- With as many as 130 million Chinese Christians and the continuing explosive growth of the underground church, there are now more Christians in China than members of the Chinese communist party.
The Chinese government's persecution of Christians has only led to even more church growth, causing the Communist Party to now target the Bible itself, with what it calls an "update" with "socialist values," and removing passages that don't reflect communist beliefs.
"The Chinese are no longer content with all of these attempts to try to forcibly get Christians to deny their faith," says Tina Ramirez, the founder of Hardwired Global. "And so now they've just taken it to a new level where they're trying to rewrite the scripture and what the Bible says, to confuse them and to prevent them from becoming Christians."

The eternal sin is rejecting the holy Trinity before your death. Anyone can get in to heaven if they repent. There is no sin in earth we can commit that God would turn away from us, least we deny him for eternity (not accept Christ)

In the 1970s, I attended an adult Sunday school class where the teacher, pretending to read the Bible, "read", "In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where you are, there I may be also" - the exact opposite of what Jesus said.
Have you studied your Bible enough to be able to identify which words the teacher changed in order to make the passage agree with his theology?

Some people consider everyone who has ever professed faith in Jesus to be a Christian until or unless that person denies the faith.
Some people consider everyone who follows specific ostensibly Christian traditions to be a Christian.
Some people consider everyone to be a Christian who agrees with a specific method of Bible interpretation (or/and specific interpretation of specific Bible passages).
With very few exceptions, I’m willing to refer to people as Christians who think of themselves as Christians. The only exception I can recall right now is someone who said he wasn’t a sinner.
At the same time, I have a tendency to question whether someone is a “real” Christian who is sufficiently satisfied with his current religious beliefs and practices that he seems unwilling to learn and grow in his Christian experience.
Understanding John 14:2 & 3 from the dispensationalist/futurist perspective to mean that Jesus will come to Earth to be with us where we are doesn’t (in my opinion) necessarily mean that person isn’t a Christian but, when I compare John 14:2 & 3 with Corinthians 15:1-4 and I Thessalonians 4:13-18 from the historicist/continuist perspective, it gives me the impression that both passages are describing the same event and that, therefore, the purpose of the return of Jesus is to resurrect the people who have died in faith, bestow immortality on them and the believers who have lived to see him return and then take both groups to the mansions he has gone to prepare. Is it appropriate to question whether someone is a Christian who considers my historicist interpretation to be heretical?
A similar question of interpretation exists with regard to I Timothy 3:12. Some people take that verse to mean that deacons (and elders and pastors) must be married men. Other people take that same verse to mean only that polygamists aren’t eligible for the office of deacon.
It seems to me that the biblical usage of the word, “church”, refers to all the Christians on Earth or to all the Christians in a given location (I don’t consider any organization to be “a church”, let alone “the church”) so I don’t mind one bit if people who subscribe to these differing interpretations create or maintain separate organizations on account of those differences. I just wish they would avoid using the word, “Church”, in the names of the organizations and avoid using the word, “church”, in reference to such organizations.

It isn't the Bible on the shelf, but the word of God working on our hearts that is what they will ask when we arrive at the judgement seat.

The more the church is persecuted, the more it will thrive. I'm a Bible-believing American and my wife is from PR China. I have been to PRC six times. The Chinese people and culture are great, and God is using His people there to accomplish great things.

This may be true, it keep in mind the Bible is still a book. It’s still written and revised by a human. This isn’t the first time this has happened. Maybe not to such extremes, but it’s happened. This verse refers to the Revelation Chapter only. When the King James version was created, there existed multiple copies of the New Testaments with different accounts. It was consolidate together and a more feasible one was created so that it can be standardized. That is why some accounts of the New Testaments differ from some as only the more proper accounts are used.

Why are Christians today so soft on matters like this and only brushing this off with a, "praying for the Christians in China." As if they are not getting fed up with constantly hearing of wicked acts like this being done in the world! So many unpersecuted Christians are so comfortable and don't understand how wicked the world has gotten. They won't understand how vital it is for us to ask for God's Judgment on evildoers, until the evildoers is at their door doing the same things to them 😡😡.
