      Definitely, had a feeling you went Hoyt. Basically have the same setup I have for this year other than I have the 31. All same components. I will say you should be extremely happy, as It has been an amazing bow for me this year. The Rip TKOs have been bullets for me and super accurate. Hope you enjoy yours as much as I have. Getting a new set of ABB strings in the next few weeks as well. Keep up the great content!

    I just shot Joel from whitetail fits vtm 82lbs and that hbx pro cam felt like 70. Crazy nice cam system

    Going back to Hoyt from Pse. Went with the VTM 34 also. Great bow, quiet fast, and very solid!!!! Tim, you are gonna like a Hoyt!!

    Just picked up a VTM myself. First new bow in 15 year. I'm loving it so far. Love the content. I look forward to the video drops on Monday as well as the podcast. Keep it up!

    I have to say the side bar mount is my favorite part of my Hoyt. Also I can put my front stabilizer super low with that extra mounting option

      My last 3 bows were the Halon 7, vxr 31.5 and the V3 31. I’m totally blown away by the vtm 34. Every time I get thru with a practice session I just say WOW! It’s an awesome bow!! Also I shot 60 lbs with the Mathews. I’m shooting 65 lbs with the vtm . I kinda wished I got a 70 lber. Good luck hunting with it this year!!!

    MFJJ stated in the video that the pull feels a lot lighter than it is set at. What are you set at and does it feel easier than the Bowtech and Mathews?

      Similar to Bowtech, at least my gen 2 with medium cams.. feels a bit lighter than mathews

    I went with a VTM 31 this year. Never really cared for Hoyt after having a Faktor several years ago I couldn’t get along with. That new cam system is money and Josh Jones is correct on how it feels like it’s drawing less weight. Balances well and looking forward to getting a few whitetail here in LA (Lower Arkansas) with it.

    I've always shot Mathews bows, but man oh man that's a nice looking bow! Just love seeing people into archery and loving their equipment, regardless of the brand behind it 👍🏻

    You went from one tri-track cam design bow to one from another brand, huh?? I like what Hoyt did this year, but Bowtech is still my favorite brand. I do have a 2018 Quest Thrive that shoots lights-out, too!!! Keep on keeping on, Tim!!!!!

    Bro I actually switched to a Hoyt after 7 Springs TAC after my limb split on my 6 month old PSE Mach 34 and I haven’t looked back. I got the VTM31 bourbon.

    I shot the Helix Ultra when it came out and I loved it. I even rigged it as a target bow for a bit and it was great.

    I have shot Mathews since the days of the Outback. Last year I tried out the Rx7Ultra, and bought it on the spot. It just spoke to me, and I see myself shooting it for a very long time. Hoyt has great product, and I can fully recommend them!

    Great to see you are open to other exceptional bows. Let’s see an Elite / Era or Verdict. Mainly because the pro shop I support is what he is carrying but also they look like a great bow.

    Another solid video. That bow looks like it just doesn’t move after the shot. Just goes dead. Now, you gonna build more hunting arrows? Look at the Magnus Black Hornets w/bleeders. They are devastating and never fail to deploy lol.

    Mathew’s makes freaking fantastic products and they’re always innovative and I’ll forever respect that. Same could be said for Bowtech, Elite, PSE, Prime etc. that being said, I’m always kinda biased to Hoyt because I live in SLC and it’s hard for me to go any other way. So give us an honest review of your Hoyt after a few weeks.

    What a good looking bow!
    I shot hoyt for 20+ years, and won lots of trophies with them. Just decided to go with bowtech this year.

    I just recently got my first bow about a week ago. I tested that Hoyt. The phase 4 and the PSE fortis. Ended up getting the PSE. It felt way better to me. But I like they way the Hoyt’s look

    Hey Tim love the choice…. I feel like nobody on the shows ever picks the Hoyt and I live my ventum 33. I see you guys took the grip off that Hoyt and I wondered if I could buy it from you….     I actually like the stock strings on the Hoyt, I’ve had the VTM 34 for a few months now and they are still doing well. The tail on my top holeshot came/broke out too!!

    I would be shooting a RX7U if my local dealer could have got one in with any reasonable known ETA last year but Hoyt sh*t the bed with West Coast 🇨🇦retailers. - Smoothest draw cycle I’ve felt.

    Cool I just upgraded from my Hoyt Maxxis 31 to a new Hoyt nitrux I have just got it set up after a few hours it’s a great strong bow and I have to get it set up better and break it in as I have great trouble getting it drawn after adjusting the cams to setting A dam my short stature 😨

    Nice! I have been looking at the Reckoning 36 and the RX7U. My daughter just got a new Reckoning SD and has been killing it on the 3D range. Video was little out of focus there on a few frames, but good content. Keep it up Tim!

    hey tim awesome video are you using sight tape B or have you not done a sight tape yet? if you are using sight tape B that bow must be screaming im shooting a PSE Omen at 29.5 inches 480 grain arrows 29 inch draw at 296 fps and im on sight tape F running the sight as close to my bow as i can

    The VTM was the most "vanilla" bow I shot this year. Not bad, not great. The best I can describe is it felt "mushy". I really liked the Rx7 Ultra, but I can't drop that much coin on a bow right now. I honestly couldn't find a bow that felt better than my old SR6.

    Awesome bows. I went with the VTM 31 this year. Highly considered the 34 especially my DL being 29 it would've been top of the mod for awesome speeds. But the 31 just felt better to me, probably because I'm used to shorter ATA bows. can't go wrong with either though.

    Trade that 15” stab for a 10” stab on the lower position. It holds a 100 times better. That lower position is supposed to be the same as a 6” stab anyways. It’ll save you a lot of weight.

    Pretty close to elk season to be switching up. The hoyt is a sweet bow tho....I was really tied up between hoyt and matthews, the phase 4 won barely

    Does it matter what slot in the picatinny rail you mount the sight? In my head I would think the lowest one to get maximum distance.
