    can you explain the oled panel refresh and pixel refresh on the new alienware qd-oled monitors?

      Please check the following site;

    If pixel refresher helps to make burn-in not visible can it work forever or eventually the display will show signs of burn-in?

      There should be some limit, after all.
      But,as an Oled tv user (heavy user), I can't notice any sign of burn-in after 4 years so far.

    Will burn-in occur on all self emissive displays including microled?

    • @techtripkorea
      @techtripkorea  Год назад

      Yes! But in case of microled, the degradation occurs very slowly. Therefore it will not be noticeable to human eye.

    If pixel refresher can maintain uniformity by increasing voltage, does that mean the overall power consumption will go up? Won't the brightness of the oled tv still go down over time?

    • @techtripkorea
      @techtripkorea  Год назад

      Yes, it will go up.
      But the adjustment is applied for only a fraction of pixels, and the degree of the adjustment is tiny.

      @@techtripkorea Does that accelerate burn-in? The extra voltage pixels burn faster than non extra voltage ones?

    Ok, convinced burn-in risk can be quite low nowadays. Now give me a Full HD QD-OLED (I want 1:1 pixel mapping for Blu Rays), +/- 40 inch, not too big, matte and non-smart (basically a monitor). Any recommendations?
