I love it! I'm currently considering getting partial highlights similar to hers. I haven't died my hair in years bc i have been hesitant, but might just try something like this. Do you have any tips on preventing damage w coloured hair?
My only tip is go to a good stylist ❤. Someone that's experienced with this color will know how to protect your hair during the process xoxo.
And do it! You'll love it! Hair Color and bleaching doesn't have to be damaging. My hair is naturally black and is super blonde and super healthy 😘

This might be a stupid question..... If the longer it sits the lighter the hair becomes, how do you determine the time from the very first section? Like the very first one you do sits while finishing the rest of the entire hair, how does that first section not become extremely more lighter compared the pieces you ended with? (I hope this makes sense 🤦🏽♀️)
Yes it makes total sense. You start with a lower developer and increase the developer as you go. For example your first section can be a 10vol, then maybe half 10vol and half 20vol for the next section, then 20 vol for the last section etc,

Melis Professionals don’t use boxed dye. They don’t use specific “colors.” They use a lightening solution, which is dependent on the client’s hair color and texture, to lighten the hair and then tone it to achieve the desired color.
Melis She also mentions what level lightener she used.

Oh yes there will be someone for sure! there are many great hairstylists out there. If you show them the video for your hair inspiration, they should be able to do something like it!💕

Went to a hair salon yesterday. Asked them for brown highlights, they gave me blond ones instead..pffff
ya that's not the same 😅. You should go back and request them to darken it. Its an easy fix! People should always walk out with what they asked for!
