So did officially hear back from bitmain and the amount that rumored to be sold for the August batch is not accurate. We wont get any numbers , but i would still expect a big batch, but not to that extent.
It's going to be insane if it's anywhere near that 20k mark. Would also set a new precedent for future alt Asics also. Going to get real interesting Aug/sept
@@miningstacker 💯 I heard that number in RPM's livestream and almost did a spit-take lol Makes sense why there is no retail Bitmain KS5's available right now. All got sold to a massive farm
@@GreaterGoodMining so did hear back directly from bitmain, and they're saying it's false and they don't know where they got it from, so , still expecting a big batch , but may be not that big.
It's just depends on what happens with these forks and where the price action with them goes. It's likely we will continue to see more and can have a nice effect, when sdr was first coming, kas hashrate did have a nice reduction for a bit. But that is one good use case for the ks0 ultras, to spec and solo on these new forks as I'm sure there will be plenty more. Would be pretty nuts if one of them actually took off , as that would definitely be a game changer.
Wow I didn't realize there were other coins using the kHeavyhash algo. So are the pools set up to merge mine? Or do we have to choose one or the other?
Nice, yeah , people who bought at time of release are not having a good time. They are continuing to drop the price though , but the ks0's are still more appealing
Oh man, yeah have to be very careful with who you purchase from , always verify first. Depending on your country , just keep in mind customs/tariffs fees if they apply to you
Check their status , I like using helium geek app , highly recommended , but should be able to see the status and reason there. May not be getting heartbeats or an Internet/network issue. I would suggest rebooting them , check your connections /poe injector make sure that's all good
Personally I am not that concerned about the increase of the Kaspa network hashrate or emission schedule. We already have other Kheavyhash projects that we could pivot to that will allow for a constant yield with these Asic miners, enough to ensure decent network support. I think it puts more preasure on the Kaspa foundation to ensure ongoing profitabillity for the miners. If it becomes unprofitable to mine then miners will simply go else where. We have options
I mean taking out of consideration the hashrate increase Lol Ks0 Ultra with oc will probably be 600Gh safe oc 150 watts so really cool instead of buying 3 to get 1.2Th u can buy 2 and get 1.2Th which is nice still debating on buying a kaspa miner can’t justify it while buying 3070s for 180-200$ (without any risk of losing money when reselling) I have a total of 9 3070s now
Yeah, know that they changed some things with the firmware and apparently are harder to crack this time around , so who knows how long until they get it going. Yeah man, gpu's have remained pretty steady and haven't really gone down much and at that price you are definitely ahead
@@miningstacker Oh I see Yeah + I bought 2 full server cases for 150$ (crazy couldn’t find any for 2 + years ) so planning to buy 7 more to have 16 in total I just love gpu mining
It's monthly resuctions at least for now , won't reverse course until we go into that fomo mode , so as long as price stays sideways or dwindles down , going to keep seeing reductions as that profitability goes down as they are priced based purely on profitability. Once things reverse , then it will stop reducing , fiat profitability may go up, but yield will still be down significantly, which is why it's important to focus on yield and not the fiat profitability.
These Asic producers investing huge amounts to create these machines. They know people wont buy them if earnings of machines goes low right ? So basically they also invest millions on Kaspa network just like us and they wouldnt create such big batches otherwise. So when i consider all these things happening i feel same like ETH time. But personally i am also between buying Kaspa coin or its Asics cant really decide ^^
Yes, people will absolutely not buy them if they don't make sense and will have to lower prices, that'd definitely the struggle for them in the bear market , but when the bull hits , it's hard to keep these things in stock if they become as profitable as we hope. Yeah , that risk/reward gets harder and harder when determining buying vs buying hardware , especially during these times where it's primarily based on speculation.
Sounds like it's not getting speed tests , definitely do a full reboot , may want to reboot your entire network to eliminate issues. The speed tests happen randomly , but a reboot tends to trigger them faster. Try and confirm Internet connectivity on that Ethernet cable by plugging it into a device to confirm that it's not a cable/hardware issue . If you can confirm it's getting interest and 24 hrs later still no speed test , may have to open a ticket with helium
For the ks0 's yes, the bigger guys , it's definitely a race to ROI quickly or it never will because of the emissions/hashrate and the aggressive price reductions
@@powblockchainmining congrats! I'm kind of feeling the same way , need to really diversify , love kaspa and want to get as much as I can , but still a big chunk of my portfolio and need to spread out more. But it's just going to depend on price

Ordered 4 X KS0 Ultra's. For me mining on solar that 400 Gh/s @ 100 watts is perfect. Big ups to Iceriver for still considering the small home miner.
Nice! Congrats brotha !
I'm also going to try using the Ultras on solar, thumbs up. Hope you return to say how's it going.
@@CheekyMiner Be curious to see how that works.
Would it be worth it to mine with these solo, considering the hashrate is going to go belly up in aug/sep.
Not in my opinion , too late for that at least now to be really advantageous. When 10+bps comes may be worth doing
@@miningstacker When will that probably be?
@Jjjjjjjjjjjjj567 no real timeline just sometime this year , its in testnet so could be the next few months.
So much hashrate about to hit the network its crazy.

@miningstacker I wonder why Layla would mention that then.. hmmm... Wonder if they don't want people to know so they denied it
If profits for Kaspa sink too much, would it still be worth purchasing if we switch over to SDR mining?

Those Ultras are $239 now. Get them while you can.
i got 2 at the 350 price and 3 at the 239 price (with coupons). Thinking we should be able to overclock at least 50% would be 3TH. Ka box got murdered

I don't know how anyone can justify buying KAS miners anymore. The hashrate combined with the emission schedule is simply absurd.
It's definitely a complicated game , that's only getting more and more difficult by the month

These are a tool to DCA, not to ROI quickly honestly. I bought one to mess around with. I dont recommend buying 10 of them..

Hashrate is going to crap… soon kaspa is not worth mining
