Hello! It's been a long time since I covered the new player experience and a lot of things have been changed since then. With a lot of new players coming into the game, I wanted to update my new player's guide to understanding the basics of the game, how to navigate the menu, and important things like crafting cards along with some tips and tricks throughout! This should be a great video to send to friends to help them get into the game! Thank you so much for watching, as always Drop a Sub if you're new and a Like for the Algorithm! I appreciate you 🔥
Thanks for this. I've watched a couple vids, and have been playing for a week. I've got a couple random questions hoping you can help out with. How do you delete a deck? My only options are Favorite or Edit. One time I got a delete button, but I have no idea how it got there. What are the pros/cons to having a single region vs. double region deck? I'm not sure if this is normal, but it seems almost impossible to beat the 2-star PoC. The powers the opponent gets on the final matchup is overwhelming. Do you have any recommendations? For instance: every time a unit dies, foe draws 1 card and heals nexus by 1. And it's a deep deck.
Just wanted to say how helpful your videos have been. As a longtime Hearthstone player, I got frustrated at how expensive it was to be even remotely competitive. I took a long hiatus from the game and stuck to single player card games until hearing others have such a positive F2P experience with LoR. Your content has been extremely helpful in getting started, so thank you.
I'm right there with you. Also a HS refugee. Played from Beta -> Rumble. Having sets rotate out and money/time becoming dust also didn't feel good. Happy to have ya in LoR!
Similar experience. I was completely f2p with hearthstone and grinded for 3 years to get most of the card from the active expansions. Took a year and a half break for college and when I came back, all of my stuff was in wild. Fucking stupid.
Not a beginner, but remember how helpful your old vids has been for me when I started. I fell in love with spider deck and was surprise how far they carry me. I move on to different deck but Elise still my favorite champion. Keep up the good work
Wait did they just add the PvE PvP intro choice? I started out 2 weeks ago and was so confused by the forced PoC tutorial. Glad they listened to the feedback.
Started playing two weeks ago, I came from Elder Scrolls Legends but have many years experience of TCGs, all the way back to 1990. Your videos have really helped me so far, having lots of success with your deck builds. I'm currently on Silver IV and patiently waiting to get my Noxus Swain deck finished, which should be ready tomorrow. Massive thanks for everything that you do, the best LOR creator for me!
this game is fantastic. im coming into this as a long time hearthstone player and i really like the similarities but the differences especially in combat and turn phases is sooo refreshing
U know how helpful your guide is, i just play itu for about 2 weeks and im start playing pvp since day 4, and i never win XD, after watching ur guide i try to apply it and i start to win and understand, thank you so much
Ive watched a few of your vids and Im already at 3 Decks, 2 of which were from you! Thanks a bunch for teaching me this game pretty well via your vids :)
I built my second deck with spider Gwen, it's really fun to start putting out spicy damage on your little spoders and surprising the opponent. A bit dull though after some time so really glad to have a second deck.
Ok best feature, is the ability to import a deck directly from the leaderboard. So you see a meta doing well, you can take advantage of that as well. Instead of having to search the whole of the interwebs :) And thanks for the tour, it really helped!
5 days after I started. Thanks for the in depth guide! Your channel has been a massive help. I started with spider and scouts from your beginner deck vid and am now working towards TF Annie. Looking forward to your future content👍
I started with spiders too. It definitely does the job but boy am I happy to have built a second deck, even if it's so much more complex and I suck at it haha. Yeah, prepare yourself for a jump in giga-brain turns when you put spiders down!
Thank you for this guide. Since I'm a Game Pass subscriber I got the Foundations Set for free. Since I'm a Hearthstone player I decided to try this game out and see since some of the mechanics are similar. Thank you.
cool video - just two weeks into the game now.... most parts i figured out already, but some other things are good to know - for sure started with Spider-Deck, so brought Noxus, Shadow isles and Freljord to 12... then figuring out the 200 years of powercreeping now going an to Shurima.... main focus now is artificial deck - not building but altering... started out with Braum-Soraka-Starter deck.... ok, very not meta, very oldschool... in current days no wincondition at all... i see... i mean, yeah - i see only decklists with landmarks... but i really wont use my shards for them... i mean - wincondition, slowly and steadily getting board dominance and let the enemy run out of resources whereas Soraka gives you carddraw and so you win at resources at some, i think much too slow for the current meta, but hey, it is what it is... point beyond level 10.... in my experience till now... against KI, against people or modern cards you are predetermied to loose i think... still wanted to try to upgrade this deck... without spending shards or anything.... just with things i got... am working on two versions of it - Soraka-Braum-Anivia-Trundle "freeze" version and Soraka-Braum-Leona "Solari" version of it.... (yeah i wanna always 6 champs in there...) don't think it made the deck much better, i think the original works pretty fine - but also am sure i didn't destroy the deck completely.... problem 1 - i don't think that the 32 minions to 8 spells distribution is good... still tried to allmost stick to it... just changed 1 or 2 minions against spells problem 2 - manacurve i thought was too slow... so i did a little speed-up here.... mainly towards level 2 minions so just looked to replace single minions against other of the about same manacost (or champions) but better or cutting better to my taken theme... and mainly faster question now - are my upgrades really upgrades... (i don't mean good decks - i just mean upgrades) to the pre-set deck? decklist freljord-meme: CIAQEAIBBMLAGAIDAEBAGAIBBEGS2BADBEYDOR24A4AQICIJAECQCDABAYASKAQDAEDBSAYEAEFAYDQFAEARKGBAFEZAKAYJDUZVKXTC decklist solari-meme: CIBQCAIBCYAQGCI4AEDASLAEAEBQCAQBAQEQ2AYBAEEQ2LIGAMESGNRXI5MFYBABAEARIAIDAEMQCBABBIDAGCJNGAZTYUTA solari feels quite stronger - but less like the original... i mean, solari - why generate stats when more modern cards just give it to you... and high-cost minions changed to leonas and high level spells to the 5 mana spells as game-changer or ender...., still want to chang trollchant for the solari-version for the theme... and pretty sure one would have to cut something for Bastion to make it halfway playable and freeze-theme: just went with the staple bower, other two cost units and "silence" to try out, went for some landmarks to test them, and "optimised" the high cost minions...
depending on a few factor, you can totally end up like me and using green shard only for epic, champion are easier to obtain(except by green shard), you have one wildcard garantee each weak and everytime you open up a champion, it's always a new one,(and if you have played during the beta you probably got many champion from the expedition) while with epic, once you start having a good amount of card, you often open up card you already have and they are automaticly converted to green shard, then you have a new idea for a deck using champion you almost have, let's say you miss 2 copy, so you use 2 wildcard, but you miss 6 epic, that happen a lot to me, so the epic wildcard stack is depleting very fast
I've been enjoying this game very much even though I don't know what the hell i'm doing or i'm supposed to do... I have several decks with a lot of cards to choose from. For new players who aren't familiar with card games it's so overwhelming.
Hi guys. I used to play LOR in its early days back in 2020 but quit a couple of months after the first expansion (bilgewater) was released. I used to play a teemo/zed deck back then and I remember Im having so much fun with it. I quit because I eventually couldn’t win games anymore (back then karma ezreal deck was very rampant) and it just wasnt fun for me. I was wondering how LOR is like now and would you recommend an old player to get back to the game? Will I have triuble learning all the basics again after being away for more than two years?
Thanks as a new player this is very helpful, wondering if there is still enough time for me to complete event pass (seems to last only a short time) and also is it worth to purchase starter deck which is heavily discounted to jumpstart with some good cards (it's called watery grave, not sure if cards included are good ), it seems to be a one time promotion and the deck is only $5 US.
I think even if you play a LOT it takes most of the event to complete the pass. The cutoff point is probably gone for this one unless you want the early premium rewards. Structure decks in general are not worth it, but the 5 dollar promotional one might be if you put some time into it and use it to grind for other decks. Depends on how much you value 5 bucks probably.
I really liked ur Annie/Jhin Deck that u showed us a few days ago. Is there any chance to copy it? Also i wanted to ask if the ranked leaderboard is different in every region, because i couldnt find you on the leaderboard. (EUW btw.)
To copy Jhin annie, the code and mobalytics link are in the description of that video. Mobalytics allows you to pull the code from that website in case you're on mobile and can't copy from RUclips. And yea the leaderboard is different in every region. I'm TEMPO13X on the NA ladder, should be around top 150 as of posting this comment.
I feel like a turd now. 😂 Wasted my green money to make spider deck . New to game. 2 weeks in. What other beginner decks are good besides the spider deck , that i see a lot in iron rank
Path of Champions is egregious. 100% RNG. 100% Grind. Lose a round due to RNG? Wah wah, start all the way from the beginning. What idiot thought that was a good design?

