In my opinion, being or feeling superior as a man in his family or his relationship is required as the man's job is to lead. Being cocky and arrogant about it is the think he should avoid.
Leadership requires empathy. There is a difference between taking responsibility and superiority. I don’t disagree with you. But there are those who have come to 3rd world countries seeking supplicants. That’s the distinction I was examining.
It's best not to show any doubt or regret about what you've been up to because it will often be seen as a sign of vulnerability. Many others would like to have what you have.
I never lose sight of my good fortune. I am grateful for my life. These kinds of first person stories require authenticity, hence some vulnerability. I try to strike a balance. I very consciously chose to expose my self doubt in this video. And it indeed does attract creepy commenters. I deleted one already, something I like to avoid. But, in addition to seeking a modicum of humility in my presentation of self, I am also aware my place in life did not come from good luck alone. I've done well through persistence and self discipline too. But an old guy flexing in some grand display of success is boring. I'm trying to put it all out there, well, nearly all:)
Interesting video! I met my wife in Asia and love Asia. I saw many westerners with attitudes, but with the failures of western globalism becoming ever more apparent, I have new found respect for the people and their amazing cultures, the good and the bad. The disaster of globalist liberalism has made me come to respect my own culture, history and traditions that much more, despite attempts to erase these things here in the west.
The video was inspired, a little bit, by a Joseph Conrad novel. So I am reading another: "Heart of Darkness." That's the book that inspired the movie "Apocalypse Now." Now I want to be Kurtz and have a whole tribe of supplicants:)
That you're even mulling it over is a good thing.
A little self reflection ain’t bad😎
Your speech is amazing 👏 👌👍
Thank you.

Wow 74? You look great.
Thank you.
Another good video, Charlie. Yes, it was interesting! These types of videos are your bread and butter. Great content.
Thank you Tom, I am most comfortable doing simple walk and talk style videos. I appreciate your comments.

Looking good Charlie Hub.

Yea I don't know where you're going with it either. Next video?: "White privilege in Thailand... how to cope."

The girl on the left is cute. I should ask you, her dad, if I can date her 😂😂
Both girls on the left are 16, come back in two years. But she is a cutie 🥰
@@TWCH oops, gonna go leave now. Not for me.
Lol you Americans are such uptight puritans. In Europe (and most of the world) it's 15, which makes much more sense.
