The Mullet alone is worth the watch
@@danedwards6094 😄lol
I'm from Pittsburgh and I didn't like Cage's accent.
Trisha yearwood version. ther was a competition for some reason back day
Great Reaction to a Classic! 🖒
Looking forward to "The Rock" reaction.
Con Air is definitely one of those 90’s guilty pleasures. Nicholas Cage had an awesome run of mid-90’s action flicks
"The Rock", "Face/Off" and "Con Air" are like his Holy Trinity!
@coldflamebluedragon196 Guilty? Why feel guilty about liking "Con Air?" "Con Air" is awesome, and I'm proud to say it!
Nothing to feel guilty about it delivers on everything and doesn't outstay it's welcome.
From 95 to 2000 Cage was on a roll. Con Air, The Rock, Faceoff, City of Angels, 8MM, Snake eyes, Leaving Las Vegas, Kiss of death and Gone in 60 seconds.
These 6 years need to be studied. Absolute bangers.
Die in Las Vegas? I mean yes that's what he did, but I think you meant Leaving Las Vegas?
Also bringing out the dead, scorcese film
Snake eyes is such an odd duck movie. But damn if I don’t watch it every time it’s on. Really fun one
The "masked con" was Steve Buscemi. He's been in so many iconic movies: Reservoir Dogs, The Big Lebowsky, Fargo, Pulp Fiction, Airheads etc, etc.
"It's about to get lit" right before it literally gets lit.
If you want to see Steve Buscemi (Garland Green in this movie) in a serious dramatic role, I suggest checking out the series Boardwalk Empire.
Buscemi is a damn good dramatic actor too. We just see him mainly in comedies with Sandler and such. Same with Will Ferrell. Everything Must Go is a must watch if you want to see Ferrell do a dramatic role that is vastly different from his goofy comedies.
I didn't expect to love Buscemi as Nikita Khrushchev in 'The Death of Stalin', but damn he made it work somehow.
Lol half way through the movies "why does his friend look sick" lol he has been asking for his insulin the whole show! lol some people just don't pay attention.
"Is The Rock worth seeing?" 😅😂😂🤣😭😮😅😂...................
😆😅😂🤣🤣🤣
Yes. Yes it is. "Welcome to the Rock!"
The actor that played the pilot has been in a ton of dramatic shows. He was in a season of Lost and he was the INS agent at the beginning of MIB.
Now for the best John Malkovich movie you need to watch "In the line of Fire". Excellent Clint Eastwood movie.
I hear that is good!
Baby-O never got his insulin, thus the reason he looked sick during the flight.
John Malkovich did make a great 90s villain. Another great evil role for him is In The Line of Fire opposite Clint Eastwood.
"I don't think that's a real rule" probably the least ridiculous part of this movie. That said, still love this movie.
"He told me he loved me." 😂Dave Chappelle improvised many of his lines, and the destruction of the legendary Sands Hotel during the crazy Las Vegas landing was actually real. When the production team heard about the city's plan to demolish the building, they rigged a multiple-camera setup to film the event, which is what you eventually see in the film. Great reaction!
Thank you!!
@ForceOfLightEntertainment
When the female guard Bishop gave him a kiss 💋, you two said they really had something. In watching the reactions of today, I've noticed that this generation doesn't seem to perceive a difference of social norms from your generation to previous ones. It was normal for men and women to give each other a kiss on the cheek, especially under extraordinary circumstances. There is nothing romantic or sexual underlying in it. Male and female gender differences were more pronounced and accepted by both sexes.
Con Air like The Rock is another great, fun action classic and more proof that the 1990s is one of the best decades in film history
Cage used his “Raising Arizona “ character voice.
I recommend watching "Broken Arrow"and "Hard Rain"
I remember watching con air a lot as a kid. I was always fond of the wife in this movie. So gorgeous
I forgot that Colm Meaney and Ving Rahmes were in this. 1997 was a long time ago.
What do you mean?
1997 was only....OH MY GOD! WHO LET THIS HAPPEN?!
NIC CAGE movies to watch if not already seen. You said The Rock is next.
