Sauna is a sacred philosophy place where you connect with the unconscious to solve the mysteries of life together with other sauna shamans through the beer ritual. Invaluable.
The reason the wait was so long is because Jari is absolutely mad. Yes, he released The Forest Seasons in 2017, but he went on tour for 2 whole years after that. Didn't work on anything until he came back late 2019. Then he rented a new place (that he bought and made into a semi-studio) and cleaned install everything to start writting fresh. Jari didn't just go into full Time II mode, he didn't even think it was possible to finish Time II by then. He started working on 4 other albums. So with Time II, that's 5 upcoming albums. It's when he worked on those 4 albums that he found sounds he really liked and tried them on Time II. One of these albums is 90% done, it was actually a toss-up between that one and Time II as to which would release first, but because we've been waiting for Time II for so long, he decided he could do it and he pushed through. The 10% left to do is mastering and mixing (which takes the longuest time-wise when making an album for Jari). That other album is the reason Jari isn't going on tour to support Time II. He's really excited about "album 5" and he wants to release that one to bulk-up Wintersun's discography. We might get this album in the next 2 years. Though who knows at this point. The other 3 albums are 50 to 70% done each. Future look bright but for all we know, it could still take 3-4 years per albums.
If the original plan with 3-4 campaigns would have stood, in order to build the Wintersun headquarters, I really doubt that we would have gotten Time II any sooner. I'm happy that he altered the plan and managed to finish Time II now. Of course the original goal to build the headquarters still stands but I care much less about that now that we get Time II. Sure, there could've been more albums in the meantime and I do love The Forest Seasons, but in the 13 years of time I've known the band and hearing the live recordings of The Way Of The Fire, this journey has always been about Time II. For me and for many fans. Besides, Jari wants to make highly complex music like the Time albums and not simple albums like TFS, so I totally understand that he's reluctant to make more albums in the vein of TFS.
as a long time fan since around 2012-13, by 2021 i was having my doubts, especially since seeing so many artists use the covid lockdown to their advantage to make and produce more music... i started getting too skeptical of jari ever doing another album, and honestly when i heard he finished time 2 my doubts disappeared. the problem with the wintersun time "scandal" has always been miscommunication or people not really understanding the full context of what's going on, or the vision of the artist and his modus operandi. seeing the success of the time package crowdfunding i didn't need to see that interview to know that jari is going to start a new chapter in the wintersun saga. while i don't want to put expectations on the man's shoulders, i look forward to seeing what music he's come up with since the time album was written around 2005-06... if you think about it, that's a lot of years of music playing in the man's head and not seeing the light of day. and we know for a fact that's true because the time package giving us 5 hours of demos says everything... he's had so much in the bag that he hasn't revealed cause his integrity as an artist compels him to only present it to the public when he's satisfied with it. in a way the memes and hate that he got motivated him to prove everyone wrong, and at the same time the support from loyal fans has kept him going. i'm super excited, can't wait to see the time package download email arrive, and i'm definitely waiting to see how the haters from across all those years will react. (really wanna see the metal meltdown stay true to his promise and eat that friggin shirt haha)
we only got the album because Jari realized he had became a joke in the metal scene and saw that people have really abandoned him. It s good he finally released it but excusing the need of a sauna and in general the need of a professional studio, or else he will not be able to make music, is simply ridiculous
Its not a need anymore than a bathtub or a shower, but they are incredibly common in almost every single building in Finland. Its not greedy for him to include a sauna

I agree with you. But I must say that Jari is a human and humans make mistakes. Hope that helps
Oh I absolutely agree for sure!

In finland you can't build anything without sauna. You know nothing
@@cr1ms0nnnn I ve been multiple times in Helsinki and have friends there. You know nothing if you think every finn needs a sauna or the use it daily.

You're the joke, beat it troll unless u have some good music yourself
