  • This video shows the build of our 32' x 16' (500 sf) CEB storage building in San Antonio, TX. This build took 3 people 20 work days (about 480 man-hours) to complete, including producing the 1,600 10"x14"x3.5" compressed earth blocks (about 60,000 lbs. of block!). We used a rubble-trench foundation for this build...the total cost for the foundation and walls (material and labor) was about $14,000.

NICE! The 14k was just for the structure walls & foundation, not the roof and bond beam, correct?
What roof would you put on and then what do you estimate the total cost would be if you put on the roof, the storage doors, etc..?
Also, what was that you were coating on the concrete edges before starting the walls?

How much was the cost of just the materials?
