Does anyone know a video where someone does an autofocus test through the viewfinder with this lens? I just want to see how fast the autofocus is.

Yes and yes - just keep in mind that this is a FF lens so you are not taking advantage of its full potential - but you can still capture fantastic images with it on the D500.

Didn't try it myself but I believe so. I do recommend you get and newer camera though to take full advantage of this high quality (and expensive) piece of glass.

dear sir, why would i get this lens a that price, if i can get the 70-200m f2.8 cheaper with the f2.8 and get a tc17 and get 340mm that actually 340 to 400mm is not a dig thing... what do you think about that?
You can do that - we didn't test the results but the 1.7x teleconverter reduces IQ quite a bit.
Buying the new 300mm f/4 with a 1.4x teleconverter seems much more logical - and much smaller (and a bit cheaper).
I did that and I would recomend buying this lens. Th AF suffers too much with the TC. Although images are decently sharp

That is a very old video (2013). We probably used the D7100 back than. Not sure what you mean by adjusting sharpness.
Lensvid Adjusting sharpness means you added more sharpness to the photo in post processing

It should although if you buy a 2K+ lens I would suggest getting a better camera (the AF of the D5000 is very limited by today's standards).
Lensvid, yes it is, its my starter camera. i found a great deal online (of this lense) and i think if i purchase it at the low price that i can later on purchase a more advanced dslr later on.

Sure, why not - it has a ultrasonic motor.
It will look a bit silly - its a huge lens and its a tiny camera - but otherwise - no problem.

An absolutely horrible review. If your not sure how many stops over it has, shoot it with your camera to find out. You are reviewing the lens.
There was nothing I learned from watching this video I couldn't already figure out or know from previous zoom lens.
People needed you to go out and test the lens for a review. D- at best
