Great video, thank you for sharing. Watched you on "Building Of The Grid". I was wondering what would be the approximate estimated cost to build a 4-5 foot wall that would cover 40 acres of land in midwestern U.S.? Thank you in advance.☺

Bodhi's World that’s an ambitious project, but it would be very cool. The perimeter of your 40 acres is probably about a mile. You could use our 10” x 14” x 3.5” blocks...it would take about 60,000 of these blocks to build a 10” wide, 4’ tall wall around the 40 acres. The least expensive route would be to buy one of our 3500 machines, then you could build the blocks for about 20 cents each (the cost of Portland cement) assuming you’re doing it yourself and getting the dirt from your own site.

Ryan, did you ever add polystyrene pellets into the mix to test r-value, weight and performance metrics?

"Inexpensive" earth blocks after you buy the machine, a backhoe or tractor, and pay 4 or more other people to help with the process....

You don’t have to buy a machine/backhoe/tractor as the blocks can be purchased and delivered to site. The point is that dirts is cheap and possibly even free. Even if you bought a sawmill and a kiln, lumber still wouldn’t be free or cheap and would require a lot of labor. This doesn’t even begin to consider the required tyvek, siding, drywall etc. the only point we are trying to make is that this is an environmentally friendly, healthy and inexpensive way to build. It definitely takes hard work. Most worthwhile things in life do.
