Nested Triangles Stitch - Even Absolute Beginners Can Do This One! Super Easy with a One-Row Repeat

This stitch looks way more difficult than it is. In reality, this is about the easiest pattern there is. There are only two stitches: a chain stitch and a single crochet. Plus there is a one row repeat, so you don't have to memorize a complicated pattern, or keep checking what to do next.
It produces a fairly thick, reversible fabric, appropriate for blankets or motifs. It will also look great with variegated yarn.
