Interesting video. Would have been nicer for you to have referred to the cps rather than some of those other resin numbers you used. You must get the resins really cheap for the amount you used on this crack...or...a high dollar price tag goes along with this repair to make up the cost of resins being used.
Hi, I tried to make a Bullseye on my windshield, but the crack spreads. However, the spread crack can not inject the resin because there is no gap. What should I do? How can I inject resin inside?
@@donalynbaguey4068 man, I ended up replace the windshield. I also went to windshield fix shop and got repaired as this video do and It seemed like working well in the beginning but as time goes by the crack started spreading again. My recommendation is just replace your windshield if you have a crack on your windshield. Don't waste your money with this video. It'll work, if you do perfect, however it's gonna be temporary. I paid like $250 for windshield replacement btw.
Ihave a 5 inch crack/13cm it seems my country wont repair any cracks over 4cm or cracks near the edge of the windscreen. I dont have the money to buy these tools, but tell me if i prepped heated and cleaned the surface then carefully squeezed the resin into the crack then followed the rest of the steps eg uv would this work
No, resins of low viscosity do not. The resin has to be a structural adhesive that can overcome the surface tension. Theses resin have to be injected under pressure with the crack pried open.
Thanks for your comments Jay, As the title says it is a difficult repair which requires more tools and the proper resins in order to restore 100% of the windshield's strength. Ultra Bond is the only process that is unbreakable and restores to over 100% of new glass strength - see the lab tests and real world performance photographs on our website. This repair is for an experienced Ultra Bond professional.
Ultra Bond Windshield Repair I have a bullseye that is starting to spread. I have put clear nail polish on it to stop the spread. My question is: What would be the best cleaner to use before I apply the resin? Can I use lacquer thinner? I have found lacquer to be an excellent cleaner and was wondering if it can be used on the glass before I attempt the repair. Thanks!
...and how long did this repair last for?
We give a full money back guarantee. We assume it is still holding.

This can happen sometimes if the windshield is too hot, it's an aftermarket windshield or you topped the needle too hard. Practice makes perfect.
