It is so sad that many of today’s teenagers are defined by the smaller percentage of those who have given them such a bad name. These boys are an example of the goodness and sensitivity that so many youngsters possess and how great to see the media can focus on the positives rather than the constant negatives for a change.I’m sure there are thousands of teenagers who are unsung heroes.

My son took his own life in January 2024 aged 23. For these 2 boys to save someone's life is just the most amazing thing that anyone could ever do. They should be so proud of themselves and a credit to their families. To be able to prevent the pain that suicide causes is indescribable. I wouldn't wish this pain on anyone. i am so thankful that your courage and bravery saved someone's life and another mother and family does not have to suffer. Its truly admirable you are true heroes :) x

Me and my mate talked down/delayed a woman from jumping off Toys "R" Us carpark in Woking when we we're 14. Didn't even gets as much as a thanks. Anyway we weren't looking for recognition so it didn't matter just glad she survived another day. In my 30's now and i always wonder every now and again if she's still alive and happier than that day in Woking.

Great young lads who are blessed with having grown-up with naturally good common sense, thanks to their sensible and loving, warm backgrounds. Obviously a great influence on how they see real life. It's important that the terrific young people growing up today believe that they are the future. Put LOGIC and good natured hearts at the top of your list and at the very bottom put the so-called hip influencers and fake heroes. Bravo, boys! You're a credit and may you have luck, health and happiness wherever you go. Young people everywhere have great potential....just use common sense and logic. You'll go places in the end no matter what else is going on.

The man may attempt suicide later down the line and get no attention but let’s hope not. I hope he gets the help he needs though. Suicide isn’t talked about enough. It’s insane how one can suffer so much that the only solution they can see is to take their life, which that in itself takes considerable strength too. These boys need a Pride of Britain Award and they need it NOW.❤

Yes incredible to put themselves in that difficult vulnerable situation, such compassion and some times to devote your compassion can have such an impact to making incredible changes for someone who is in need of just maybe exactly that ,someone to listen , what a lovely pair they are , lovely characters to be a shoulder to lean on in a terrible moment, I hope the guy is ok and I can totally relate to anyone in that position, there is nothing wrong with people reaching out for hope of a terrible situation they find themselves in but trouble is today not always is someone there to make that difference in someone's life who is so desperate, sometimes it's just too late .
Some times help is kept from people and I would know all about that ,from years of abuse and no one was looking out for me.
You become so worn down by repeated circumstances that you loose hope in people as you feel like your just a number and many occasions your input or voice is ignored ,shocking when you realise people were never there to begin with if they were they would of done more instead of putting you right back in to the same circumstances for the abuse to start all over again .
Good work to those lads I hope life does right by you .
Hope the guy is in a better place and I would send him a virtual hug to say I feel for his pain 🙏 x

Not suggesting they've done the wrong thing but sometimes people suffer so much they need to be se free. If someone has a horrible and traumatic past and every waking moment of their life is full of unbearable depression and anxiety they should be allowed to set them self free. Only they will understand what it is like to feel completely helpless and worthless every day of their life. You may have 'saved' them today but what's to say they don't return back to a depressing and awful life full of suffering and mental torture when they could've ended it all and at least be at peace.
