Tsatas is contracted until the end of 2026, but I guess there is still a chance he could request a trade. Just hope he can have a good pre season next year then he should be ready to cement a place in our best 22
With nothing to lose this week in the seniors, we need to definitely give Tsatas a game in the midfield and have a look at Hayes. These lads are our future.
im keen to see more of jobe shanahan, i would be looking to end stringers contract and get a younger player like jobe. But I would love to see Tsatas in this weekend, can rest shiel or parish as there is nothing on the line. Otherwise i agree that he should apply for a trade, i just hope bryan doesnt apply for a trade as well
"Nick Hind doesn't have the same energy at AFL level anymore..." have to disagree with this. As you said, he's done nothing wrong this year. Still one of our only players that has burst speed and can break lines. Two games mid year where he's likely to poll brownlow votes. He's was arguably in the best form of his career. Another baffling decision in list selection, there has to be more to it because he certainly wasn't out of form and was one of the few players out there who seemed completely discontent with losing and never let his head down (Caldwell Merrett and Lav in my opinion... although Lav lacks the skill)
@@everythingessendon548 but not breaking into our team doesn't reflect form or ability. Perkins, Menzie, Wright, Cox, Weids - just to name a few have had horrid stretches of form and stay in. Players like Setterfield and Hind don't do much wrong but get dropped. On the other hand I understand Hindy being delisted if they're not playing him and he doesn't fit out age demographic anymore. But it's rough to say he lost form after the bye. He was at the very least serviceable compared to Perkins Menzie Cox etc. Also far more versatile than those guys. Should have still been playing when we were finals contenders.
He has one more year on his contract to prove himself, he is yet to really find a role in the team, I hope next year we see him nail down one position and try and push for the senior side.
He is that tough inside player that we actually really need. Someone to get into the contest and fight for the ball at ground level, watching the VFL he will generally be on the ground handballing out of a contest (hence his kicking is a little underdeveloped). The current AFL side all just stand back and wait for someone to feed to ball to them which is why we turn over so easily. it just we just play Tsatas in the wrong position in AFL level
Man Peter Wright why is he so bad in the AFL but he’s so good in VFL man why did we recruit such a weird player and literally his prime was 2022 with him being the leading goal kicker in 2022 for the dons and the best and fairest for 2022 to but now he plays like he’s 52 years old man
confidence is a hard thing, he feels confident and dominant in the VFL against smaller bodies and softer contests i guess. but in AFL he is tentative and almost scared, not sure if the monster suspension affected him but he has never been the same after his shoulder injury
If Tsatas leaves the season after mass left and then he stars for another team playing inside mid, i might just lose my mind completely 🥴
Watch it happen
There is no way we let anyone else pick him up
I would trade him, his had two years and we can’t develop him.

Jobe Shanahan looks fantastic!

Had a great run of form before the bye, but lost his touch shortly after and hasn't been able to break into that AFL team since.

Can you make a video on who you think we should go for trade/draft period and also who we should delist or trade away

Can see tsatas going to richmond with blake carasella
He is practically his coach at this point.
Did kako not play?
Injured. Ankle surgery. Syndemosis
Kako has a small ankle injury so unfortunately wasn't able to play for our VFL team.
we better have a change in personal in the back 6 like kelly and laverde need to go and play suburban footy for some club not essendon

If Tsatas can't kick, why did they recruit him ?
Not a great kick but working hard on it, his strengths are inside the contest, which is why playing him on a wing in the AFL doesn't work.
