Very, very, very good guide. I will only add two things. After booting to twrp, you have to input your password to allow twrp access to wipe the phone.
Second is that after wiping, I had to reboot the phone to twrp again in order to access the folders to copy over the custom rom.

Download latest minimal adb and fastboot.
Install it to program files x86\minimal adb
Then open start windows menu and on run type CMD then hit enter
Then type cd \program files x86
Then you should see the path changing to c:\program files x86
Then type cd minimal adb
Then hit enter
The you should be in the minimal adb folder

There is even an easier tip. Just use windows explorer to navigate to the minimal adb folder.
Then press Shift + right click mouse button anywhere in the folder window.
Select the “Open command window here” option from the context menu.

Everytime there is an update you will need to boot TWRP again with the command and flash it. You can inject TWRP if you want. Bootloader can not be locked when using custom roms like xiaomi.eu

Hi, thanks for the guide very helpful, I had CN Mi11 that I flashed stock EU via Fast Boot but looked into xiaomi.eu which seem to be well supported and with safetynet passing already applied , I had to restart into TWRP after format data for storage to show on computer, Just wanted to ask can I install twrp into the phone ? and just flash future OTA updates without using the computer ? I know it wont be automated but I think you can download future ota zip and just boot into twrp and install rom ... Thanks

Yes, it will persist. You can install twrp with fastboot, check the commands in Google or also inject within twrp.

@@VelianSpeaksTech will look but have another issue with screen not automatically rotating had the same issue on stock EU at first restart would get it working and would stop working after 1-2 days than gradually it got worse and stopped totally I thought maybe ROM issue but still not working xiaomi.eu I feel it's hardware fault with unlocking boot loader and flashing ROM doubt have warranty :(

No only if u come from the global Rom to eu rom or for example u want to switch to weekly from stable rom only then u have to wipe data. If there is a new stable u just have to download the Rom to your phone then boot into Twrp and install and ur good to go

You can, with Xiaomi.eu, but right now TWRP decryption doesn't work so it means TWRP cant read your data abd you need to install rom updates via PC or USB otg.
