be appearing too? Will they also show more about Fredbear's Family Diner?
Those are some of my theories
Survive the night was made by mandopony who is a pedophile so they ain't using his song anytime soon as they'd get nuked to hell and back if they did
Going to see the Fnaf movie was like going to see a big Marvel movie. My theatre was packed, there were people (including myself), who dressed up and cosplayed, we even cheered and clapped during the film. It was great and I can’t wait for more.
I am totally excited for a part 2! Watched today and had mixed thoughts on some aspects of the movie but now that I’ve been finished with it for a few hours, I’m starting to appreciate it even more and realized I quite enjoyed it for what it was. An entertaining movie for sure!
I just hope that this second movie improves on all the flaws that the first movie had. I also hope that they save Matthew Lillard as String trap for the 3rd movie but still use him to some capacity in the 2nd. This second movie should be set in the present and past, exploring more about the lore of FNAF past and incorporating Garrett as the Puppet.
It is not gonna be a prequel
If the second one is happening I want it to have Markpiler 😊
Definitely hope with the sequel they improve on the horror and in general be more consistent with the tone. And definitely improve on the story. Mike and Abby also being apart of the Emily family would be a really nice change from the games honestly. Also funny enough reminds me of the silver eyes book trilogy with the whole Emily family connection there
The toys in the second game are outright killers so I would hope they at least are portrayed as more dangerous. They aren't haunted so there's no reason to have cute scenes like in the first. I personally wouldn't mind some cuteness so as to say show why kids like them during the day (like the survive the night song shows) but at night they should be really dangerous.
I'm guessing we'll see a lot of flashbacks in the sequel to William Afton and the pizzeria when it was running. Maybe we could even get a prequel, too.
I genuinely feel like fredbear’s dinner might be in the second movie
I love Fnaf and I’m happy that they are making a sequel for this amazing fan base
To be honest, I hope in the second movie, I hope they reveal that Willam Afton is Mike's real dad and that he's the one that really killed Garrett
So that would make Mike and Vanessa siblings?
I'd really like them to explore the origins of Freddy fazbear's with Fredbear's Family Diner in a sequel
I dont think fredbears even exists in movie timeline
I think if they are gonna have a new owner running the place, that will be a great way to bring in Henry into the story if they decide to go that route.
What if in the sequel, Mike leads himself to believe that his brother's spirit is in the Puppet, but a twist occurs where it turns out to be Charlie Emily
It's out there, but these are my notes on what could happen in the sequel.
1. Mike has dreams about the first movie, but he is jumpscared by the puppet, who tells him, "Come find me."
2. Vanessa woke up and left.
3. For now unknown, a new owner reopens the pizzeria from the first movie, but with the toy animatronics.
4. After the location opens, Mike gets a job there to find the puppet (Garret).
5. For the first two nights, the robots attack Mike because of his criminal record, forcing him to play classic FNAF. On the third night, Garret intervenes and helps Mike.
6. William attacks and takes the puppet to a new room, trapping him there.
7. Due to William going out, the robots change and attack everyone. That night, Mike takes Abby with him.
8. They try to get out but are chased by William. They get out just in time.
9. They obtain the building plans to the pizzeria and discover a boiler room made to burn the animatronics if they get out of control.
10. They plan to lure every animatronic to that room and burn them.
11. On the last night, the plan works, but Mike looks through the window and sees the puppet.
12. William gets close to Mike, talks about a new reluctant follower that will go after them, and ends with "I always come back."
13. Mid-Credit Scene: Vanessa is revealed as the new owner of the pizzeria, and the follower William talked about + Vanny is hinted at.
14. Post-Credit Scene: After the fire is over, something wiggles around (tease for the blob).
Perfect!
Yes.
My idea for the 2nd movie is that it could be a prequel giving us more details on the missing childrens cases in the 80's and see what William did to the children as well as flesh out his reasons and motives that were slightly touched upon on the first movie. Also because the 2nd movie is a prequel and could be based on the 2nd game, it would be interesting to see if Blumhouse has the balls to show children die on screen to build up the threat of William. Would also like to see the history of the Pizzeria business and the Afton family, as well as the Emilys.
