I want this to be a good resource for new players so you know what the strongest cards are and some flexible staples to throw into most deck strategies! I primarily covered popular / strong archetypes and also general-use cards that I see whenever the region is being splashed into a deck! It’s best to focus on 1 or 2 decks at a time, so play whatever sounds fun with supporting cards and general-use cards as well!! Also the search bar at the top right is your best friend! You can use it to find cards with similar effects that belong to the same archetype and that helps a lot when building! As always Drop a Sub if you're New and a Like for the Algorithm! It not only helps me, but helps other players see this video! I appreciate you 🔥
Very convenient you released this video when you did. I stopped playing LoR for a little while (almost a year) due to some recent obsessions and I was considering getting back into the game. Thank you for this!
Exactly what I needed! I played a bit on launch and I'm back, so I'm actually a new player. I guess I will craft a Ms. Fortune/Swain deck because I have 2 copies of each already. Targon cards and champs are all pretty but I have nothing from that region. I'm slowly trying to level up the region.
Thank you. I play tcgs at high level but coming back to runterra since launch built a sion jinx deck wasgetting underwhelimg results. These guides have helped get back in the swing of things. Hopefully going to swing into ranked after creating 2 or 3 decent decks
Thank you for doing this ! Ive recently come back to the game after a loong time and havent yet found a good grasp of the strategies and cards that are good, 💙
Yes, focusing on 2 champs / 1 deck is the best way to start. I was hoping to highlight the champions with the most potential from each region to give a starting point
Really well thought out video, your notes on archetypes and current deck strategies was great and easy to follow. I will say though, I’m not sold on this kinda card acquisition for new players. Instead of crafting the basics from each region, I feel like it’s better to decide on a list, craft it in its entirety, and then build up resources to craft the next. Over time you’ll acquire the strongest cards from each region, and you don’t end up spending resources on cards you may not use for a while. Edit: I still think the video works as a great resource to understanding deck types and strong cards, but I don’t know how I feel about it as a “crafting guide”
Yea the point was to create a general interest for a specific archetype by saying a champ / combo is doing good atm, then go through and list all the cards that work for those archetypes. I'm doing it all at once, but someone interested in Jax/Ornn will hear over the course of the video "These cards are good for Jax Ornn" Another good example would be Cultists. I'm pretty sure I basically built a Cultist Deck by saying which cards are run in it. Overall I agree that focusing on one list in its entirety is the way to go about it, definitely don't just craft everything I say is good 😂You'd run out of resources in the first region. I'm NOT telling players to craft every card I listed, but more like pick and choose a few archetypes that sound fun and some general-use cards per region. And I think this formula works really well as a crafting guide. I don't feel like there's a better alternative way of portraying the same info in video format.
Thank you for this but I have a question. I came from hearthstone and in that game often the more powerful standard decks can be very powerful also in wilde (that's their eternal mode) because a good deck is just good everywhere, does the same thing happen in lor ?
In LoR, a lot of the powerful cards got rotated to Eternal so assuming everyone was playing only the best decks, Eternal would actually have a higher power level, but most people goof around in both formats so if it's strong in Standard it should be strong in Eternal too yea
Any insight of what to craft for a PvP standard deck before the next patch? I started playing last week and kinda lost. I thought of doing Spiders but seems Elise isn't in rotation?
Can u please release scouts' gameplay video I wanted to watch it on twitch but things are really messy there u play a veriaty of decks I wanted to watch only scouts (quinn ver) Also I really really love your content 👍👍♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️
Yea the only scouts gameplay I have is from the recent Standard Decks For Beginners video. If you stop by the stream and say "I'm from RUclips, can you play a scout game for me" I'll showcase it for you! I'm not sure if I'll be able to get around to it here on RUclips, but I'd love to play them for you

perfect for me, i've just begun my journey with LOR
Welcome to the game! Any champ looking interesting so far?

You got it! Hope you can find a deck / archetype to play with!

For sure! Happy to help smooth out the process of getting into the swing of it! Good luck!

Of course! Hopefully I was able to provide some quick context on a few archetypes so you have a general direction to work towards!

What should I try if I mained spiders but they got rotated? 😢
The deck from this video! It's very similar since it wants to swarm and play aggressive: ruclips.net/video/r6vqDt-5mvo/видео.html&t=