1.National Treasure but i get the feeling ya seen it 2.Face/off 3.Kick Ass 4.Raising Arizona 5.Honeymoon In Vegas 6.It Could Happen To You 7.Trapped In Paradise 8.Vampires Kiss 9.The Family Man 10.Windtalkers 11.Lord Of War 12.Renfield
The Rock is worth it just for Sean Connery's performance. He's great, as always. And The Rock is directed by the actual king of 90's action cheese, Michael Bay. You guys will love it. We had it great with the films back then. Just pure no-message, entertainment.
dude, You two make me laugh so damn hard. I watch and am subscribed to A LOT of different reaction channels, and this one is by far the funniest. Such great reactions. You both are so pretty too
Aww thank you!!

cast and other films you may know them from
Mykelti Williamson stars as bubba from forrest gump
Ving Rhames also in all mission impossible films
Steve Buscemi stars in Armageddon, Reservoir Dogs, Boardwalk Empire, Fargo, The Big Lebowski
Danny Trejo as johnny 23 stars in Machete, spy kids 1 2 3 maybe more,
John Malkovich stars in In the Line of Fire, RED & RED 2, The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy
Colm Meaney stars in star trek TNG and star trek DS9
Nick Chinlund as billy also stars in Ultraviolet, Tears of the Sun, The Mask of Zorro & The Legend of Zorro, The Chronicles of Riddick
the late Don S. Davis the man driving his car moaning about bird shit stared in STARGATE SG1 for 10 seasons
he died in 2008 of a heart attack
Don S. Davis also played the coach of the Racine Belles in A League Of Their Own.
as crazy as it sounds, this movie, is one of a select few of movies that was responsible for a lot of young men going through the pipeline and joining the ranger battalions. As well as black hawk down..great video!.
Thank you!
28:42 Hey, now! That's the late Don S. Davis! The guy played Molly's physician in _Look Who's Talking_ and General Hammond on _Stargate SG-1._ I didn't notice, before. I'm not accustomed to seeing him in such a small part.
Found out he also frequently stood in for Dana Elcar (Pete Thornton) on the original MacGyver back in the day and was in an episode or two as well. Loved him on Stargate SG-1.
As a fellow southerner, I agree completely. I think it would have been a better movie without the accent
That really did hurt my ears. It’s like that really weird cross between plantation patriarch and Appalachian trailer dweller that Hollywood thinks everyone from the South sounds like in the modern day
Going to the movies especially 70s-80s-90s was a blast! Thanks Y’all
Saw this in the theaters in Mississippi when it came out. We all were rolling in laughter throughout the movie.
The scene with Garland Green and the little girl (not shown) is what cured him of his insanity. Great reaction ladies. :)
Yes, wish that was in here:) thank you!
John Malkovich is an American theater and movie actor.
Do not confuse with John Horatio Malkovich, an American fictional actor from the movie "Being John Malkovich" (played by John Malkovich)
I saw this film in the theaters when it came out. Like a lot of Michael Bay/Bruckheimer films, it is just fun. I feel "The Rock" is slightly better because it's more polished, but all those 90s action films are just pure fun.
If you lovely young ladies know the song "Owner of a Lonely Heart" by Yes, that song was written primarily by young phenom lead guitarist and vocalist, Trevor Rabin. After leaving Yes, Rabin went on to compose about 40 movie scores, including the music for "Con Air", for which he is given co-composer credit.
As cheesy as this movie is, it was pretty accurate when the judge gave a soldier a harsher sentence than a civilian. I know from experience. Cops, teachers, soldiers, etc. actually get harsher sentences than repeat felons. My judge actually told me that because of my military service, "I should have known better."
I can believe it
The song How Do I Live was actually recorded for the movie by Trisha Yearwood, and not LeeAnn Rimes, although both had been asked to sing it for the soundtrack.
Both versions of the song came out at around the same time.
Then why did they use LeAnn Rime's version for the movie?
The Rock is a pretty good movie too, very over the top with the explosions (as it is a Michael Bay film). its also where that infamous gif of a green glass ball falls off of a hanging apparatus, bounces of Cage's foot and rolls to the edge of a building and Cage jumps to grab it, comes from. Nicholas Cage, Sean Connery, Ed Harris, John Spencer, William Forsythe, David Morse, Michael Biehn, and Tony Todd are in it. So fairly packed for good, if not great actors. Pretty decent Car chase in it too, Ferrari vs Hummer in San Francisco traffic
John Malkovich is in that movie “Being John Malkovich”…
Malkovich Malkovich?
