I probably won’t own anything you talk about today but I still enjoy hearing you talk about it. I am on a strict budget right now. I haven’t bought anything in quite a while and have to watch every Penny I spend, but I still love watching your videos.
I own very few of the fragrances featured by Papa P, but I treat the channel like a University of Pong! I'd be more than happy to send some decants gratis as you're in a tight spot if you'd like to get in touch? Not sure how to send my details without making them public, but I'm sure we could find a way. Chin up buttercup!
@@ben1210 Thank you Ben, that is very kind of you. I may not own any of the fragrances featured by Papa P and I am on a strict budget, but I do have lots of fragrances as I have been collecting for a long time. However, ever since I lost my my job at the end of January, I have not been able to buy anything except for groceries, but I still have plenty of perfumes which I am enjoying. I just cannot buy anything new. Thank you for your offer. Much appreciated.
Great video, thanks! Especially for your words about the Harvest. "Ancient" rang a bell with me immediately, as somehow orange blossom+honey indeed does have this effect! I was having a difficult to describe feeling with Nicolai's Neroli Intense actually (strongly, strongly recommend) which has a strong beeswax note, and ancient and golden (serene, not royal) is quite a satisfactory description. Have a lovely day.
Nerolia Vetiver Harvest was my intro to the Guerlain house. It is so, so, so good. I actually selected it over the EDT just due to the added complexity. The dirt of the honey and the grounding of the vetiver compliment the sweetness so well. I've been wanting Forte but don't want to blind buy and not sure where to test locally in the US.
Oh, thank you so much, I so wanted a side by side of the three. I learnt recently by reading one of her books that Mathilde Laurent created an Aqua Allegoria as an homage to Nahema, it is Rosa Magnifica and luckily I have a bottle, I had acquired a few older AA several years back, it is very lovely, a Nahema 'lite'. I've just liked the video, may I say it's great to have you back.
Thank you for this excellent review. I haven't yet tried the original and the Forte version, but I certainly will. Without knowing about the other two I recently bought the Harvest version and I think it's absolutely gorgeous. It has a summer vibe, fresh and sparkling from the citrus and hint of vetiver, added an uplifting orange flower abundance. However, after lots of spraying and testing, it came to me as the perfect scent for a rainy day, as fitting for rainy weather in spring, summer or fall.
Thanks for reviewing these! I got a sample of the Neroli Vetiver Harvest and it’s really very nice. I’m not sure whether I will be buying it at any point in the future as too many other fragrances have been bought lately already and others are in the queue. However, I’m very glad to have smelled this. I’ve been comparing with Shocking by Schiaparelli today of which I have a tiny bottle. Very different obviously but I just adore that honey. I wouldn’t have smelled this if it wasn’t for you as I didn’t really enjoy the original very much to be honest and I would have been sorry to have missed this one.
I made the mistake of spraying the rose version on my collar. I diden't expect the knock out sweet monster out of a AA Guerlain bottle! Gave me a headacke and I was very self awear I was chocking out the ppl next to me in the train home 😅 It smelled very similar to the CH good girl flanker in red. Canned Litschi sirup and a rose drowning in it 🙈
I smelled the harvest one recently for the first time, and on the spot, the slightly powdery and animalic background (most probably their beeswax note)immediately reminded me of Zoologist, either their Moth or Bee. Very interesting one by Guerlain, not what I'd usually expect from them.
I loveeeeeeee your content and how you talk about perfumes (I watched a bunch of your videos already), and to think I only stumbled upon your channel yesterday cause I took an interest in coromandel seems like such a shame but nonetheless I feel blessed finding your channel, hopefully I’d catch one of your livestreams soon. Cheers and love from Toronto ❤
Too much vetiver for my liking in the forte (leans a little bit more masculine imo)... I chose the harvest version, love this wonderful natural (and quite unusual) honey note.

That's fine, Phyllis. There's never any pressure to buy from my side. It's always wonderful seeing your comments.

Thanks for watching. Yes, there is something primordial about honey.

Ah, I’m so pleased you like the Harvest too.
Many thanks for watching.

Thank you so much, Aurora. And I didn't know that about RM.
Appreciate the impressions! Nerolia Vetiver always reminded of a milder version of Penhaligon's Cousin Matthew. Both lovely scents for the spring. 🌿
Thanks very much.

The Harvest really seems to be winning lots of fans.
Thanks for watching.

I’m very pleased to read this. Thanks, Natalie.
Nerolia Vetiver harvest is fantastic ❤
I’m certainly impressed with it so far.

Oh dear… I hope the others appreciated the scent.

Yes, it’s certainly unexpected for an AA.
Many thanks for watching.

Thanks very much for your kind words. I hope you enjoy the other videos.
@@Persolaise you’re very welcome and I’m so far loving everything I’m watching on your channel. Stay great ❤️

The harvest is very special, isn't it.
Many thanks for watching.
I love harvest the most 🎉 very natural smelling floral honey
Yes, it’s very compelling.
The last Aqua Allegoria I bought was Flora Cherrysia and it was somewhat disappointing.
Ah, that's a shame.
The Forte mostly gives me fig
Ah, interesting. Thanks for watching.
Can men wear nerolia harvest?
Absolutely.
@@Persolaise thanks so much ❤️ was worried the honey and floral might be too much
If I owned a perfume company I would innovate and abolish romantic press releases
Ha! Maybe then we’d all miss romantic press releases.
