      One of Cusack's first films was a sort of teem film/sort of action movie called Hot Pursuit.
      I can never get past Cage's accent.
      Chris Hemsworth had Cabin in the Woods come out right before Avengers because he starred in both and Joss Whedon wrote/co-wrote both, but Cabin in the Woods was shot years earlier and put on the shelf. If they put it out right after Avengets, it may have made money.

  • @JeffKelly03
    @JeffKelly03 26 дней назад +28

    Danny Trejo was a guest on the podcast How Did This Get Made a few years back, and they asked him about Con Air. Danny has done hard time in prison (including serving time with Charles Manson), so he's seen some shit. They were curious, on this set, with all of these tough, super macho actors all trying to out-macho each other, who was the most intimidating. And do you know who he said? John Cusack.
    Cusack has been doing martial arts for decades and, according to Trejo's description, "There was just something behind his eyes" that scared the shit out of him.

    Never seen this movie before, never even heard of it but I love your reactions so much, I didn't want to be left out. Usually for reaction channels I'm only interested in what I've seen before but you guys have made me check out what I wouldn't normally. So see this getting out of our comfort zones goes both ways! 😂 It was amazingly fun but I have to admit the line, "Make a move and the bunny gets it" did make have to pause for a bit. Shawshank Redemption could never! 🤣

    So Benny Benny the Jet was the fight choreographer and he would keep Dang Trejo And John Cusack away from the other cast during breaks. When Dany asked him why he said it was because the other guys were actors pretending to be tough and he and John could actually fight so he didn't want one of the other actors to try and mess with them becuase he knew they could hurt them.
