In this Power Automate Forms to Forms to Email videos I'll show you step by step how you can setup your Power Automate Flow to automatically send an Outlook Email notification when someone selects a SPECIFIC answer in Microsoft Forms.
It's super easy to setup the automation in Power Automate to get notified when someone submits answers in a Microsoft Form. You can also add a condition, so you get an email or mobile notification only when a specific answer is submitted.
This way you can choose when to get notified. You just need to add a control and a condition to your Power Automate Flow so when the user selects a specific answer the notification is sent. You can setup a mobile notification or an outlook email with the persons answers. It's very flexible and easy to combine these together.

I've been using power automate at my work and I LOVE it!
Very helpful and timely for our company. Thanks!
Leyla Gharani you are very professional lecturer. Great videos, and most importantly with min or no music background which is distracting always.
Many thanks to you.
Glad you like the content!
I have noticed the power automation but was hesitant to use it. The video has helped me to use the tool. Thanks a lot 😊
Leila, you are an absolute genius! Thank you so much for this!
I honestly cant believe you show folk how to do this for free, thank you!!!
Impressive...never knew power automate had so much functionality. It's something I would definitely explore.
You and me both!
Super basic Vietnamese language
Simple ,short and excellent explanation 😎
Good explanation,
I become understand about this.
Thank you.
Greetings from Jayapura Papua.
God Bless
This is really a great way, lots of possibility with power automate! Thanks for sharing 😊
Thanks for pointing me in the right direction 👍🏻
Thank you! This really did the trick for me on something I was struggling with.
Glad it helped!
A great demo Leila, thank you, though I was hoping to see the responses included in the email body, as I've been having some trouble inserting them as a table.
Awesome, I use Power Automate to send emails to my email subscribers. This is how I'll do it next. Thank you.
👍
Great video thank you!
Hi Leila. So many possibilities with Power Automate. Thanks for sharing your tips :)) Thumbs up!!
Great video!!! Thanks for sharing your knowledge!!!
Much needed at the right time
I didn't know about this, thanks Leila!
It looks so simple when is explained very well 🦉
👏👏👏
Wow.......... I didn't expect 0365 have this much options for forms.
The way presenting is so nice.
Very useful thank u.
Thanks for sharing! 👍
Great video thank you for creating/sharing this!
Updated: I missed a step when I created the form "Get email Notification of each response" was not checked.
Thanks for useful post waiting for your complete tutorial on power automate
Hi Leila, must say this tutorial was such a simplified demo. I already tried one automation successfully. One thing I wanted to know is if there's a way grant view only visibility to the response statistical visual of the forms page in the same automation.
Leila - you're a lifesaver, let me tell you that! Subbed!
We're currently using cognito forms. i think this is a good replacement. Thanks for the vid.
OHHHH!! Right On time this video, today I will need to send a Forms!!!
Thanks, something worth trying, be safe
Great content, helped me a lot.
Great video, as always! Did you know quizzes in MS Forms do not provide the global test score? For teachers that is disappointing.
The way I figured out using Power Automate was by adding all student's answers to Excel and compare with a table of correct answers. Since all student scores are in the same place, now it's very easy to share with students their incorrect answers along with links to study material related with each topic. But even more interesting, average scores can be sent to students automatically as well, after each test is submitted or periodically as in my case. The potential is gigantic.
A video from you oriented to teachers to automate quizzes would delight such audience.
You can download the full form results using a hidden api ruclips.net/video/eq6QRz29q9Q/видео.html and this includes the answers and a total. No need to trigger on each response or save to excel/list.
@DamoBird365, thank you for the API clue. I will take a look on that. To download the Excels is good at least for archiving purpose.
Yet, the key here is to trigger automations for every quiz answered among a set of tens of quizzes, like recommend new lectures for incorrect answers or deliver automated reports weekly with average scores by subject matter or global. That requires a single central Excel table or database. In this scenario there is no need to download the Excels.
Awesome as usual!!!
Wow. This is new to me
Thanks for sharing.
Great content!
Can the form be public? Any difference in capturing the responder email and start processing the flow?
you r my microsoft saviour
Just a suggestion. It would be informative if you made a video highlighting some of the flows and power apps you developed for your workflows.
Powerful!
Brilliant!
Great video thank you so much. Is there a way to trigger a form from particular cell or a row from Excel and response to that form should be saved in the same row/cell from wr it was triggered?
