My neighbor has a little Kioti CK20. He has had it for about 15 years. The only problem he has ever had was a broke axle but he told me that was his fault for overloading his bucket with rock. He wore out from use his toggle control arm. He has replaced both of those and used his tractor all the time. They are very impressive machines. I have a John Deere 1025R but would love to have a Kioti CK35.
4-WD does make a difference, nice job with such a little tractor with not much weight to it. It shows determination with what you have at hand makes all the difference.
Great video young man!! That's great that the kioti will do the work. Looks really good you did a fine job. I just bought a new ck3520se shuttle shift 7-26-2024 so far I love the tractor. I traded 2020 mahindra 1626 in on it the was a tough tractor but the kioti is in a different league has lot more room and amazing power and loader lift. Thanks for sharing be safe have fun enjoy.
I had three point rack made and mounted a 55 gal barrel filled with water on my 2510 Kioti. Great video, and the Kioti tractors do work very well............Ken
I enjoyed the video; thanks for sharing it. It's always good to find real working compact tractors to watch while I'm waiting on delivery of mine. Only thing is, for future viewers, never let your kids in a dry trench or pond. I've seen plenty of videos of collapsed dirt walls. THose buried are dead before even the equipment can get them out.
Enjoyed the video!.....a friend of mine dug a pond out and was having trouble getting it to hold water. He fenced some hogs in around the pond temporarily . Some how just having them down in there rooting around worked. It holds water fine now.
Great job. We got the same model a few months ago. We got the tooth bar, filled tires, and the 5 foot tiller. I'll tell ya that tooth bar makes digging 100% easier. Good luck with it.
Should have wheel weights or ballast fluid. Even a box blade or a scoop full of dirt on the rear would make a huge improvement in production and safety. Nice pond, though and fun to watch video. Reminds me of my uncle building a pond in the 50's with his 8N and fotd loader and rear scoop. Bet he'd loved to use your rig back then!
I just got a kioti ck27 and love it so far (my first tractor). I was wondering about digging a small pond with it. Thanks for the inspiration! Looks awesome and fun. I wish I was on my tractor now.
I hope my pond goes as well. I bought a Kubota L3200 just for making a pond. Didn't get a backhoe this year. Since we are in a drought year I am hoping to get it done without burying it. I will do a video so you can laugh a bit at my troubles.
Awesome video man! I really enjoyed. I just bought a new John Deere 1025R last week with H120 loader. Been raining cats and dogs ever since and I've only gotten 3 hours on it. Driving me crazy with all the ideas and plans I have for it. Working on a pond was one of them and your video proves it can be done ( although your kioti is slightly larger than my 1025R). Can't wait to " dig in" ! For all the other commenters....John Deere tractors have several American plants. JD makes scut and compact tractors at the Augusta Georgia plant. Kubotas come from South Carolina. Never understood bashing another mans tractor
I have the CK20S too, and I have the tires 'loaded ' and it sure makes a difference to traction and tractive effort too. These Kioti's with HST and 22 H.P. engine are really impressive. You've done a good job with this one, Mario. Now all you have to buy next is the back hoe attachment, ( there's a good way to 'ballast' this tractor ) Nice video !
I'm digging a small pond at the moment by hand and Jackhammer. My Folks have a CK30 with a backhoe. I'm sure missing it atm. But it wouldn't cut through the rock anyway so painstakingly looking for the weathered fractures and exploiting them.
I didn't (and still don't) have a tooth-bar for this dig... I actually bought some bolt-on teeth since then, but I haven't installed them yet. My only concern would be the size/power of this class of tractor --- I can forsee limitations on digging power with a tooth bar, depending on what you sink the bucket into.
The best ballast is a box blade and it comes in handy for what you're doing with the loader. No trying to be a smart @#$ but always wear a seat belt on a tractor with a rops. Great bid.
Those songs are hilarious.....my dog slept with my wife then he drove off in my pickup with my deer head in the back...chew tobacco, chew tobacco, chew tobacco spit
Jc how much did the tractor and loader cost and would you recommend it for light chores also how much does it weigh thanks btw I'm in the process of building a small pond I got some ideas from your vid
You would have put a lot less strain on your tractor's front axle, had you maintained ballast on the Three Point Hitch. Its fun lifting the rear wheels, but not safe and VERY HARD ON FRONT AXLE AND WHEEL BEARINGS.
Quick questions... How did the pond turn out? Any problems? Finish photos? I'm getting ready to start the same project with the same tractor although I'll be damming up a valley backing up about 2 acres of water. My intent is to build a dam that will end up about 20 feet high and wide enough at the top to drive a vehicle across. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance.
You were just lucky it did not tip over. Even with the calcium in the tires and weights on the front I've seen 'em tip over or worse, flip over backwards.
I thought about doing something like this in my back yard, but I always wondered....what keeps the pond water from saturating/leeching back out into the ground?
+ManitobaScott I'll bet that ain't cheap for a large pond.I know people have dug them without liners. My cousin went out to his back property and dug one,it wouldn't hold water. He moved to the right a couplle hundred yards, dug again, and all was fine?!?I live about 100 miles NE of him,and my whole property is damned Gumbo,as I'm about 3mi from the Mississippi River.I was thinking it may hold water, but then again in summer,my yard gets cracks up to 4 inches wide, and over 6FEET deep!
awesome vide man. how's the tractor hold up now? any issues? my case1130 is on its last leg, i'm think about getting the new Kioti CK2510(the successor of your CK20s) for my next tractor.
I really like my Kioti but the injector pump went out and had it fixed and now its out again and come to find out a VERY high percentage of their pumps fail and at it gets extremely expensive!!! They really should have recalled them and replaced them free of charge since they are junk.
His band page is 25centbeerbandDOTcom , but I'm not sure if they have a link to where to get the CD. If you're interested in one, I can get one for you - I'll do $12 shipped (continental USA). Paypal me the money to popo2239@gmailDOTcom and make sure to leave your address in the "remarks" section. Be sure to choose "gift" as a payment form, otherwise Paypal takes their fee out of it :-( . He's coming over next week, so I'll have one then if you want one. Thanks
Nice buying a foreign made POS tractor, ever consider your neighbors job might depend on you buying something that resembles American or atleast North American made?? the "daedong" diesel?? are you kidding me! Wait til something breaks and you have to wait 6 weeks for them to get parts from "wherever" the hell this thing was built..
Please tell me a Brand that is made in the USA. in this size?.. There are none. and that includes such traditional brands as John Deere, Massey Ferguson, and New Holland.. Al CUT and SCUT tractors are made overseas. YOU need to do a little research before shooting off your mouth. Daedong is a major player in this market segment. I happen to own one also, but about twice that size. They are well represented by local dealers, with parts stocks. The "wherever that thing was built" is Korea. I hope you will accept this information in the way it was entended, to enlighten you and others. James K0UA
NOT nice to talk about someone else's equipment like that. My case tractor has a mitsubishi engine. Massey ferguson compact trators got Iseki engines in them and John deere's got Yanmar engines. those a all tradition American brands. Kioti makes one solid tractor.
Finally a video that will show me the true capabilities if the 25 hp tractors. Thanks. I am impressed.