Also it would be funny if they made Toy Chica sexier in the live action movie.
YESSS!!!! I LOVE FNAF! THANK GOD WE HAVE 2 MORE FILMS COMING!
they better get some disney level movable animatronics and up the budget, i wanna see freddy running at full speed.
Not even Disney could make Freddy run full speed😭
That ain't happening man
I know the common thing to do in these situations is to continue a trilogy with sequels, but hear me out. After watching the Five Nights At Freddy's movie multiple times, I seriously haven't stopped because this movie's incredible, I truly believe this story can benefit more from a prequel. There are moments in the movie that hint to William Afton's connection as the owner of Freddy Fazbear's Pizza, but I know only the hardcore fans will notice. Also, despite this movie making Afton seem like he was killing kids for the sake of just killing kids, but Afton's story in all media are shown to be the common story element that monsters are not born, they're made. I truly believe they can make this right with a prequel if done the right way. Movies that make good examples of this are either Orphan 2 or Texas Chainsaw Massacre The Beginning. I also viewed Five Nights At Freddy's in the same vain as the first Saw movie, which didn't explain the origins of John Kramer or his apprentice (Amanda) until the sequels, but Five Nights At Freddy's connected story in the game world always worked because it spanned different eras in time, and I feel if they keep relying on flashbacks to tell those parts of the story, than it will come across as lazy writing, and I say this as a writer myself.
If they do a prequel as the second movie, I expect them to get into the backstory of William Afton, why William changed his identity, Henry Emily, Vanessa, and even the five children that William killed, which the first movie was hinting that Vanessa seemed to have witnessed the murders due to a scene where she is staring at the drawing of William and the kids, with the echoes of the kids screams in the background. The same thing also happened when Mike asked if William really messed her up. I would also like them to include Jeremy Fitzgerald in some way. At first I actually would've liked the thought of Jeremy being used as a scapegoat for William's murders due to him manipulating Jeremy behind the scenes, with the prequel ending with Jeremy getting arrested and blamed for the kidnappings of the kids. However, considering that Jeremy or an arrest wasn't mentioned, it probably wouldn't work, but I simply like the idea, so who knows. But at the end of the day, I truly believe that this trilogy will benefit from a prequel first, then a sequel to the first movie where the main character and Vanessa have to go against Springtrap.
Yeah but also the tape that was given to Mike had a scribbled out Fritz, So the beginning was probably him but it can always be retconned!
you're gonna freak out when you figure out what fnaf 2 (game) is
Man, Shaggy really let himself go down hard after Scooby's death.
In my opinion the next movie has to be a prequel, it would follow the order of the games as the first game was set in the early 90s (the movie was set in the early 2000s) and the second game was set in the mid-late 80s. Also in knowing that Lillard has signed a 3 movie deal it would be nice to get a movie with him as the antagonist without being springlocked. Making it a prequel could give a reason as to why Vanessa behaves as she does as she clearly helps William with keeping the animatronics in line and I'm assuming cleaning up after they kill; I'm not 100% sure on the links between Vanny from the games and Vanessa from the movie, the only character similarity that I can see is 'reluctant follower' which could move Vanessa to become more like her father. Although I still feel that the second movie should be a prequel to follow the games and give a more in-depth backstory, then a potential third movie can bring back a more decayed Springtrap and maybe Vanny as the villans.
This Movie Was Freaking Awesome, Grew up with FNAF since the Beginning And seeing This Game and And Animatronics and characters Come to Life was really Nice 😁
Also Sad Spook ya mamma Season is coming to an end 😭 gonna miss The Setup Chris, You Did Amazing 🔥🎃
I saw the movie yesterday and I absolutely loved the movie I rate it a 9/10. I will definitely see the sequel.
Hey Chris in the beginning of the movie when William saw Mikes last name he was hesitant and surprised, and when he was beating Mike up he said “ I already killed one brother now I get to kill another” he was hinting to Garret’s death.
