Getting started running is tough, especially when you're out of shape, but when you stick with it, damn. You're surprised you set such a good time while being out of shape. And you start wondering how good you'll do if you keep with it.
Just got a pair, will most likely get a couple more. This shoe is very balanced. No where near firm but not ridiculously mushy. Also easily looks the best of all the zoomX Pegasus shoes so far launch color is awesome
I agree the original looked the best and fit the best. Personally I wish they would make the stack height higher like 40mm and would be perfect but I live high stacks. Just my opinion
Never tried the turbo 1 & 2 and I agree with what you said, I find it’s actually quite a nice shoe. Definitely an upgrade over the regular pegasus. I also got this for $95 at the Nike outlet
I agree with the tongue fitment, my solution was to take a seam ripper and removed about half an inch of the seams closest to the top. It was exactly the right amount of increase of the opening such that my foot now slides in super easy. Best nike shoe I've had a in lonnnng time.
Was thinking to use scissors for a slight cut left and right on that tongue! Glad to hear your idea worked. Excited to get my shoe delivered next week to actually see what it’s all about. I have the Turbo35 from 2019. Love em.
@@AshtrayHDlate Nice yeah, in hindsight, I would only remove maybe 1/8" or 1/4" to start if you're running with them. 1/2" became pretty loose because I use this for casual use. I use other shoes for working out/running.
@@marcaquii It turns out the Turbo NN tongue doesnt bother me at all sliding in. I put one finger through the tongue handle, other 2 fingers on the heel cup entrance, and slide in perfectly. So far loving em!
Can we call Nike's "move to zero" a catastrophic failure? Increased prices for shoes made of inferior materials that are uncomfortable and less durable that come in a single box. How is it sustainable if the product breaks down faster and you end up having to buy another pair? That's worse for the environment. It's all a big scam.
@@falcongunner33 in general the move to zero apparel and shoes are priced at a premium. For example a normal Nike t-shirt is 25$-30$ whereas the move to zero shirts are 50$+.
I wore slides cuz i couldn’t find comfort as a barber on my feet all day. I saw your video in 2019 of the 1st of these and i too love them i have gone thru 2 of them. I want them to drop this shoe with all zoomx. I’m a casual wearer that love’s comfortable shoes, your channel literally changed the quality of my life cuz now i can be pain free while out being productive. I had 5 or 6 pair of the 1 and 1 pair of the 2. I really wish they’d bring it back but I don’t think they will since they’re so much better than anything else they sell.
I'm having some durability issues with my Invincibles (sole separation). Tried both these and Invincibles on foot, and while Invincibles are softer, theres also almost 1cm more of ZoomX under the foot, and they are borderline unstable. These are as soft as the previous Turbos honestly. So I'll be switching to these most likely. (I also like the look of these more than the clunk of Invincibles)
Never had the turbos or turbo 2’s and I’ve heard so many ppl disappointed with this new pair but I feel like because I never knew those sneakers maybe I’ll appreciate these.

I’m still rocking my Turbo 1s and 2s and I have DS pairs of each, because they’re just so damn great, even on my wide feet Honestly, I love the look of these, I just wish they held up to their predecessors
Started my Pegs collection with the 39. Added this to the line. I prefer the 39 over this one's cushioning but i'd take either 2 for a long walk. The flyknit upper is nice too
Got one last week here in the phils, having both the previous versions, this one doesnt feel like a turbo. The upper is thick and rough, and also heavy. The foam, while made of recycled zoomx doesnt feel like zoomx. Its denser, not soft at all. Im selling my pair right now at a loss. Should have tried it on first at the store and walk around a bit

Glad to hear you are starting to run. Take your time and do what ya can. Shoes look great on feet and probably a good workout and casual shoe. Nike should have dropped the turbo in and called it’s Pegasus Next Nature. Maybe ppl would diss it as much comparing to the OGs
I was so looking forward to these. I loved the Turbo 1. I got these and did two runs. These felt so noticeably narrow on foot. I got an awful blister on my right arch. I tried switching out the insole for my 2nd run hoping it would fix the issue, but I got a blister again. Super disappointed. I had to return my pair and swap for a peg 39 - much better shoe.
That Pegasus 35 Turbo (the first Turbo’s) is still one of my favorite shoes for running. Even though they are way above the normal mileage for a running shoe I still sometimes use them. The thin outsole is a negative and it seems even worse for that new model.
Not sure what people don’t like the shoe looks good it’s very comfortable and very springy and bouncy stable feeling…. I couldn’t ask for more from the shoe but then again I haven’t owned the two previous turbos so I have nothing to compare to
pegasus turbo 1 is my go-to running shoe. i love them so much i triple dipped on them. im excited that these have a more substantial outsoles instead of just just having rubber on the perimeter. these look a little more rugged. also keep in mind. if you run, you are a runner!

