whew! I panicked there a little. LOL after i clicked unlock on the unlock tool, my RN8Pro rebooted and got stuck on MIUI logo. what I did was unplugged it and reboot the phone. once it rebooted it shows the unlock symbol at the top and the phone is reset already, then it updated itself after i connected it to the wifi network, signed in my google acct., copied my back up. :)

Yes you can use it. Dont reset your phone dont remove or change sim cards and dont sign out of mi account otherwise the 168 hrs timer will reset

Sir while unlocking it says add mi account go to settings, developer options but i cant add mi account to the setting because i cant open my device it stuck on miui logo..
go to recovery and a do a factory reset

guy, do note that this method does not unlock the bootloader instantly. so i followed his steps, downloaded the unlock tool in his desc, but still have to wait 168 hours! 😒😒😒

Hi there, I have tried this multiple times using my Poco X3 NFC using new non-activated SIMs, new Mi Accounts and new email addresses. Also, only mobile data was turned on - not Wifi. And it is still making me wait 168 hours. Any ideas? Is this known to work on Poco X3 NFC? It’s made by Xiaomi, so theortically I’m guessing it should work just fine.

My device is new (few days old) i am going for custom Xiaomi.eu rom of miui 12 cause of some battery drain problems do you recommend doing so or should i keep using stock global rom device is (Redmi Note 9s) Thanks.
In india unlocking the bootloader doesnt void the warranty but things maybe different in your country, however you can always relock and revert to stock so there's no harm in trying a custom rom. Good luck.

I found an older download which works .. unfortunately you have to wait the 7 days as requested but i dont mind i finally found a download that works i have tried so many almost gave up... Mi Unlock tool 5.5.224.24 dont work... Mi Unlock tool 3.5.1030.37 works for Mi11... hope this helps Mi 11 owners

Matter of fact my PC runs a ryzen 5 1600 processor and I have had no issues installing twrp on multiple devices what's the error that you are facing
@@PhoneOps whenever i try to install twrp via adb it,and you know my device will be in fastboot mode on that time, when i type fastboot flash recovery and that img file location, and press enter,but after that it shows fail to load image error and my poco f1s screen shows press any key to shutdown.

Firstly it doesn`t detect my phone. I checked in the device manager and it was not showing as bootloader device. I downloaded older version of the unlocking tool with the usb driver. I installed the driver and then I opened the v5 mi unlock tool and then the device showed up. I clicked unlock and error 1004. Any solution? .

Firstly i've used XiaomiFlash with global begoania eea images but during flashing got warnings "Not Allowed in Locked State". Then i tried to unlock bootloader but i can't run OS.