I think the second film will be like the second game. The movie will be a prequel and follow the story of William Afton and Vanessa Shelly. One thing I found weird was that they didn’t explain Golden Freddy’s physical form. The spirit just kind of just showed up in the form of Golden Freddy, so I think showing the origins of Golden Freddy via a prequel would be interesting. Also if the toys do show up, then I will lose my mind.
The Garret is alive theory is shut down by a line said by Matthew Lillard. When Lillard first appeared in the Spring Bonnie suit and after lunging and shoving Mike to the ground, he says "First I killed your brother, now I kill you," which means any theories of Garret being alive are shut down.
Really hoping 2 will be a prequel since fnaf 2 is a prequel, and itd be weird for afton to just show up in a fnaf 2 setting unless it was his backstory
I made a video about what I hope to be in the second movie and me and you pretty much had the same thoughts! Especially with the toy animatronics and the aggressiveness. I hope that the toy animatronics are actually scarier and stuff. I also hope we get to see how much of an annoying little brat Balloon Boy is. I think we’ll get to see a scene where he takes the batteries and runs with them. Also the old animatronics helping Abby or Mike in a way and get their souls released. But ya never know what Blumhouse will do.
Honestly, I wouldn't be surprised if Balloon Boy ended up being Garrett (only physical similarity though is the round face). It sort of felt like Balloon Boy was randomly popping up trying to get Mikes attention. Maybe he was trying to let him know he was there, almost like he was saying "Hey! I'm here!"
There is a segment in the film where you can see "It's me" written on the office's mirror. Maybe they would make that being Garret's doing?
As someone whose not familiar with the FNAF story or game I took my daughter to see it and I thought it was cool. Im a horror movie fan so I kept an open mind and I enjoyed it
the intro music is straight fire 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Above of all things. I really want more William Afton and Springtrap.
I like the idea that Mike's family has a connection to William because at the beginning of the film William like paused on Mike's last name and didn't say it
I'm hoping that the 2nd movie would be a prequel just like fnaf 2, it would be great to put the setting in the past before the events of the 1st movie and explain more about William Afton before he gets springlocked. I guess only this time our protagonist in the 2nd movie won't be Mike but some other guy, it would be cool to make him have a different story and actually have him be just a normal night guard who has nothing to do with the main story which involves William Afton's relationship with Henry Emily and why he kidnapped Garrett. So the movie would have 2 stories, one with the night guard spending five nights fending off the fnaf 2 animatronics who are more murderous and the other story being with William Afton.
I'm just hoping that this time, it's Rated R, since if it's a sequel I kind of want William A to survive the springlock in the 1st movie and in the 2nd movie he gets a different springlock which would be more graphic and be triggered by water or something cause after the 1st movie's springlock scene, he till looks too clean to become Springtrap in the 3rd movie
Otherwise, I'm just hoping for a 2nd movie1!!!!1!
A second movie is certain considering the money being made. The studio would be stupid to throw away this franchise...
I kinda do wanna know ore about fritz and why he became a guard in the prequel. I think it would be easier to have the game be more involved with gameplay since 2 just has stuff with lights, cameras and the mask instead of a door.
Oh another note wasn't the FNAF 2 nightguard transferred from the day shift? So he was already an employee... that could be interesting.
Thank god they’re making a part two definitely a need the first movie was definitely a taste of what’s to come
I think FNaF 2 will lean more into the sci-fi aspect with the Toy Animatronics explicitly being rogue AI hijacked by the ghost children, after Henry rebuilds the franchise (the chain restaurant, not the series) with a new location build directly on top of the old one now that William is (legally) out of the picture after his "disappearance". I think FNaF 2 will revolve around the ghost kids trying and failing to prevent Springtrap from escaping and getting a lot of people killed in the process.
Still so bummed that markiplier couldn’t cameo
Foxy attacking him would’ve actually been a reference to the fact that foxy was the first ever animatronic to jumpscare mark
I just want more of Mathew Lillard as William Afton.
