My dad has shown me a ton of music in my life, from bluegrass to classic rock to soul and disco. I've shown him plenty of stuff too. I mostly gravitated to metal growing up but he cant deal with some of the harsh vocals even though he likes the musicality of alot of it lol. I dont think hes ever liked anything ive shown him as much as Billy Strings. So thanks for making some great tunes. made my dad real happy when i showed him this.

I try to describe Billy’s music to friends and the best I can do is Doc Watson meets Led Zeppelin.
I've never given much thought to Blue Grass, until now. Billy has made me a believer.
I was absolutely blown away when I first heard these guys. There is no better group of musicians on the freaking planet. I have even listened to Doc Watson and the other bluegrass greats and it is awesome to hear the original version of the songs that Billy has truly put his uniqueness into and made them his!!!! And what better way to pay tribute to the bluegrass legends❤

Damn, I am blown away by every musician on that stage. Just when I was so taken by the mando, the banjo player stole my attention, then came the fiddle. Of course Billy plays like a sumbitch - but that's a given. This is just a great band.
Don't forget that bass laying it all down!

Same, and in from Scotland lol. Got very similar tones and clear influence to Highlands music. Can see how migrations to America would merged into, eventually things like bluegrass.
