I wanted to save some cash by doing this myself. Replacing the air filter and cabin filter on my 2019 Honda Civic sport. Super easy you can do it yourself! .
The music you heard is from Chinsaku Beats Развлечения
I just did this install thanks to your video! Saved me some money ! The dealerships be ripping ppl off
me 2. save me 70$ bucks. dealer over charge everything
Stealership wanted $160. They got me F up
Bro, yeah. Do that your self it’s so easy
I swear! I'm so glad I looked at this video
These mfkas got me F up to bro took my shit in for the warranty oil change because it’s free and they start talking about my rotors need to be replaced my fucken brake fluid, trans fluid 😂😂 and I just financed from them 6 months ago with 60k miles on the car these fools try and juice people literally robbing people😂🤦♂️
I love my dealership. They referred me to RUclips to do this myself 😅
I've seen a video for cabin filter, it takes 2 mins...i haven't done it yet
mine try to charge me 75$. I only purchas air filter 7$ and I will put it in myself. save 70$❤
Oh yes so glad to see you change the filter
Great job! Keep that air filter clean because that dirt eventually gets sucked into the
combustion chambers and can wear on the cylinder walls and piston rings. It's also
one good reason not to install totally exposed CAI cold air intakes on engines. Keep
up the great work and videos!
Thank you for sharing this video (: , because of you I learned how to change my air filter ✨
Thank you for sharing. I’ll be doing this in a few minutes 😂 I never trust those damn dealerships 🤦♀️
Update*very easy install. Did it myself and I’m proud.
And it was so easy, impress your friends and say “yeah I worked on the car this weekend.” 😝
Be very proud 👏👏👏 you work on your own shit🤝

Thank you and I did it today. I learned it from you. Thank you sir much Respect
Mr Lube here in Ontario wanted approx $115 for putting in those 2 filters. Bought the cabin air filter at Carquest for $18 and the engine filter at Canadian Tire for $19. Honda stealership as part of their oil change checkes your filters and ask if you want them replaced. If you say no, they put them back and no charge. If you said yes like I did for the cabin filter, they charge approx $35 for the filter and then gouge you another approx $35 for installation. Never again will I be gouged for these prices.
My 2019 Civic comes open entirely different. There are no clips.is this civic turbo charged
Wish you could’ve showed us how to reset the maintenance light as well. Cool video tho. Thanks for your help. 👍
Oh dang that’s a good comment, honestly not sure if we can do that without the computer scanner on these cars. But I can look into that for sure
Go to the menu on the dash board and find the logo that is an oil symbol. Press and holder ENTER for 10 seconds until the maintenance codes come up. Then select the "reset maintenance code" option and press enter.
My dealship wanted 45 for cabin and 55 for engine air filter
No more jiffy lube for me now I can save me some extra bucks 🎉
OMG A LEAF
Right? Lol
9.5k on my 2022 2.0 civic and is really dirty, shitty design from honda, never seen an air filter this dirty after less than 10k
Yes, keep it changed, You'll notice the air filter has a heavier air draw on one side
than the other and because of the shape you can't just turn it to get more life out of it.
I already place an order from rockauto, 3 filters for $20dlls, I probably replace the filter every 6 months, also the cabin filter is getting kind of dirty so I ordered one from amazon, thanks for the advice friend 🙂
My cabin filter was Leaf City in that mf. Thanks so much for this man.
😂 like how TF do the leaves even get there!
My pleasure
Where did you get the new one? At the dealer?
Yeah just from your local Honda dealer
@@realweston thanks man. I want to use OEM parts that's why
@@sonnyday6727 man thank you for watching the videos. Appreciate you. Just grateful my old dumb video was helpful 😁👍
@@realweston No, thank you bro. You helped me with the video. I'm having a little trouble removing the lid though.
Thanks I will try it out 🫶🏽