This guy gets it😂
As a music guy and fnaf fan who loved this movie just because of the the credits music, I HOPE THEY PUT ITS BEEN SO LONG IN THE SEQUELS CREDITS
If there’s one thing I know, it’s that Scott Cawthon takes feedback really well. I think they’ll take the criticism and consider that for the next movie. I think for the sequel we’ll learn all about Afton and he will come back at least by the end of the movie
Nice!! Another shot for Markeplier.
I'm really hoping for a movie Vanny. I get the impression that there was more to Vanessa than just not being able to stand up to her father.
I am really hoping for this franchise. If a franchise deserves to be adapted to the big screen, it's Five Nights at Freddy's.
I see this film going the prequel route or having a sequel that shows flash backs to the past considering the puppet was teased at the end of the film.she’ll probably play major roll
one of my main gripes with this film was the fact that william afton is literally only there at the beginning and end.
He's the central antagonist, he should have had more presence. I get that they were subtly building him up with the yellow rabbit, but I feel like it would have been more impactful if "Steve" served as a substitute for phone guy, y'know?
The story that you proposed was reminding me of the Fnaf, three story where the city opens up Freddy Fazbears as a horror attraction, without realising what lay inside
My theory is that Mike, Abbys and Garrett's father is Henry Emily. It makes so much sense. When William was confronting mike when he read his last name he stopped and began to stutter. He KNEW Mikes Last Name is Schmidt and he must've known it from somewhere. also i do not think he would've just cruised around a forest and kidnap a kid. Something must've happened for him to kidnap Garrett specifically. That is why i think that Garrett must've been the first victim. William and Henry must've had some sort of beef and that lead up to Garrett's kidnapping and eventual murder. I think the 2nd film will explain how Garrett got killed, possessed the Puppet and gave life to the other animatronics. I also think that perhaps william had a son (Evan) which was controlling golden freddy. It may have been both the spirits of Cassidy (golden haired kid) having a physical form and Evan may have tuned in or not. Perhaps he didn't want anything to do with his Father that was murdering people. So to sum it all up. My theory is that Henry Emily is Mike, Abby's and Garret's Father. Garrett is the 1st victim and possesses the Puppet and that in Some way golden freddy is william son. (vannessa's blonde hair and the kids hair match).
Henry could be the one to reopen Freddys, but he knows about everything
I’m just really excited if we do see the toy animatronics and the puppet next movie to see them in action. Especially mangle and the puppet two animatronics with no way of ppl being inside them so I’m excited for that. Hopefully we see the withered versions of the og 4 too cause those designs especially withered Bonnie was great.
Hopefully this sequel is better than the first movie! 👍
The director says "anything could happen" the same thing that mike tells abby at the end of the movie
Make a thanks giving background when it's November
I cant wait for the sequel!
I think the movies are more based off the book lore
Mike's dad is Henry Schmidt. William paused when he said Mike's full name in the office scene when he gave him the job. I think they will go to the location in Nebraska, that has the toy animatronics from fnaf2. That's where Garrett is, most likely. And they'll haul everything from the old place to the new, and the kids will have completely lost their identity or something maybe with the withered animatronics. Vanessa comes back as the antagonist maybe? Dream theory plays a roll if shes in a coma and dreaming. William could influence her dreams
BTW, Garrett can not be alive because in the movie William Afton even said -“I killed your brother, now I kill you”
I really hope they will be revealing that mike is actually afton's son. I dont care if the 2nd movie flops, but i just want that Afton familly lore in there. I thought it was pretty weird they hadn't revealed it in the first movie, but i think it was to big of a twist to reveal in the first one.
I noticed that the film has a lot of similarities to The Silver Eyes, a FNAF novel. Charlie, the mc, her brother was taken by William, her father died and mom left, and the animatronics drag William away at the end. In the sequel, William creates animatronics that are sent to look for and kidnap Charlie, meanwhile she's obsessed with trying to look for her brother. I think they could go in a similar direction with the next movie, and make the robots the bad guys. The possessed ones even show up and help out in the book. But, maybe they won't get into a fist fight in the movie.
