I would have given up after 15- 20 minutes, figuring it wasnt going to work, but, will try to hang in there. Have been doing it app. a half hour, and even though I get the colors, I never get beyond that. After about 30 seconds it automatically turns off. but, will keep working at it. Will let you know if I ever get it back on. I hope it works, cause the computer place says I need an new mother board that will cost $200.00. I cant afford that.

8 time beep, laptop on and press hold D button screen diagnostic random color but when complete this process and again automatically restart then again going on 8 time beep
well you need a 2nd montior with hdmi in it then turn on your laptop and off until you get a image on your laptop then close the lid and you can use it on the othe rmontior
Try to heat up your GPU. While its hot push the chips down with a screw driver handle, then apply a super glue around the chips Lastly cross your fingers Hope this works for you guys
This was just a temporary fix. It's something to do with the GPU. Unfortunately if it doesn't work you need a new laptop or send your current one away to be fixed.
For some odd reason it will cycle through the colors, and will then start beeping again. Can someone please tell me why it keeps beeping after the cycle of colors?
It took me a long time and sometimes short time. However this is a temporary fix, if it works at all. Judge your machine, sometimes it is time to either start opening up and clean the gpu or buy a new machine. After this video I used my laptop for another 3 weeks before it stopped working completely. At the end I bought a new PC.
I tried this and it didn’t work on my dell Inspiron laptop 3552 I have to now replace the lcd cable completely and the cmos battery I ended up buying a new laptop