This is the best compact with loader video on youtube , im buying the JD1026r in march and cant wait to make a pond like this ,
not only thanks for showing what this tracktor can actually do! and also for bring in steve armstrong into my life!!!!

Yeah, has a foot-lever for your left foot.. it engages when you push it down, and disengages right away when you let it go. Works fantastic.
Once you start, it's hard to stop. Nice video

We have a kioti here on the farm it's a 45 hp 4wd hydro I love it can't beat it
Impressive for a Compact.... That's some hard work for it no doubt.
Good video. You really gave the tractor a workout and it performed well.
I agree with you about the box-blade... great ballast. Good for you on wearing a seatbelt on your tractor. That's all I'll say about that.

That is awesome!!! Makes me want to do it too!
That is real cool, it is also reason number 3 to not buy used tractors lol
Will Scrudato What did he do here that was so bad? Tractors is one thing you should buy used.
@@Perish1 You mean tractors arent just stylish lawn furniture?

That's a cute tractor. I bet it took a while to dig that.
Damn good job! Can't wait to see it full
Really awesome job! could this of been possible without the tooth bar?
Cool video! I'd like to see a finished product. Good music too! Steve and Denise are my neighbors. Curious, are you from the mid Michigan area?
That tractor works really good I'm surprised
well this is a coincidence lol I just come across this video while taking a break from digging a fish pond with my Kioti ck3510
It's filling up pretty good... I put a link in the description, there's pics at that link.

How does it look filled up?
where did you get the song? cant seem to find it.
You were just lucky it did not tip over. Even with the calcium in the tires and weights on the front I've seen 'em tip over or worse, flip over backwards.
Thanks for video!
How many quartic yards displaced per hour passed?
I thought about doing something like this in my back yard, but I always wondered....what keeps the pond water from saturating/leeching back out into the ground?
+Bowtie41 get a pond liner!!!!!!!

I just bought a CK2510. Great digger (backhoe) bad dealer prep 8-(
dennis dunne what happened, was the tractor not setup properly at the dealership? btw how much did you pay for yours?
I really like my Kioti but the injector pump went out and had it fixed and now its out again and come to find out a VERY high percentage of their pumps fail and at it gets extremely expensive!!! They really should have recalled them and replaced them free of charge since they are junk.

No fines from the epa? We wanted to put one in on our farm. .. I guess it is a big no no

Nice ! But kubotas better :)
Kubota is a great tractor, but you get less for the $$$$. Paying for the reputation.
Ok video music really sucked though.