Great! Thank you.
Perfect!
Thanks for the video. I want to make email notification for my team, but can we change the email sender with responders email?
Leila,
Is there a way to share the flow with others on the same team?
I want to create an approval form+flow and let everyone on my team use it.
Awesome tutorial, it will be great if you can please make a video tutorial on how to create a project Dashboard in Office 365
Awesome, thanks.
thannks man!
Finished your Power Query classics on Udemy. That was bomb.
When are you releasing your classic on Power BI 😁? I have studied like two (Foundation and Advanced) by other tutors on Udemy, but I would buy yours because it's gonna be something different.
thank you! It Video help me a lot!
nice work!
Oh my, I just did this same video topic at work 😀
Incredible beautiful and incredible smart.
Hi - amazing content! I go to click my Conditioning and I am not seeing my Form questions listed.. I only get "response ID, Resource Data, or Body" to choose from. How do you get your questions to be available there?
Hi. Thanks for the video. What if the Form Id is not appear in the drop down selection?
Hello Leila, many thanks for your videos. Can we do a trigger if someone didn't answer my email within two days in power automate ?
Very useful video. As I see the email notification came on Outlook online. Is it possible to receive an email on Outlook desktop app? Thank you!
This is so amazing...
Glad you like it.

Hi Leila, can you embed these MS Forms within a web site rather than use say, a PHP form?
Hi,
great video.
Is it also possible to fill the form with multiple people based on certain entries within the form?
So as example the form should go through a whole department consisting of 6 groups and each group needs to fill in information in the form and then the form is send to the next group until all 6 groups have entered their information. It could also be that based on certain form entries that only lets say 4 out of the 6 groups need to enter information, so there should be also different branches to steer the form through the needed groups.
Thanks in advance!
Very nice
Thank you for making this tutorial though. I was looking for the google form exact the same linkage, is there any way to do that through add-ons? I will highly appreciate your respond to this.
Thank you
Leila, I have a challenge for you (I think). I'm not a savvy Excel user but I'm quick to learn. Point is, I don't possess the jargon to query my Excel problem in your channel to find out if you have already covered my problem, but I tried.
So, at the risk of redundancy - allow me to pose my Excel problem that you can refer me to a video link covering my query, otherwise, this may be a new one for you. Either way, I am confident in you.
I do valuations as part of my work involving long-hand calculations with +/- equations that I wish to bypass with single data entry on a preformatted template to extend values for a quicker work process.
The problem is ascribing percentage values for a set of value ranges. Example, basis: 1,000 to 2,000 = -/+20%. What is the cell formula for a value range of say 1,528 (1222 to 1,834)? While also affixing monetary values to certain Yes No values?
I hope this isn't asking too much... by the way, how can I know if are responding to me?
This is very helpful and might solve a problem for a project we are working on. With power automate, can I setup multiple email addresses to send notifications to specific group or individual emails? (based on the trigger choice). Also, with those flows, can I also send a bcc copy to my own group mailbox? Thank you!!!
hi did you ever sort this issue ??
@@markevans3026 Hello! Yes we did. Thanks for checking back. The site is an excellent resource.
Gr8... for you have any video regarding how to recall mail while using 0365
I like your videos
nice video again. :) Is there a way to add a condition to a text field that checks if the field is filled or not?
You could require the field to be filled.
Hi Leila, do you have tutorial on how to create an event in Office 365 Outlook when a Microsoft Forms is submitted. The responder will select their preferred session date and time and add the session details to their calendar. Thanks!
Great flow and yes I want to have a meeting with you. Condition, when I select "yes", you will receive an email notification of the restaurant I want to buy you dinner at.
😁
@LeilaGharani can you please do a video on how to insert signatures in emails in power automate? emails sent on recurring flows are not sent with professional signatures. i noticed there is no video on it in youtube perhaps you could do one on it. Thanks
Hi Leila, can we setup such flow for the form another person from my team owns to send them details from the form in an email directly?
Great info. Every time I open excel my 🧠 dies though 😅
Hi Thanks for the video, I am just learning to use Power Automate. I have one question - I have created 20 forms (they have questions about daily my checks), when I submit the form, I get an email with link inside to view result. However, I want this same email to go to people whose area I have checked/audit. Can you please help me set the flow? I don’t want only email notification but want the same email which have a link of the result or that particular response completed.