What other singer player games you play before? Curious

Yes! I realized that during the recording of this video and was pleasantly surprised!

The decks I have are your Spider-Gwen, your Jhin-Annie, and a Kai'sa Eve Deck. Next weekly vault I wanna build a Bard Illaoi and a Bard Shen deck :P
I built my second deck with spider Gwen, it's really fun to start putting out spicy damage on your little spoders and surprising the opponent. A bit dull though after some time so really glad to have a second deck.

Very glad I saw this. Been looking at this game for a while and finally downloaded and started it this week
I’m new to this game and this helped me a lot ! Thank u so much
Just started playing the other day, and this video showed me a lot of useful information, thanks!

This has been awesome for me as a hearthstone vet, thanks
Thank you for explaining! Such a cool game and can’t wait to get better thanks to your help ❤️

Great vid mate! What about making one for "intermediate" players on trading, committing the board, refilling spell mana etc. Would be so nice!

A lot of returning players have been coming by and saying that they are getting back into the game and enjoy it, so I think you should!

Love the Pkm music
Just started like 4 days ago or something. Thx
Thanks

as a not beginner, still thanks
How often do the event passes come out? I don't see it on my phone. Is it monthly like a battle pass?
Usually at the start of an expansion
For the regions, i noticed that if i change to Shimura, we do not get Kaisa? So new champions are not farmable?
What is the total mb of the game i Dont mean bro what have in play Store
3-4gb ma friend hihi
Only masters? /jk congrats mate, that takes skill and Ty for the guide
I feel like a turd now. 😂 Wasted my green money to make spider deck . New to game. 2 weeks in. What other beginner decks are good besides the spider deck , that i see a lot in iron rank
Hi just like to know if its really F2P as I am planning on leaving hearthstone

@@TempoMaou yep started playing its amazing thanks for your video helped a lot to get cards i wanted
Heartstone 2.0?
is this on steam?
Hmm? This whole video was recorded off stream
This game is so confusing. How do I even get those damned red dots ofd my screen! What do the numbers mean.
Path of Champions is egregious. 100% RNG. 100% Grind. Lose a round due to RNG? Wah wah, start all the way from the beginning. What idiot thought that was a good design?
This is a shill video.. shilling the game no real tips..
