I would say, if you want to match the exact shade of gray, not likely. Black, in most paints, is a shade of green, blue or brown that is SO dark and saturated that it appears black. If you add white to it, all of the underlying hues in that color become obvious, and without an understanding of at least a little color theory, it is very easy to become frustrated by your gray being the same tone, but not the same temperature and hue and thus, not right. Speaking from experience. 👋😄
not to be that guy, but no one would watch that. half the satisfactory value of the video is that they make sense of the absolute chaos of color they start with - they even started with an incredibly neon color despite the end product needing to be completely gray.

thats because color is relative! the same color could look completely different depending on its surrounding colors.

How long does this usually take?
Easier things maybe a few minutes and harder things possibly 10 minutes and for the insanely hard things maybe up to 40 minutes

Easier said than done. Color matching needs precise adjustment. You'll be struggling to do it with only 3 color
