Great challenge video. I think if you could move your target stand out from the shadow of that tree into the open sunlight, it would make for a more consistent target for all to shoot. Just sayin...

haha I put a recoil pad on the Oryx too, it's such a firm chassis that it can HURT haha
I'm shooting 300PRC out of it, great budget chassis, I hear the short action has a polymer trigger guard, but my long action came with aluminum

Wow Bobby shot insane…. He even had a shot I thought he slapped the trigger but it was still a laser beam!!!!!
Thank you! I shot a lot of ar15 that would double fire if I held the trigger down and developed that bad habit. So as soon as the shot breaks, I let up. 🤷🏻♂️

As a person who shoots rimfire but not centerfire, I think it’d be very interesting to get some new to centerfire shooters (or never shot centerfire) and do this with them. I’d be interested in trying it for sure, but like most new to centerfire shooters…some of us don’t have rifles 😢.

If it comes to donating the money. Id recommend FPC- Firearms Policy Coalition or CRPA- California Rifle and Pistol Association. These guys are responsible for actually winning court cases against the state government unlike NRA. You might be thinking.. why donate to a california based organization? The answer is because gun control starts here and then it moves to your “free state”, if we can fight it and defeat it here you guys never have to deal with it. I call that a win win.

I'm an apprentice welder in my 30's my boss who is about 10 years my junior and is well and truly a master craftsman says to me almost every week "It's not about being the part, as long as you look the part. All the gear and no I-Dear!!" Cracks me up every time.

We’re starting our own modified version of blackjack at my local sportsman’s club up here in Maine in the spring but we can only shoot to 300 so we made the targets a little smaller I’ll try sending you a video when we get started 😊

Is your bolt closing hard or am I just seeing stuff? I am sure it’s intentional, just curious what you are doing to make it close hard.
The pre-fit barrel with barrel nut was fitted slightly too tight. I need to loosen it. Ammo was loaded for the other rifle.

Eric this just gets better Jason on the grid , Jim Borden believe the target . This looks tuffer than it looks today . The last Blackjack you showed us the picture threw your scope and it looked terrible from my view. Didn’t think that was a good plug for Kales scopes.
lol, it was not the scope, it was the glare picked up by the camera on the scope.

I still don’t get why y’all don’t repaint between rounds. Obviously these guys know their way around their weapon systems and range safety. It would take two minutes to take a truck, SxS, quad, or dirt bike down there, spray and return.
It just doesn’t seem right to ask a shooter fourth or fifth in line to spot their shots when there are already so many hits on each plate. Seems lazy to me.

Also you need to drop some knowledge on them boys at Hornaday.. I’m sure you’ve heard of there podcast saying that tuner’s have little to o effect 🤦🏻 I don’t understand how they can’t see a tuner’s effect on the barrel 🤷🏻♂️

They are allowed. Sun was right in our eyes.