Just a heads up the carrier foam is that sor something foam it’s the same foam used in the joyride shoes. Also is it just me or do the upper on these remind anyone else of the new balance rebel v1. Great vid God bless

I love these shoes and how they fit. As a collector who also wears the shoes I think they are super comfortable and excellent looking. I do run but I didn't buy mine for running. I use Asics for running. I love the upper design especially as it reminds of the V2 Yeezy's which in my opinion are one of the best looking shoe designs ever made because of the design layout and colors. The foam looks fine on some and not as good on others. I own several pairs. Is there a way to remove yellowing that came on the foam?? I think it may be under what they use to seal the foam or just throughout the entire peice. I have a pair that has what looks a metallic silver marker spot on it or almost a dab of touch up car paint. The foam part is completely different on every pair. If I could shuffle through multiple pairs and pick the least stained I would. The only issue is the few colorways I don't like is exactly the colorways that are stocked locally by me at the Nike Outlet and Dicks Sporting Goods.

Like the review, but disagree with some points. Great shoe… run and casual. Looks amazing, fair price point. I think the Turbo name is why fans of the previous version don’t like this one. Performance wise, It’s heavier but more stable (Turbo 2 was a little flimsy for me). Foam is more firm, like a lighter and more bouncy React, but it is ZoomX. The firm is preferred by some runners, and I think ZoomX Leftover takes a little longer to break in. I like the ride. Basically, shoe is an upgraded Pegasus 39 (a great shoe), with more response, lighter/diet Invincible, with a little Beefier Streakfly in it. I agree the name Turbo should have been dropped, but it’s a great shoe for what it is. I use it for easy runs, tempo runs, and 10+ mile runs. It’s versatile. I’ve also been using casually. Great look, reminds me of a Yeezy turtle dove a little.
Next refers to it being recycled not updated. It's the same midsole with a crappier albeit more environmentally friendly upper. Not sure why anyone would expect this to be different
Nike we want long lasting comfy shoes! Recycled materials don't last as long and you lose any benefits of trying to be green. The turbo 1 and 2's were fantastic. This new shoe is awful.
I'll be honest with you Hes these look like a knock-off Skechers version of the originals. The originals looked really sleek and these look cheap and clunky, especially that toebox. I did have the heel split on me on one pair of the originals but that's because it got caught on a the edge of a wooden stair and all i did was use some shoe goo to fix it and they still fit and feel fine.

Those are pretty easy to get brand new. I’ve been on the hunt for some of his designed air maxes like the moto and the kantara.

Very disappointed with Nike. These shoes had potential but as soon as they started marketing how much recycled meterial they use, I knew they would be a let down. I will spend my money elsewhere.

The first pegusus turbo was amazing i bought 6😂 and bought the turbo 2, caused too much achillies injury’s. They just need to re-release the original.

This shoe is the Goat!! So comfortable, walking on a cloud!! Get so many compliment!! 10+++ puts all the other versions to shame !!

It’s impossible to get your feet in, even after loosening all the laces! Such a tight entry, I was hoping to get in and out the shoe quickly

ignorance is bliss! never tried the previous versions and i got these on sale. Love them! not as comfy as a nimbus 25, but very very good.
I've got pegasus turbo1 and i use them only for walking and they are way too soft for me. Maybe this one will be better option for me

The Nike Streakfly is a fantastic low profile zoomx shoe. particularly the prototype colorway! :)
This shoew as definitely for more faster paced runs, and much more stable than its predecessors. I got them for like $43 so can't complain too lol!

They should flip the label inside like adidas do on the foam runners. Most don’t keep the boxes these shoes come in anyway

first running shoe in a long time that caused me a heel blister. it takes some breaking in, the best part is the design but overall pretty unconfy

Rest and stretching is the most important part of running. Otherwise your legs and hips will be in serious pain.
Don’t give reviews on a hard core running shoe if you are bit a runner, they are not for running to the frig 😂😂

These look like they’re going to fall apart and split.
Very disappointed with Nike. These shoes had potential but as soon as they started marketing how much recycled meterial they use, I knew they would be a let down. I will spend my money elsewhere.

Highly anticipated and biggest letdown, smh! What was Nike thinking taking them away as a great product then bringing them back as a all around sneaker experiment gone bad. Nike shouldn't take a great sneaker and revamp it in just a wtf way; the Turbo Pegasus 1 was best, 2 was good, and 3 just has my feet yelling NOPE and my money saying Hoka or maybe the Novablast 3.
