Thank you for this in-depth review! I love this line 🤍 Much love Emma ❤️ I've always loved smelling good, but your top 4 perfumes tiktok video is actually what introduced me to the world of perfume, and I have a small little collection of my own now that I love so so much ❤
Angelica is a vasodilator and relative to poison hemlock and Queen Anne's lace. It is an ancient apothecary ingredient. The fragrance is lovely in Angelique Noir, and I find it makes me smile when I wear it in winter because it is a whiff of spring. You see this as a spring scent because of the green and fresh Angelica. Most reviewers see it as a Christmas scent because of the creamy winter perfume notes with the greeness like a Christmas tree in a room near a dessert baking in the oven.
So glad I found this video! My new fave perfume reviewer and a line I'm looking at getting into, have a 10ml of tobacco honey on the way and I'm so beyond excited
I LOVED your video 🥰🥰🥰 Angelique Noire is easily the best fragrance I've ever smelled... Cuir Beluga is also fantastic and I totally agree that Double Vanille is not that big of a deal, super acid I don't love it
Thanks for your reassurance on the epice volees. I just bought it as a gift for a man and I've been in shock ever since...couldn't believe I spent sooo much money on this. I picked this because it felt familiarly masculine..probably the most masculine one in this line. But after seeing your review, I feel better now 😌 22:07
Thank you very much for your review! I was so excited and blind to buy the rose cherie one, that your review broke me down a bit and I am open to read more about the others. 😂
Before I bought Tonka imperiale, i was deciding between neroli outrenoir vs Tonka... then i smelled angelique Noir and it was ❤ at first sniff. I got d same feeling when i smelled poets of Berlin with all its naturally sweet fresh green. All 3 are my top favorite. Im just so attracted to Tonka imperiale even though my boyfriend commented it had pharmacy vibe in it. After drydown, he loved it. Its complicated scents happening that makes me smile and happy. Have u tried Eau de Coton? I immediatelt fall in love with it too.
Gourmand Coquin , ordered from Europe and it's so gorgeous 💝💝, why they would discontinue is beyond me.... Jasmin Bonheur is really pretty , Oud Khol , I think I would like that on a man , nothing fem about it imo.... Angelique Noire, at 1st spray I feel like I sprayed a tree on me it's so green , I prefer SDV but ....performance..... natural ingredients 💕 quality💕
@@ceceliamoreno1845 GC is special , love the scent , not something I crave in warmer weather , looking forward to pulling it back out in the cooler months 😍
I am a Flower by Kenzo fan, and when i smelled Angelique Noire, it reminded me of the Flower. And does every time. Maybe it's just me. But obviously i love it.
I've been wearing Double Vanille for a long time and I've never felt it smelled like pizza. It's really far far away from pizza. I wonder how can it happen???
A very expensive perfume smells like milk, electronics, and "something sour" (????) This is the description of the second or third guerlain perfume in this review. I am sure that I don't want to smell like "electronics". And with reference to the first perfume of this review, I do not want to smell like "bread". So I am grateful for this video and for this review.
More you smell this tipe or parfumes more you will like it, it's necessary to train your nose . More you smell more you will understand those luxe parfumes!
Im really late to yhis video and I've never tried double spiriteuse vanille but i got that tomato paste snell from another fragrance that people love and that is called studied by liis.. i should love it but its tomato paste and i dont get it !
Honestly, where the hell does this hatred towards the word oriental come from? It's not a dirty or derogatory word. It just means "from the orient" a.k.a. "from the east". There is no other meaning to it and it's not pejorative in any way. Also, amber is not a family, it's an accord made of the notes of vanilla, benzoin and labdanum. It's perfectly possible to vreat an oriental perfume that doesn't contain amber. Not to mention the word amber is already confusing enough between amber the resin, amber the accord, ambergris, amberwood,... There's absolutely no need to now use it to rename the traditional family of orientals and I'm very happy that Guerlain kept it that way.
You should read into Orientalism by Edward Said, a Palestinian man who led modern thought on orientalism. I lean on my education on this topic from BIPOC professors and listen to my BIPOC followers who have expressed discontent with the word.
Are you from the global South? Did you read Orientalism by Edward Said? Have you educated yourself on why Orientalism is problematic particularly when it comes to the representation and portrayal of people from the global South? Specifically Africa, the Middle East and Asia? People from Europe or North America wouldn’t know why Orientalism or the Orient as terms or concepts is troubling because they were never othered in the same way the communities I’ve mentioned previously are. Orientalism goes hand in hand with colonialism and imperialism and its wretched history with regard to the pain and destruction that it inflicted on people who were colonized.
It's not a slur necessarily but it's not specific enough to actually mean anything. What is meant by "the east" when it comes to scents? Where is the east, you know? India? Saudi? Japan? Samoa? Afghanistan? These are such diverse natural environments with totally different plant life, and totally different cultures, but they're all "Eastern" by our current standards. If you mean "oud" or "incense" then just say that, right? Secondly the use of the word Orient is outdated. It harkens back to a time when anywhere outside Europe and North America was considered exotic, wild, uncivilized by white standards, and riddled with human vice that SURELY couldn't exist in white Victorian society (please read this with a sarcastic tone!) Thirdly, Asian people don't appreciate being referred to as Oriental these days and it harms nobody to respect their preference in other contexts.
Oh, Angelique Noir is my fave. Agree CB is pretty but it dissipates too quickly for this price-point. I’ve been pondering SDV for a while; want to test again & wait for cooler weather. Hope to compare it to Vanilla Planifolia, with its even worse Guerlain pricing, before picking one. (Never gotten “pizza” thanks goodness! The experience of fragrance is so interesting.) I really liked Herbes Troublantes but don’t feel it’s value for money. Now I’m curious about Eau de Lingerie & Oud Nude!
Ur my comfort person pls keep making videos 🥺
I will!!

You did a great job reviewing them 😍 Loved the stories behind them!
Thank you so much! It can be hard to find the words for 20+ fragrances but I tried my best!❤

My top three….and yes, I’m obsessed. Double Vanilla, Angelique Noir and Oud Nude….. I also wear Little black Dress and L’instant.

Holt Renfrew! I’m not sure if they’re still there
I would love to find a EDP fragrance that smells exactly like the white tea aloe line from the Westin hotels. It is so beautiful!
I've been wearing Double Vanille for a long time and I've never felt it smelled like pizza. It's really far far away from pizza. I wonder how can it happen???
Which one would you recommend when you love leathery notes, spices mixed with a hint of flowers? Sensual mysterious?
My favorite is Eau De Lingerie.
14:57 I LITERALLY just watched 15 minutes of this video because I was curious what she had to say SPECIFICALLY about santal pao rosa…. 💀
Is it Bad?
