Hello boss, I stumbled onto your video, which is incredibly succinct and direct. I'm trying to unlock a 12s Ultra's bootloader, but I'm having trouble. After verification, the MI Unlock programme states that it cannot unlock. The only instruction is to add the phone to the account in the developer settings; there is no 168-hour wait time displayed. Despite that, I waited for 7 days with no luck; any assistance would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
there must be an easier way. 1 week wait time all I need is to flash a eu version on my cn version
Depend on your location, but whatever time it gives you, there is no other way.

Yes, once you link your Mi account successfully, you can take out the sim card and use on a different phone. You can even switch the device and come back after 7 days to proceed and unlock the phone. Just make sure you don't remove the Mi account
hello once the initial unlock process is stopped due to time restriction can I turn off usb debugging and oem unlock? to secure device again and use as normal etc? until 168 hours are gone also when i install the xiomi eu rom first time via fastboot method. can i then manually flash twrp for future rom flashing? does it matter if i flash twrp after fastboot flash of the rom? or od i have to flash twrp before i do it?
You can use the phone while you for the time to unlock. Make sure you DO NOT log out from the mi account on the phone. TWRP is not supported on MIUI13 so you have to manual update the xiaomi.eu ROM at the moment
Hello i want to flash my Mi 11 pro.. Im using miflash_unlock-en-5.5.224.24.zip.. but i got error 1004 and error -1.. it seems the new version of miflash unlock is different from last version. im running MIUI 12.0.6.. because error i disabled again the OEM UNLOCKING.

To use Mi AI in English you have to Flash the Global ROM otherwise only works in Chinese

Yes, you take the SIM card out and use it on another phone. Once you have your mi account linked you won’t need the SIM card again

If you have the official global ROM you can update OTA, but the Xiaomi.eu ROM you have to download the latest ROM and perform the update.

Careful because once the bootloader has been unlocked successfully the phone will be factory reset automatically and everything will be deleted. Back up all your files before doing anything. No you cannot update one version to the other, you have to do a fresh install
I downloaded the Mi tool zip folder, but it does not look like this. It does not show the option to Run the MIFLASH.EXE.

There a difference between the Mi tool which allows you to unlock the bootloader and the MiFlash Tool which you can use to flash the phone. You need to download the miflash tool here c.mi.com/oc/miuidownload/detail?guide=2

Careful because once the bootloader has been unlocked successfully the phone will be factory reset automatically and everything will be deleted. Back up all your files before doing anything. No you cannot update one version to the other, you have to do a fresh install

hey now im on MIUI 12.5 Indonesia and i would like to change to Global 12.5.5. I've ask several users about the stability and battery drain in Global Rom, they said it so stable and the battery SOT could held mostly 6-7 hours daily use instead of Indonesia ROM, i only get 4 hours and.... hahaha

If your bootloader is already unlocked then no, you don't have to unlock again.
After 8 days i tried to check my phone and went to developer options - MI unlock status and checked if my MI account is still link in phone but it says cannot verified so i try to logout my MI account and login again. So i went back to MI unlock status and my MI account is already link to my phone. When i start to unlock my phone, it still says wait 168hours to unlock the phone. Do i still to wait for another 7 days again? So After 7days, will i just proceed to unlocking procedure and wont do anything on my phone?
Yes, if your phone is not linked or you log out of the Mi account you have to wait again. Make sure you link the phone using the Sim card data and not wifi

So, I just got my Mi 11 (brilliant phone btw!) and I did the first steps to unlock the bootloader. It says I need to wait 158 hours. The big question is: Is there any point in me setting the phone up before I actually unlock the phone? Will the unlock erase all my apps & settings?
You can use the phone but don't remove the Mi account, and after successfully unlocked the bootloader the phone will be factory reset

If your bootloader hasn't been unlocked, just download the original ROM instead and follow the same steps
I do this all but after booting to fastboot, the unlock program still doesn't seen my phone.
Phone is detected in Windows otherwise (when it's fully on).
Put your phone into fastBoot mode and go to Device Manage to check the driver is properly installed. Alternative open CMD and type "fastboot devices" command to make sure your device is displayed. if not check to makes sure you have the correct driver installed

Once you unlock the bootloader you can't use Google pay. Try using the ROM from Xiaomi.eu Forum which comes with safetynet Pass

Time differ from accounts, some get immediate unlock and others have to wait.

When I click "unlock" it says "Please add your account in MIUI's Settings > Developer options > Mi Unlock Status.
But When I check the "Mi Unlock Status" on my phone it says "This Device is locked" The phone is secured".
So, I click on "add account and device" (because I already have an account, and logged in").
It then says "Added Successfully".
I power off my phone.
Turn it back on in FastBoot
Insert USB
Open Unlock Tool.
And Unlock..but still same message ""Please add your account in MIUI's Settings > Developer options > Mi Unlock Status."

You need to go to developer option then link your mi account using the sim card registered to your Mi account. Don't use wifi

I download the file but there is no "miflash_unlock.exe". I only have "batch_unlock.exe" maybe its the same but my phone is not detected when in fastboot mode.
Put your phone in Fastboot mode then connect it to your PC and run MiUsbdriver.exe, it could be that the phone drivers are not install.
