So, I tested this out on the Redmi Note 9 (merlin) and it worked amazing! I held the volume up + down and the power button, while conneceting the USB cable. So far so good!

Bro i got a redmi 9i. used your method and after the window closed the device wont power on nor show any signs of life, after 3 days it randomly decided to be back on life after connecting it to charge(bear in mind that the device was 71% charged when unlocking). However the bootloader wasnt unlocked. tried it again today and the same issue persist. used both the up volume and down volume keys... Edit: using fastboot reboot while pressing the volume down button solved the issue and booted into TWRP (A11 wasn't booting but A10 did)
@@adarsh9189 make sure ur android version is 10 and not 11, then follow the steps in the vedio, when he says to disconnect your usb and press power+volume button there instead of disconnecting your cable hold the volume up key and type "fastboot reboot" on your computer and press enter. Your device will boot to twrp..
I just noticed if the wont power on , instead of waiting for the 3days you had to wait, just open the back casing disconnect the battery connect to force a battery pull and connect it again, the phone will boot up. I guess once the process fails an old fashioned battery pull should fix it. Used it countless times on my Redmi 9A
