I wish stores like Sears still sent out catalogs. I used to love looking through store catalogs when I was little especially around the holidays looking at toys I wished I could get for Christmas
+BroccoliBeefed umm don't you think I know that? My mom used to buy from them which is why we got them. Once again I was a CHILD when we would get them in the mail so it's not like I had money to buy from them at the time so no need to be an ass. I'm pretty sure as an adult now I would buy from them if I got them in the mail since I don't like going to the store
Tyler's neighborhood Garage I Have the Spring / Summer 1967 Sears Catalog Love Looking through it all these years Later, I was 19 years old that spring.
I think its kinda sad that Sears doesn't sell "everything" anymore. They do, but they don't. I got to buy one of these catalogs sometime. I am kinda surprised I haven't seen any at thrift stores.
They used to sell motorcycles too, can't remember what flavour they were but they were pretty cool and unexpected from the Sears we have all learned to hate over the years.
Wow! My grandma has that exact set! I wonder why they didn't advertise for a main color PINK in carpet. As I recall those lamps are cool and people buy new ones now... NO NO, you stop just at the typewriters. Retro

OMG, What is with your comment? They didn't print them for entertainment, they printed them to make money.

Right. But looking through them was entertainment.
Tommy Truth yup
They still would if there was no Internet. As entertaining and useful as the internet is, it did irreversible damage to people and things.
Sears is an old fasioned store in an age of on line shoppers but always carried the best quality. No Chinese junk in old days.
This was a really cool look at this catalog. Thanks for posting
That book is thicker than the Minneapolis phone book!

If Sears didn't have it , you didn't need it....You could even buy a home to assemble from Sears back in the day....
When our living room was paneled we had a 70's ish pole lamp with glass globes.

And just think-----probably 95% of the merchandise in that catalog was made in the USA, as it should be.
