    Thanks for putting this up. Some of the options have changed - Oct 2023. In Flows: My flows, New flow, Build you own, Build an automated cloud flow. I'm now trying to figure out how to get a document acknowledgment that the supervisor receives and has to click on some type of "I accept" button to ensure they read e-mail.

      Thanks for your feedback, and yes I think the Power Automate UI has now been updated sadly. It's also an interesting scenario, and maybe consider creating a Task in a Microsoft List which requires approval, if a particular e-mail has a subject line or received in a shared mailbox. That would then allow you to approve the List Item (Task) and have details on it, without doing it through Outlook specifically.

    Very helpful. If I have one Form, that when completed, I only want the feedback going to one individual, do I have to make a workflow for each individual? Or is there a way to choose the individual before the summary of the Form is sent?

      Thanks for your feedback 😎
      In a Power Automate Flow, you can actually add a condition (it's like an IF Statement), so you could have a condition where if specific field is completed with a value, like a Department as an example, then your condition can run a separate parallel workflow, meaning you could then have a separate e-mail being sent to a different person. You could still build this all in your single workflow of course too 😀
      Hope that helps

    Thank you Scott. Do you know how I can send an email to someone specific based on the answer to a question on the form? For example to Mary if the answer is "yes" and John if the answer is "no"?

    • @your365coach
      @your365coach  2 месяца назад

      Absolutely, but you would need a Power Automate Workflow to do that for you. You would use a Condition in the Workflow, to move it into different outcomes depending on whether someone answered a question with what you expected. We have done this before and it works very well 😀

    Nice video! Followed it step by step but I keep running into an Invalid connection error for Send an Email (V2).

    • @your365coach
      @your365coach  6 месяцев назад

      I'd probably recommend removing and re-adding the 'Send an Email' action, in the three dot menu for the action, ensure your connection is your account (i.e. Microsoft 365 Email). If you experience this error again, i'd recommend raising to your IT Support Team or Microsoft 365 Support Team, so they can take a closer look too.

    Is there a way to send the entire MS Forms response (a link or a PDF of the submission) in the email sent?

    • @your365coach
      @your365coach  4 месяца назад +1

      Sadly, it’s not a simple way to achieve it but you can build a Power Automate Workflow to build a HTML file with the information, convert to PDF and then send it out. There’s a few methods to listed here but they would need some development expertise:

    Hello! some of my dynamic fields are disappearing after i add them to the email template and hit save, and i cant seem to figure out why??

    • @your365coach
      @your365coach  5 месяцев назад

      That is quite odd, and I would recommend checking with Microsoft Support, as those Dynamic Fields should appear.

    How about for people in a MS Team group who haven’t filled out the form?

    • @your365coach
      @your365coach  3 месяца назад +1

      Sadly, that would be hard to achieve and would require a table like a Microsoft List to have a list of requests and then check against, and then send reminders later - possibly anyway 😁

    Can I do without using Power automate, only using MS Forms?

    • @your365coach
      @your365coach  4 месяца назад

      Without Power Automate, you can set Notifications to be sent to the Form Owner, but not multiple recipients sadly - unless Microsoft has changed it 😀

    • @davt8355
      @davt8355 4 месяца назад

      @@your365coach I figured it out, Microsoft changed it, You can now create a 365 group then add the person who created the form as the owner of the 365 group. Then right click on the form and add it to the 365 group, from this point form will be a "group form" then you can add members to the 365 group, and Whoever is added as a member of the 365 group will receive notifications once submission happens on the form.
