people NEED to read the book All Quiet on the Western front. The films do the gritty war scenes great. But the book is it's own level of war.

All Quiet On The Western Front (2022 Version) really surprised me since everyone from the beginning died. And Das Boot managed to shocked me as well since I thought they would survive but didn't.

The 2022 version is a poor imitation of the 1930 version

If you watch the 5 hour version of _Das Boot_ it makes that twist even more devastating, since you've been with this group of people for over 5 hours, and seen them literally escape death more times than should be possible, only for... well, _that_ to happen. Great film. Loses none of its punch decades after its release.

That was a brief shot of Richard Burton not Richard Harris in The Wild Geese.

Featuring a huge ensemble cast featuring Roger Moore and Richard Harris...proceed to show a picture of Roger Moore and....Richard Burton 😂

I could swear WhatCulture deliberately puts in one blatant mistake in every video to get more comments.

Enemy at the Gates... that rather selfish self sacrifice, doesnt completely resolve the film. It gives Vasily a clue to where his erstwile opponent is, but isnt the end. Vasily actually out smarts the german with his skill in moving undetected.

Such an interesting movie scene nobody talked about that movie enough, sniper vs sniper was very intense storytelling.

,aster and Commander is one of my favorite movies, partially because it spent loads of time on an actual boat. Hopefully, the prequel goes for similar tactics.

I’m not a fan of the don’t step off the line or you die troupe. I disarmed so many ied’s and mines. No mine works like that. Anti-vehicle mines won’t blow if you step on them cause they require a certain amount of weight. Everything else goes off the moment you step on it.

Oddly enough the only movie I can remember that gets this right is Tropic Thunder when the director steps on a mine lol....I get why they do it though need to build tension/drama

Arnie Hammer's fall from grace was completely justified. Still, a bit of a shame for he was a good actor. And easy on the eyes. But a psycho too...alas.
