Wonderful comment. I truly believe this is one of the greatest things Oprah has done. No matter how many times I watch this it still makes me cry buckets because I feel the love and importance of that moment and what each woman there means to everyone. I can just imagine how incredible it must have been to have actually been standing in that room at that moment. I would have used up a few rolls of tissue paper. Lol 😅😅😅😅😅😅. I just love this Oprah special. She out did herself here.❤

I am so crying right now; my mother is not a legend and she is not famous but she is so deserving of such an honor. I thank God for her vibrant spirit even in her 80s. I imagine her sitting in that audience because she deserves to be honored for all the love she has given and shown to me and my three sisters, her selfless sacrifices through the years, her unending support and the many trials and hardships that she has endured through the years and her unwavering faith in Jesus Christ our Lord and Saviour, sustainer of us all. We are blessed to have a mother so beautiful in mind, body and spirit. "And her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren shall call her blessed". I'm a white girl ... And not even from America... New Zealand in fact so as far away as you can get across the sea. .. But I know of almost all of these Legends....they are Amazing Women who are famous Worldwide. I love Tina Turner esp, Della Reese (the swing era) amazing, n know body can out sing Patti LaBelle...Dion Warwick's sweet soft sounds...Cicely Tyson what an actress ..and Rosa Parks bravery... I love what Oprah did for them and I found it incredibly moving. I'm glad it was done whilst so many of them were alive to realise how respected n loved they are. ❤💙💜💛💚💖

I believe in peace, love and forgiveness. This is really beautiful. I love Tina Turner, Patti Labelle , Aretha Franklin, and Diana Ross. Those five women are my favorite. My other favorites are Sandi Patty and Twilia Paris.

Gio Garcia the legends started working between the 30's-60's her career didn't start til very late 70's- early 80's under Oprah's definition she is a youngin

Cortni Kirk I still feel in that time frame she is still a legend to me. I'm almost 50 years old and she's old enough to be my mother. Phylicia has accomplished a lot within these decades on and off scene.
