What is difference between Global and EU?

Hi, You did not mention the part of waiting for 7 days before unlocking and you did not also mention that you have to add your account under Developer options > Mi Unlock Status.
These are crucial to having this done successfully.

Once you unlock the bootloader you can't use Google pay. Try using the ROM from Xiaomi.eu Forum which comes with safetynet Pass

@TOPFONE4U I seem to have an issue flashing EU Rom... gets to the end of sending Sparse super 8/8. Finished. total time 447.522s, then it just sits there setting current slot to 'a' any ideas... been doing this for 20 minutes so far...

On XDA, many people blocked the phone and needed EDL authorization.

I believe both phone uses the same ROM but not tried the mi 11 pro, as soon as I get my hands on the Mi 11 pro, I will update.

There is a difference in tweaks and performance of global rom and eu rom or you just like eu rom to get the update faster
Xiaomi.eu ROM is based on the chinese version and get updated faster than the Global Version

No, you don't have to install any fix. A long as your bootloader has been unlocked, you are good to go.

I have installed EU Rom with windows fastboot install but the device runs hot like hell.. I try to install Global rom but MiFlash alwasys gives me fastboot error. I deleted 8 lines for antirollback but it still does not work. I have tried different roms but none of them is working. I cant flash any rom with MiFlash. What am I doing wrong?
Once you delete the lines, copy the ROM to your Local C drive.

As long as you did unlock the bootloader yourself all you need to do just put the phone back to fastboot mode and use the Mi unlock tool to unlock the bootloader again. It is cheaper to buy the chinese version and flash the global ROM, however if money is not a problem I would strongly advise to get the official Global version.
I'm Algerian, I've just got the Chinese version is way more cleaner in terms of design (talking about the Xiaomi logo on the back of the phone), so yeah just get the chinese Which is cheaper and unlock the bootloader to have the freedom you want with such great device.

After flashing from China rom to global or global to china, the phone gets bricked, and only authorized account can flash it back, and make it work, do you have any suggestions ? how to get authorized account ?
Sound like your phone already has a mi account linked to it, if you didn't unlock the bootloader yourself, you have to get the person who unlock the bootloader to authorise the device.

You have to make sure you have the correct fastboot and ADB driver

Xiaomi only allow you to unlock 1 device each month, so if you want to unlock a different phone within a month you must use a different account registered with different phone number.

if you flash the official global ROM, No safetynet pass, therefore netflix and banking apps will not work but you will receive OTA update, for ROM from Xiaomi.eu comes with safetynet pass and most apps work fine however you have to update manually

Just to clarify if you have the fastboot ROM from xiaomi.eu forum you don't need MiFlash tool. Just run the "windows_fastboot_first_install_with_data_format" and it will do everything for you. However if you have the official global ROM from en.miui.com/ you have to use the MiFlash tool.

after unlock bootloader, flash to xiaomi.eu rom mi 11 lite 5g.but after reboot it goes to miui recovery 5.0..then it goes to fastboot n stuck there..
Make sure you have the correct ROM for your device. Try doing the a fresh install then wait for the phone to come back on. 1st boot will take a few minutes.

when setting up the mi account , Xiaomi ask for my phone number to send me a confirmation text , I never get the text, email works but no phone number, Any idea?
Make sure you enter the phone number in the international format including the country code. For example in the would be +44789....etc