It's actually simple the song keeps the puppet asleep, William knew the puppet would recognize his brother so he had the song on constant loop keeping the puppet/Garrett from interfering however with the building destroyed the music could stop releasing him as well
I feel like Mike could be blame for aunt Jane’s death and Is in court for it in the next movie,
And whenever he gets to the pizzeria, the toys will use their criminal facial recognition (established in fnaf 2) and would see Mike as a criminal and that’s why they would attack Mike.
If Balloon Boy Appears in the Fnaf 2 movie I hope they give him the Ability to kill like he does in FNAF AR. So it can be a better combination with the horror.
I would love the second film to have flashbacks to how William Anton started and the start of the pizzarea and him killing kids. Also it would just be great to get more actual Mathew Lillard in person and not just under a suit
I want FNAF 2 to be FNAF 2. aka. a prequel that explains Afton's backstory in particular, because the first movie really didn't explain anything about him. I also want to see all of the FNAF 2 animatronics made as well as they were for the first movie. You just can't beat Jim Henson's Creature Shop! I think the movie had enough FNAF 2 hints in it for a prequel to be likely. Then they can wrap it up by doing Fazbear Frights in the third movie, so FNAF 3 would still be FNAF 3.
I guess Fnaf 3 will be sister location
Awesome video 3c films
I could see Mikes parents connected to Willam afton as early on Willam afton stopped saying mikes full name, it could be that or he realized he’s the brother of that kid he kidnapped
The sequel need to be a prequel and have the toy and withered animatronics because can be the chance where Blumhouse can actually make it scarier and more serious to fans and new ones
Im also interested to see the Jim Henson companies take on the withered animatronics from the second game
I'd like the sequel / prequel to be the story of why Afton became this crazy man he became, like his backstory, also following how he killed the 5 children.
I’m also predicting the “Come Find Me” is teasing the Marionette as a key player in the sequel. Either Henry and Charlie will be introduced as something accurate to game lore, OR Garrett is the Puppet waiting for his brother to come find him and the others through his dreams or something. Save Springtrap for a 3rd film too.
Exclusive: Winnie the Pooh: Blood & Honey director Rhys Frake-Waterfield wants new horror films based on Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and Teletubbies.
My pitch would be set three months after the first film and star Will Brisbin (The voice of Ryder in PAW Patrol: The Movie) and Finn Lee-Epp (The voice of Ryder in PAW Patrol: The Mighty Movie) as the new security guards, taking Mike Schmidt’s (Josh Hutcherson from The Hunger Games) place.
need to see more golden freddy saw him like 5 min of the movie
Best theory Ive seen so far is Mike is Michael Afton. His mother (would be Ballora) left William while pregnant with Mike/when he was very young. She met a new man (Perhaps Henry Emily or a stand in for him) who became Mike's 'father'. William wanted to get revenge for 'Ballora and Henry' taking his kid so he took theirs (Garret & Abby). That would explain why William seems to do a double-take when he meets Mike. Would also bring him back into the Afton family instead of being disconnected.
EDIT: I didnt make it to the end before typing this out lol
I hope that, the weird reaction William had when reading out Mike's name, either means that Mike IS an Afton, through some convoluted (but still more comprehensive than the games's lore) lore, or that he's Henry's kid, i like the fact the movie took the lore into a new direction, and that it's actually comprehensible unlike the games and books, but there are some things to iron-out.
Freddy ? Golden Freddy? I just saw a bunch of gentle animatronics.
The movie really misses the mark by addressing the story only for the hardcore fans... while the silent hill movie was enjoyable by anyone...
This is the most important problem to fix in the sequel
What I find confusing is when early in the movie when mike was looking for a job, william afton looked at mikes files and when he saw mikes surname, he immediatly said "we cant find a job for you" kinda like he was afraid, but then when mike was right about to leave he wanted mike to take the job at freddy fazbears.
What connection did they have that william knew about but mike didnt?