15:52 "He talks Planely" 😂 Natalie with a zinger
"because the movie has to get going... Get off my back!"
"Why didn't you put the bunny back in the box?"
If you like "Con Air" you will like "The Rock" and also "Ghost Rider".
Or gone in 60 seconds
The Rocks definitely a must watch!... ( Sean Connery & Nic Cage, literally rock in that movie!... )
It’s next!
Nick Cage is always money in my book.
That judge was an idiot. There has never been such a law not allowing a veteran to defend himself.
John Malkovich was in Dangerous Liaisons with Glenn Close (1988), and he was in Of Mice and Men he played Lenny (1981).
The Rock is awesome! Definitely worth a watch.
Why did you guys skip the all the stuff at Lerner Airfield and go straight to Las Vegas
My guess is it’s a mistake-goof
LOL i know right
Prob fast easy cheap fix to get it on yt from the copyright strikes, tried prob a few times and gave up.
Because of Patreon, maybe?
5:51 "You guys, I'll try and take this accent seriously, and we _are_ southerners, but..."
Oh. That's why you're not _buyin'_ it. I get it.
One reactor I follow is Russian. I saw her reaction to the movie _The Hunt for Red October,_ a large portion of which is in Russian, and she kept telling us about certain parts they didn't translate quite right.
Is it Dasha?
@@georgezee5173 Son of a gun! Yes, it's Dasha.
Ah, more Dashans. Hello, bretheren.
Nic Cage went directly from filming this to doing Face/Off which explains his performance in that ! How Did This Get Made interviewed Danny Trejo and asked him which actor would be the worst to mess with IRL. He said "Cusack... there was something off with that cat !"
"He's an actor" ... haha xD
Baby-O is diabetic, he was inquiring about his insulin earlier.
I say that. It makes no nevermind. My day dad served in the south, so much he uses a lot of southern sayings. He also was in germany, so lots of German euphemisms too.
2:06 Yes Leann Rimes ORIGINALLY sang it, but since she was still very young when she sang it, the makers of this movie (R Rated) thought it would better to have an ADULT artist record it for the film. Not fair in my opinion.
FORCE OF LIGHT ENTERTAINMENT UnCAGED!
The actor you don't know who is the boss is John Malkovich. He is also in the two R.E.D. movies, and many more. He specializes in playing slightly bizarre characters.
Nicolas Cage, one of the most underrated actors we could ever have. I will always defend Cage no matter what.
Unfortunately, even in America, "self defense" isn't always self defense. My uncle went to prison for manslaughter because he shot and killed a man who broke into his home. It was ruled manslaughter instead of self defense under the Castle Law because he shot twice, even though he had no way of knowing if the first shot was effective. And if you're a veteran? Especially a combat veteran who knows how to apply lethal force? Oh, yeah. You're going away for a long time, son!
Just say no to Marxist regimes.
I like that they picked the date July 14th. I admit I'm biased about that, because that was my parents' wedding anniversary.
Just a good ol' fun movie ... Like the Burt Reynolds movies of the late 70s early 80s 😊
The Rock is awesome! You should definitely watch it!
It’s next!
John Malkovich first gained fame for his theatrical performances on Broadway. His transition to film has been a huge success as well. He is also a good comedic actor as can be seen in RED, RED2, and one of my favorite JM movies, "Being John Malkovich", which is a bit off-beat and lesser known, but in my mind, very entertaining.
Yeah, the accent and letter writing would've been more fitting in a civil war documentary. It is a Michael bay film.
Brendan Fraser 90's movies were great too 'Airheads' (Adam Sandler & Steve Buschemi in it as well) and 'Encino Man' (a caveman unfrozen with portable heaters & hair dryers lol has to go to high school) both are comedies and just fun watches
3:17 "Oh. They don't waste time."
It's different, though, with Poe. He's not just a _soldier._ He's Special Forces. What was once called the Green Berets.
Every branch of the US Armed Forces has their elite fighters who train to kill without conscious thought. These are people you _don't_ pick a fight with. They will do much _worse_ than kick your ass.