How to provide specific I'd or Name to the Ms form which is automatically Generated when you open the form.
More videos on Power Automate
Very well explained indeed! (but also a little scary!) How would be able to type out a new email, add a MS Forms multiple choice question, and then send out to the recipients? (without them being able to view the report of who responded etc? I'm an old guy learning new tricks !!
How do you do this if the form is created by a M365 group?
Can we consolidate all the forms data in to excel which can be created as report further?
💯
wow been seaching for clear video and this is it. However the form i have built requires the email to go to someone else not me. My form has a multi answer question regarding what site you work at with 3 different sites. Whichever site is selected a different person will get the email for a uniform request.
I have followed your steps and when you get to condition i have added another 2 steps and when i test all 3 run succsessfully.
My problem is each of the 3 answers needs to go to a different email address and non of them are mine.
Anybody out there point me in the right direction please...
Thanks for this guide , I have an issue, my form belong to a team, so when I try to get form ID , i am not able to find it. is there a workaround for this issue ?
Hi Eravisz, have you found a workaround for this yet?
This is Legendary!! Power Automate is actually quite helpful. Is it possible to send the email to the person who filled the form?
Yes. If it's a public form though, you'll need a field where they put in their email address and then you can use that for the sending of email.
@@LeilaGharani Thank You for replying. Will definitely recommend this to my teachers!! Already recommended your channel to my friends!
Is this only available through office 365 online?
But I can just turn on the notification in Forms and then also get an email when a response, is much easier?
Can you include all the answers in the form submission in the notification email you receive? I know that you can use Dynamic Content, but it won't title the content (only provides answers). Any suggesstions?
Hello - I'm having a hard time figuring out how to do this when you have more than two choices in the multiple response question. For example I have 6 choices. Each choice requires a different colleague to receive the notification. Is there a way to do that?
Would you please show how to generate form responses to PDF with attachments and post that PDF on sharepoint/Microsoft list please?
My form also have many branches, so the ideal PDF result only shows the answered questions. Thank you sooooo much!!!
is it possible to send a team message via Power Automate? if yes, can you make a tutorial on that?
How do you handle this if you have more than 2 options? I have 4 options and want to do the same for this.
Hi Leila, have you ever had instance where the Form ID just doesn't show? Not in the url, and not in the Power Automate drop down?
I have the same issue
I've been trying to figure out the best way to save forms responses to a PDF automatically every time a response is submitted or extract the answers to a readable format. At the moment I'm downloading the excel responses and using lookups to create a readable excel sheet that can be PDF'd. I have attempted to use PA but struggled massively.
Hi Connor, you could check out this video 👀ruclips.net/video/KVIWDRjPKUk/видео.html
Hello. For me, the 2nd step (get response details) always automatically change into 'for each loop' when I selected 'Response Id'.. Is there a workaround for this issue?
How do you send an email to a variety of people?
Like you said, maybe a customer gave a bad score, so the sales team needs to know. Is there a way to use a MS list as a reference point for people who should be notified?
I tried following the steps and under the condition, instead of "Send me an email notification", you can choose from other options like "Send notification to recipient". But it seems these functionalities are still in preview mode and you have to have a PREMIUM account to use.

Hello.. can you please let me know how to align country to submit button.. for example I have 50 countries in a dropdown and if a user selects United Kingdom for example the email should go to a specific email address or if they select a different country the email should go to a different email address. Thank you
Is there any way to use Power Automate with Google Forms? I assume the answer is no.
Would a workaround be to use the Google Sheet where responses are automatically saved and auto export its data to sync onto an Excel worksheet (in essence, cloning the Google Sheet contents within Excel)? Then, Power Automate can run a flow that sends email notifications when the Excel worksheet is updated with a new form response.
Any thoughts?
Alternatively, is there a similar function available via IFTTT or Zapier that works with Google Forms / Outlook / Gmail ?
Power automate has free connectors to lots of app, including Google ones.
Anyone able to link me to a video where its form attachments posting to a team chat? yet to find instructions on this on the web.
I have followed intrusions however , it’s generating a general automated response I checked by clicking yes I received a notification o the tried with no I received a notification :( how do I fix this
I didnt understand the reason to use this feature or how does it help. It looks interesting though.
