‘My Son Saved My Life, With The Help Of A Delivery Driver' | This Morning

- When you place an Amazon order, you might not think about the person delivering the parcel, but for mum-of-three Elizabeth Crooks, her delivery man would end up saving her life. After experiencing a medical emergency, Elizabeth collapsed at her home in Northern Ireland, but thankfully her quick thinking son Aidan knew just what to do. The 6-year-old bravely ran out of the house, and found delivery driver Bryan who he asked to come and help his mum. The video doorbell footage of that heroic moment has since gone viral on social media, and a very proud Elizabeth joins us on the sofa alongside Aidan to share their story.

the fact that a 6 year old knows what "fainted" means, and was able to articulate it calmly. incredible stuff.
He NEEDS to know giving his mom's health issues. Might've happened before in his presence.
Mommy faints a lot after 4 or 6 drinks
Mommy trained her kid well
Maybe mum has a medical issue?
Have had more dramatic reactions from full blown adults when we turn up (ambulance) for their relative who feels faint
Amazon should be giving Bryan a big bonus, trip or something. The story was viral and it looked good that an Amazon driver didn't hesitate to help. I understand Aiden is featured, rightfully so, but Bryan deserves a lot of praise as well.
I work at Amazon, they don’t care, not even a handshake
They are going to fine him for wasting time
@@eddieotero7433 I was hoping that wasn't the case, but I guess I'm naive. Maybe someone else will notice him and give him a BETTER job.
@@shimshi2003 I'm guessing you're joking, but I'm sad they wouldn't do _something_ for him.
Yes
The way Aidan was so polite and Bryan also closed the gate too! Well done and hope Elizabeth is also okay
He took the package cool, kind, collected. And still helped his Mama. What a little cutie.
This man deserves to get a massive bonus from Amazon for this. He should totally be recognised by them for going above and beyond. Talk about customer service!!
You think Amzon cares about their employees 😂
Little boy warming my heart by just being a child. So cute .😂
Seeing how this boy acts here makes it all the more special how he acted on that day.
I thought that too. Bless him!
Right wiggly hyper little guy
Oh absolutely! He's just being silly with his stuffy, super distracted. But when his mom was in danger he really came through ❤
Bryan is a good Man. Help him to have a better life also. Congratulations to the little boy and Bryan, from Brasil.
Brilliant work all round..😊
Not all hero's wear a cape. You both are hero's.
You are a good son and because of your smartness your mama is still here❤❤❤❤
Aiden Is a real hero and Bryan isna real gentleman Both are amazing men and thats what we need in our future.
I’m so glad the delivery person got a nice reward💪👏👍
Well done young man and for the kind delivery driver for helping aww bless them
Aidan our hero! Well done! 👍
Well done to Bryan as well as Aiden. He deserves credit for helping Aiden and his family.
Kudos to the boy but also the delivery driver. He could have just as easily said he was busy and driven away.
I teach first aid and often have mums tell me that they don't want to stress their kids out with training, that adults will always be around to help them. I often then ask them to imagine a situation where they would need help themselves when home alone with the kids... Generally, the realisation kicks in sharpish ! I am yet to see a child stress out during a training day, they tend to love learning the skills ! Even if it's just how to call the emergency services, it can make all the difference.
Bring on the lifesavers ! This kid is brilliant and well done to his parents for teaching him :)
Aww anyone else get goosebumps when the doorbell went?
Well done Aidan and Bryan
What a fantastic little boy. He knew how to get help and the proper terms to use. And the delivery driver being kind enough to help total strangers out.
The boy kept on looking at him is so sweet
I watched the original coverage, and this little man/boy was so calm, calculated, and mature...YET today..he's just being THAT KID that kids just ARE.
The courier driver...well he's on another whole new level.
Due to listening to a kid whilst being in a hurry and then taking that EXTRA step to see for himself what was what ...speaks VOLUMES!!!!!!
my mom has epilepsy and i’ve found her several times in the middle of the night having a seizure. i can attest that i have absolutely gotten ptsd from that stress and fear, i still have an uncontrollable amount of fear of my mom going into a seizure and i’m not there to find her. i bet this young boy is scared for his mom’s health as well. i hope he’s doing okay though
I have a classmate in secondary school who suffers from seizures caused by epilepsy and the first day I saw it happened my soul left my body I thought she was dying. We all ran out to get her junior brother who was a junior and he just put a steel spoon in her mouth and confirmed to us that she’s epileptic that she will be fine. It happened serval times from that day but we still kept getting scared that she might die it’s just scary.
@@Trapohoncho whatever you do.. don't put stuff in the person's mouth they will choke!
@@leilazoric664 shut up!!. It’s stops them from swallowing their tongue
@@Trapohoncho No it doesn't! Coming from a nurse. Use Google for Christ's sake.
This is an aspect of life no one is ever willing to talk about. I'm chronically ill as well, but I chose not to have children for the most basic reason of the risk of passing on my illnesses to my children. But even without that risk, a child knowing their mother is ill, goes in and out of hospital, always a topic that's talked about, feared etc. That's just too cruel to put a child through to be honest. I'm so sorry you went through that yourself; wish you all the strength in the world.
Well done aiden and Brian - two heros
I have PoTS. It can be a nightmare. I always feel thankful when I have an episode at home (with no witnesses) but this puts that in a new perspective…
It makes me understand the moms vibes here too knowing how this situation can be. You can tell she seems a little anxious in the beginning, and I can't blame her. But it also helps bring awareness because if not I wouldn't of learned or this!
I’m so thankful that my health issues waited until my kids were old enough to help keep me safe. I’ve had Cluster Headaches for years and being blinded by pain in public with my kids has always terrified me. Now I’m diagnosed with PoTS too. My kids keep me on schedule drinking water and bringing me pickles as needed.
Thankfully PoTS isn't life threatening and can be managed with lifestyle changes and medications via consultants. I find crossing my legs or clenching my fists help.
Great job Aidan and Bryan ❤
Well done aiden and Brian....
Bless him he is so shy, it probably took him a lot of courage to speak to a stranger, but he knew he had to get out of his comfort zone in a time like this.
I hope they give medal to the boy for his presence of mind. Here in India, Government gives medal to such children who use their presence of mind for saving people.
They do bravery awards and Children’s awards, so it’s quite likely.
@@travelwell6049 that's very interesting to know. Thank you
Bryan such a good bloke😊
Amazing. Great driver and great son
amazing that the 6 yr old was so on the ball and asked if the delivery guy could help, definitely a hero of his mom. I would be so happy if more people could handle stuff like that so calmly like the 6yr old did.
This delivery driver is an angel, he kept the kids calm, he kept her calm. He's a star.
A real life super hero 😊
This made me cry, God bless them all❤❤❤❤❤❤
Little mans a hero 💪🏾
Saw this on a short yesterday - so lovely to see them all safe and well. Hero boy and delivery man ❤
This story restores a little of my faith in humanity. Still some good people out there.