Poe is a Ranger. Not a Green Beret.
@@maingate7672 You're saying he's not an elite fighter, trained to kill without conscious thought? I thought that was a key point of the movie.
this is the most rewatchable guilty pleasure movie ever... if u are zapping and its playing, well.. one has to wacth it from there to the end!... :) Good choice!
20:21.Yeah, except once: 2006, Fox's political thriller Emmy-winning "24"..He plays a Counter-Terrorist Agent and gives his life saving an entire Hotel from a bomb. But Nick Chinland? ( Billy Bedlam)..Never has been a good guy in over 25 movies. In fact he also guested on " 24" in season 7 as a terrorist. Good summation/reaction, ladies..It was the big hit that summer! ( And yes, you should watch "The Rock"..Connery and Cage's chemistry is great!)
Wait! '24' had 7 seasons?!
I didn't even know it had 2! 😂
Granted, after the first season I started 2nd/3rd shift and have been here ever since so, I don't watch TV no mo'.
@@NarwahlGaming Had 8..they killed off Jack Bauer then..4 Emmy wins, great writing and guest stars:..I always hated swing shift because of that..ya do miss all the prime-time--But ya gotta get that $$, so i can dig it!
good nicolas cage movies:

1. Con Air
2. The Rock
3. Drive Angry
4. The Sorcerer's Apprentice
5. Gone In 60 Seconds
6. Ghost Rider
7. Next
8. Knowing
9. Kick-Ass
John Malkovich was Cyrus - Dave Chappelle was Pinball
Some more Nicolas Cage movies The Rock, Gone in 60 Seconds, National Treasure 2004, National Treasure: Book of Secrets 2007
What a fun roller coaster guy centric movie that has appeal even to the ladies and I’m glad you had a good time with it !! Nick Cage is something. Definitely watch FACE/OFF & NATIONAL TREASURE sometime and if you ladies want to see Nick in really a mostly chick flick movie check out PEGGY SUE GOT MARRIED before Nick Cage’s voice changed LOL 😂 I think you both will love it !!
Oh wow. This movie is so much up your alley.
Saw this when it was released in cinemas. Awesome movie, over the top, but really entertaining and fun. Good to see on a Friday night after a long week at work. The Rock is fantastic, yes please react to it.
"Define irony. A bunch of idiots, on an airplane, dancing to a song sung by a band that died in a plane crash." -Garland Greene.
My favorite quote from the movie. Also, I freaking love this movie! Whenever it's on TV, I'm watching it.
Am I the only person who has always believed the idea for this movie had to come from someone using a Conair hairdryer?
😂😂
Producer: _"I paid you good money to come up with a script! Where is it?"_
Writer (who's been slacking off): _"Uhm... It's right here, sir!"_ **rustles some blank pages against the phone**
Producer: _"Well, what's it about? What's its name?"_
Writer looks around the bathroom he's currently in and spots the dryer.
Writer: _"Con.... air....?"_
Producer: _"A movie about convicts on an airplane? BRILLIANT!"_
Writer: _"Yes! Exactly!"_
Now there needs to be movies about how other movies got made. 😂
14:50 You just said you recognize that actor and his voice...if you are referring to the bald guy, THAT'S John Malkovich, if you are referring to the pilot, his name is Fredric Lehne, he played the US Marshal who arrested Kate in the TV show "LOST".
ONE OF THE MOST BEAUTIFUL IF NOT THE MOST BEAUTIFUL OF NICOLAS CAGE FOR THE STORY THEN THE ENDING WITH THE LITTLE GIRL 😍😍 ABSOLUTE MASTERPIECE 🙏🇺🇸🇮🇹☝️
John Malkovich and the guy playing the pilot were my favorite in this movie when I was growing up. I'm surprised they're not in more movies, especially John. Maybe they are, and I just don't know about it. I've seen the other guy in more movie than John, but usually as a side character.
I think a lot of this movie is unrealistic and has some bad writing. But for some reason it hits with me and I love it, despite that. I think because all of the characters and actors, and the different scenarios and action scenes. Then the guy is reunited with his wife and child by the end.
