Hi, hope you’re well. I loved the work so far and great videos. Just wondered if there would be any more? I’ve always fancied one of these and I’ve learnt loads from your stuff.

Hi Gerry, there will be more Videos, but there is a big Butt in the middle. I do this in me freetime, of which i have had not so much lately. Reasons are, i moved from my "home" Garage, to a rented Garage in February, which took some time, you know like it is. Then we moved with all our stuff in May into a new home. In the destination house there is and was a lot todo. We managed todo a lot, but then, i can only do so much in my freetime and most of the time i spent with renovating or keeping up with my bikes i already have. My buddies call me a "freak" because i am so tedious with my bikes. I like to have them clean and very well maintained, that i do not make a video about that. Having said that, if anyone wants me to put the camera on my maintenance stuff, i will do. So the SuperTen Project got very neglected for obvious reasons. I have at least another 4 or 5 videos from all the things i have done, but did not find the time to get the material edited. I am not planning to be so "silent" here but when the wife says, kitchen goes first. I do the kitchen ;-) Then we have to also count on the holidays with the family and so on. Stay tuned, there will be new videos as soon as possible! And for all of that, thank you very much for caring!

@@toms-channel oh wow, it’s great to hear that you’re ok. Sometimes life just gets in the way eh? I have a ZXR 750 that I’m trying to “refresh”, wouldn’t call it a restoration as it’s being done on a tight budget and when life (and wife 😂) isn’t getting in the way, so have enjoyed some of your tips. Especially the part about painting as that’s something I’m keen to do myself but haven’t got the kit yet. Good luck with the house stuff and looking forward to the next instalment when you get time. I’ve subscribed now so should get notifications when it happens 👍

you should not push bearings in on the inner race, use large socket in the outer race.

I finished my rebuild of my XTZ 750 two weeks ago and I bought new spokes for rear wheel before actually checking the hub and rim. They where too far gone to use anymore, bearings where loose on the hub and rim was corroded badly. So now my XTZ has a TDM 850 3VD real wheel, that fits exactly. Maybe if someday I find a XTZ rear hub that is in good condition, I might put it back. Replacement rims and spokes are easy to get, hubs no one makes :(

Nice,That you finished it! I have still a long way to go. The rear is as bad as the front. So i got to adress that in the next Episodes. Have fun with your Bike
