Hi all!
Always wanted to do this one, and I've seen it requested and tbh I dont know why I've never tackled it. Big Wagner fan so we good there haha. Chose to do my college Music History paper on Wagner's Tristan and Isolde I'm such a fan of his work. Thanks for everything! It means the world. Always rockin my casbah
Best to ya

Valkyries is basically just metal written before electricity was invented
The same goes for a lot of classical. Gustav Holst's Mars is a prime example.
Look at most composer's and how they behaved. Baithoven would have been throwing tvs out of hotel windows and grashing cars in to swimming pools if he was alive today
Scrubs R/C Beethoven doing lines and banging groupies left and right lol
@@teamatfort444 you know it dude
Just wanted to say that electricity was not invented... we just learned how to MAKE it. I'll leave now...
Daniel Bryan comments incoming! haha

*proceeds to spend the rest of the day screaming 'YES'*
ChibiGingi same
A ustedes les gusta las cabalgatas de las valkirias
Howe could really play it
ХОЙ
Doncha just love the smell of napalm in the morning
Next the flight of the bumblebee !
Love the combination between orchestal music and metal
Simon Repolt it's surprising how well classical music works as metal, until you realize how "loud" and "unconventional" artists like Beethoven were viewed in their day. And the melodies are usually simple enough to transpond to a guitar
And I love your icon man
That would be cool af, you should also listen to the flight of the wounded bumblebee by extreme
Do you know this version? ruclips.net/video/xXZKS5bHtP4/видео.html
Classical is basically just Proto Metal - I have no doubt Beethoven, etc would have been metalheads had he been alive today.
This is incredible. Nothing more metal than a song about valkyries riding into a battle to claim the dead
Can it get more Metal ( Without the known cosmos being torn asunder down to the last 2 surviving subatomic particles ) ?
Just imagine a giant army marching to war and *this* is blasting overhead... Truly epic.
Daniel Appleton to quote the movie Apocalypse Now "I love the smell of Napalm in the morning"
Firewolf12397 For some reason I am leaning more towards Fury Road.
Daniel Appleton well what can I say except I'm a history buff and I'm a fan of most war movies for the most part even some might fit into other categories like I've seen Casablanca and that's a classic movie I love Great Escape to amongst other movies
Back in Desert Storm, when they breached the dirt wall to invade Kuwait, they had Humvees with 25,000 watt speakers blaring this as they rolled to war
@Daniel Appleton Erock made one. Here: ruclips.net/video/Q78Darbt3Yo/видео.html
THIS should be Bryan Danielson's version of the theme in AEW. The beginning of it already has that build up sound
@Bestow5000 it does now. He's gonna kick your fucking head in!
Kill the wabbit, Kill the Wabbit.....
Kill da wabbit?
Beat me to it!
Millennials won't get the reference.
Stephen Gunnoe I'm pretty sure Cartoon Network still had Looney Tunes when Millennials were still children.
This was literally the first thing I thought when he started to play that part lol
I'm more of a country music musician who plays drums at his church, but I have always loved your stuff ever since I found out about you in 2014, thank you for making me smile and thank you for all the hard work.
Thank YOU for sticking with me in the these tough RUclips times!
Sounds like you can play this after the main event of WrestleMania 30.
THE YES MOVEMENT IS HERE!
So, "Die Walküre" is the title of the piece. The opera it's from is ~ "Der Geld von den Nibelungen" (if someone knows better, by all means chime in), which is the first part of Wagner's infamous cycle, "Der Ring."
It' from 'Der Ring der Nibelungen' - not 'Geld von den Nibelungen' (where did you get that one from?)
No matter how it's played, where I hear it, or who is there when it's played, this bit of music *always* makes me think of the second chapter of Lord of the Flies.
Every time I read the ending of that chapter, with the island burning, this comes on in my head.
YES! YES! YES! YES! YES! YES! YES! YES!
Also here’s hoping that Daniel Bryan beats The Miz at Summer Slam.
KanekoXLiamB YES Daniel is way superior to the miz
But on a heel turn: NO! NO! NO!
This is epic, and I love it... but all I can hear in my head is Elmer Fudd singing “Kill da wabbit! Kill da wabbit!” Because I’m 5 years old on the inside, and everything I know about classical music I learned from Bugs Bunny 😅
Your not alone there I learned metaphors from Tom n jerry too
With my spear and magic helmet.....
Oh christ now I can hear it too 😆
Wagner was the first heavy metal composer
I've been waiting eons for this!
Wonderful version Eric! Congrats
Amazing as always Eric!
Toccata and Fugue next!
Yes yes 100 times yes
There we go!
Or Faure's Pavagne for a dead princess...
Awesome job as always dude this rocks!
All I can hear is Elmer Fudd singing Kill the rabbit kill the rabbit LOL!
Same. You, my friend, had an awesome childhood!
That's when cartoons were actually GOOD and intended for kids.
@@txgunguy2766 now we get twerking power puffs.
Fat Samurai Productions all I can here is thousands of Daniel Bryan's fans shouting yes yes yes yes yes yes
🎶🎵"What have i done! Poor little bunny! Poor little wabbit!"🎶🎵
This was Awesome! I think this is the first Valkyries cover I've ever heard which actually sounded different from all the others. Well done Erock!
Majestic!!! Just like everything else you touch.👍
Beautifully done! Thanks!
This is so soothing
Thanks so much for covering this. Maybe the one of three things from classical music in general that I undoubtedly like.
Dude that fucking preview of your album at the end is beautiful

Classical makes for such good Metal, since they share many of the same musical components.

That’s all I can hear in my head listening to this, it’s so epic. :D
First thing I thought when I saw the email feed: can he pull it off? Yes, he can! Congratulations, man!
I think this is how it was meant to sound.
The best cover

Gods bless you
I’ve been trying to learn this song for months. Your arrangement is awesome. I don’t have it it anywhere near full speed yet.
Learn it on a violin first
When the Aston Martin Valkyrie is officially launched, this needs to play
Amazing. I always thought Wagner' music was the first heavy metal ...👍🏻👍🏻
"Toccata and Fugue in D Minor" by Bach.
Which is quite reminiscent of "Ride of the Valkyries" arranged for organ, really.
this is just dope tbh
Okay, I know at the end of your descriptions you sign with -E, but without the dash the only thing I can think of is the E meme.
This is a great song btw, well done as always.

Im really surprised you went to college and studied music. I wasnt expecting that yet it explains so much. It explains everything really haha. You rock for a reason!!!!!! 😁 awesome video but seems redundant to say that everytime but its still the truth haha. \m/
I was looking for a rock version of this. How did I know you'd be the one to have it. 😂 🤘🏽
Wagner was the most metal composer \m/
This will forever remind me of the Mata Nui Online Game from BIONICLE... love it.
its perfect
I want to turn the volume up so bad.......but I am at work. Save for later! My car ride home will be epic!!
Thank for it. My fave RW work is the overture of Siegfried.