The reason the court ruled the way it did in the beginning follows what many states would for manslaughter. The knife was missing and when his wife ran inside for help he then had no witnesses to a knife existing. A prosecutor can use any martial arts or military training you have in your past to push for excessive force during their court summation.
It's still a bogus sentence, but it was needed to push the plot forward.
Regardless, it was still 3 against 1. Even in a scenario with those 3 not having weapons, the moment they start assaulting you you have the right to use deadly force to defend yourself. But it's just a movie at the end of the day...
The Rock is a must aswel with Connery l, all these have the same style as Armageddon , love all these movies - macho and fun
You should watch "Leaving Las Vegas" with Nicolas Cage - the only movie he has ever won an Oscar for (best actor) One of the best movies I have ever seen.
Ahh, ladies, if only Nic Cage's southern accent were the *most* absurd thing you were gonna see in this movie..! 😂
@@gluuuuue Such a creep.
There is a glaring error in this movie that must be addressed. Mykelti Williamson's character, "Baby Odell", is obviously suffering from Hypoglycemia (LOW blood sugar), as many diabetics do if they do not eat over an extended period of time. HE DOES NOT NEED INSULIN, which would lower his blood sugar level; he needs something to raise his blood sugar quickly. Sugary food, cookies or candy or crackers or fruit juice, anything which would raise the blood sugar to a safe level would do; something somebody might have had on hand. Diabetics who routinely suffer hypoglycemia often carry glucose tablets or hard candies for just such an eventuality. The way they portray his situation in this movie merely perpetuates the fallacy that insulin is needed here, when actually that might make the symptoms worse by lowering the blood sugar level even more.
Well I'm 53 now when Conair came out I think I saw it in the theater I do know I liked it I still kind of like it
I do like the rock better I used to live in Frisco too
the director didn't like cages original southern accent so he told him "it needs more forrest gump"
6:56 This girl is Angela Featherstone, "F*R*I*E*N*D*S" fan will know her as the girl Ross slept with when "they were on a break". She was born in my hometown of Hamilton, Ontario.
Haven’t seen that episode in a long time haha!
So…we know Harry’s lesser known aunt, Monica, but we don’t know John Malkovich….?!
The "dude from the Adam Sandler movies" is Steve Buscemi.
Mykelti Williamson was also on Justified! Great show! One of my favorites!
Absolutely The Rock. And Face/Off.
FACE-OFF with John Travolta & Nicholas Cage is another very good movie as well. I strongly suggest yall react to it. Your gonna thank me for it.❤
Definitely watch The Rock (co-starring Sean frickin' Connery) as well. That and Con Air are Nicolas Cage's best 90s action roles along with Face/Off (co-starring John Travolta).
A Nicolas Cage movie I would highly recommend is Family Man, I was really surprised how good it was.
I saw this movie in the theater and it's one of my favorites! Ladies I think you'll enjoy The Rock!
" The Rock " with Sean Connery and Ed Harris. 2 thumbs up.
It just hit me the pilot is the agent who arrested Kate in Lost
Good movie ladies. Cyrus, the virus is John Malkovich “the actor”. Nick Cage cellmate was also the same actor that played Bubba in Forrest Gump. Michelle, Natalie how come you all don’t sound southern like Nick Cage?
There are lots of different southern accents and his is absolutely ridiculous 😂
@@ForceOfLightEntertainment some people think as people from Missouri have an accent as well.
Yeah, Cameron Poe apparently got the worst lawyer in the world to defend him in court. And the worst judge to try the case as well.
Con Air and the Rock? Come on ladies. These are classic men movies. But you'll love them
The judge's argument was that Cameron's training gave him advantage ine fight, and that it made him a deadly weapon. Nevertheless, the sentence was too severe in my opinion. Like you said, it was self defense, unfortunately ending in someone's death. That last part may have been the only thing worthy of any kind of punishment, but not the one that the judge doled out.
Malkovich plays in red.
Also in line of fire with clint Eastwood, psychological thriller. Great bad guy.And this of course
This movie broke the cornball meter. lmao Never seen it, but my Lord. haha You two made it worth watching though. Keep up the good work!
Physically impossible to fly into Las Vejas in three different directions 💯❤️🧡🙂✅️
