Oh my goodness, i just made 4 just like these but using a stamp roller. Everyone in class loves them but i just see problems. My teacher doesn’t teach so it’s a guessing game. You just showed me how to solve both my issues. I wish i saw this beforehand but your videos are so helpful. I’m really grateful ❤my seams never turn out very well and some of them are a little wonky. Using the pot to fix the shape is great! I used a different clay and my mug handle broke so i made the whole set without them. I regret now because of the seams but i just ordered the silicone tools last night so I’m hoping they will help!

I assume you slab roll a bit thicker than you want so that once you texture it, it is the right thickness?
That's what I would do... it looks pretty deep.
Should the clay be plastic when you do the texture? Should it not sit to set up for a bit after you apply the texture?
