    What do u use to hold the fondant rose on the cake??

    • @CakingatMidnight
      @CakingatMidnight  2 года назад

      If your buttercream isn't crusted it will hold it. You can also use a little water or edible glue.

    do you store your fondant decorated cakes in the fridge overnight before delivering?

    • @CakingatMidnight
      @CakingatMidnight  3 года назад +1

      If completely covered in fondant... No they do not get stored in the fridge. If it just has fondant accents then yes, I store those in the fridge

    What size cake does this mold fit? I know 4" high - but what diameter?

    • @CakingatMidnight
      @CakingatMidnight  4 года назад

      The cake I covered was an 8" round cake. You can cover any size cake you would like, just would need an exacto knife to cut along the rosettes. You can also flip the mold if you have a taller cake.

      Is it direct to the buttercream cake or neeed to cover a fondant first?

    • @CakingatMidnight
      @CakingatMidnight  4 года назад

      The cake is crumb coated 1st

    • @CakingatMidnight
      @CakingatMidnight  4 года назад

      Also, I put a layer of fondant on the top of the cake only
