I am not seeing the batch_ unlock. exe i am only seeing batch unlock then when I open it I just see something like an excel sheet, I don't even get a code and I can't use my phone and i am getting frustrated. HELP!!!!

Does the Mi flash unlock tool stay singed in after 168 hours in now in 2024, or I need to sign in again with my account ??
make sure you "disable driver signing enforcement" bc if you dont, you will try installing the Android ADB Interface driver and youll get a message saying "the hash for the file is not present", after i did this, it allowed me to install the driver and my phone then showed up under batch_unlock

So you need to instal somre drivers before using the prohram or this later one will automatically recognize the phone once you connect it to the pc????
Normally once you plug your phone windows will install the necessary drivers for you

Yes, you can switch the phone off and remove sim card to use on another machine. Just don't sign out /Remove the Mi account on the phone.

Man.... I have a Redmi 7A that bricked and it's stuck on boot loop after it attempted a normal system update.... Of course I wouldn't know that this would happen so the phone is not unlocked... How can I recover it? I can't flash the ROM since it's not unlocked but I can't get into the phone to unlock it in the first place.

No, You can switch off the phone and leave it until after 7 days if you don't need it. Just don't remove the mi account from the phone.
After following these exact steps, when i connect my phone to the PC and enter Fastboot mode, the MI Flash Unlock tool says my phone is already unlocked? But I am sure it is not because when I check the Unlock status is says device is locked. What can I do?
Humm, do you see a small unlocked (lock) logo on top of the device when you boot it up, if yes, your device is unlocked.

Yes, you can use the device as normal while waiting. If you don't want to use it, just turn the phone off and wait for the time to pass then go straight to fastboot mode to unlock the bootloader. As long as you don't remove the mi account, you will be fine

Once your account has been linked successfully, you can switch the wifi back on and use the phone as normal while you wait

Once you logged in and add the device you should leave your account logged in. don't remove the mi account
Should I login my account on both phone and PC again after waiting for 7days before final unlock because it's requesting I sign in from the pc
Yes, after the 7 days you have to log back in with your mi account on the PC to unlock the bootloader

Don't sign out /remove your mi account. After 168 hours just put the phone in Fastboot mode and proceed to unlock the bootloader

You can only lock the bootloader with the original MIUI from the manufacturer. If you have any other MIUI version locking the bootloader will brick your device

Chinese ROM shouldn't block your network. It might be a hardware fault

Go to setting then disable WiFi, insert the sim card you registered with your mi account, enable data on your sim card then go to developer option and link your account and wait until you see a notification saying account linked successfully

Check your device manager to make sure all the drivers have been installed. Search for the Qualcomm Drivers as well

You need to recover the phone first, by flashing the original ROM in fastboot. Once it's on, you can then request to unlock the bootloader