Hero children and hero delivery man 👏
God’s time is perfect to send this man to help his mommy 🙏🏼♥️
Bless him the kiddo is so cute
Not only does a situation like this speak volumes about the kid and the driver, it also speaks volumes about the mother
My man went from 0 to 100 like g-unit without the hyphen. Good job to him and that little boy!
What a little man❤
What a beautiful family that little lad was. Very smart 😊
Such a smart boy, Aidan! You saved your mum.
Wouldn't mind the delivery man ❤ sweet!

what a good kid
We have the same birthday! So glad she’s alright and that she has such caring people around her and her family! ❤️💜
Good job Boy.🎉🎉🎉u are a Hero.
It's an awesome blessing when you gave birth to your superhero.😊😊😊😊😊😊😊
My father has Dementia, and POTS is also one of his main conditions that has developed alongside it, leading to several very bad falls, he would mentally freeze and just black out entirely . So I do not know how long it was going on for but POTS is typically not fatal thankfully but it can mess you up alot and is somewhat chronic and long lasting, but with right meds or changes things can improve.
Mad props to the young lad and Driver for helping her. Never undestimate kids willingness to learn and help others.
Uma benção esse menino.
wonderful story
This would've been such an adorable meet-cute!
What a good boy! Well done 😊
Sweet story. ❤
I am sending out my thoughts and prayers and love to this whole family ❤
I'm surprised that Amazon gave him time off to be on the show. 👍
Bet he won’t be paid for that time off. Amazon is Amazing
😂😂
@@natsayikunene3613 Amazon give you more holidays than most jobs tbf, and pay you a normal rate instead of holiday rate for said time off 🤷♀️
You also only work 4 days a week, so you get longer weekends anyway
@@timguillory6339I mean if they're willing to give disabled people an extra 45 mins of paid breaks, on top of the half hour you get already, I doubt they'd fire him for this delay which was obviously for a good reason
Such a clever child and lovely post man .
And they all lived happily ever after~
What a sweet little lad he is 😩
Great delivery man
Saw this video on tic tok. That little boy and delivery driver are amazing
These 2 are heroes!
Well done brian 🇱🇻🇮🇪
Love a happy story like this
Bless them ❤️
Thank you good people. We need more good reasonable people in this world.
Seen the video. It's amazing
Great lovely story/incident....God Bless !!!!
Good boy.
Anak manis yg pintar. Dan seorang pria besar yang baik hati. ❤
Reminds me, when I was 4 my dad and I were playing at our neighborhood park. He accidentally hit his head between the eyes and was bleeding and couldn’t see. I held his hand and guided him home (about a 5 min walk). This was before everyone had cell phones.
I saw the RUclips Short of this story and just had to see how it ended. What an AMAZING story!!! Glad that Elizabeth is okay and Brian knew what to do. Hope Little man got his tea. lol
Oh my gosh, he was just lovin' seeing himself on camera, that is so cute
Lovely video cute boy great derlivery man what a champ 💖💫🚛💫💖🎁🚛💫 💖💫
So sweet and so cool
Legends
Such a smart lad!
The ducked up thing. Other jobs at least would have given the rest of the day someone else would have been called in. Amazon laughs in your face. Ugh. Proud of him and the boy and momma too for teaching him young.
1:00 Little dude, is buzzing!
Sweet little guy
When I was like 12, my grandmother had hip surgery and passed out onto two kitchen chairs. When she came to, she started calling out for anybody who might hear her (in the house). I was half asleep, so I told her, "I have to get some better clothes on." At first, I didn't realize how serious it was. I had to call 911, and it was definitely scary. The little boy did a great job.
Totally forgot how beautiful this man is
i just saw this on reels and hard to look for the full story thank you
Well done aidan
The kid is hilarious making faces on tv 😂
Saw it online last week it was good, best bit was brians comment online to it "yes amazon haven't fired me, and these 2 are fine, thanks everyone" 😂
Imagine if amazon fired him
Jesus she could of gave him a hug
ALL JOBS SHOULD PROVIDE LIFE SAVING TRAINING no matter what because this proves you never know when you might need to know it when on shift (or even off)
Should be taught in schools😊
Amazon offers it but not many people take it tbf
@@robyntheslytherinnot to delivery drivers they don’t
I have svt luckily I've not passed out yet but it's horrible to live with and scary when it happens
Me too. Its scary
The anxiety that it can start any minute for me is the worst
