messer is back, if you don't know him, he was one of the major reasons why i created this tutorial channel for war thunder players, and this is his youtube channel ruclips.net/channel/UC4CMQAxmWBi9wigqmMsTLyQ link
@nitromeano Yeah that happened to me too. There was enemy bomber at 5000m and tempest at 2500m just hundreds of metres above me. Guess which marker the game showed. I seriously considered turning the markers off.
I remember when I fist started war thunder, there werent any youtubers doing this Flight School 101 type of videos like you are. This is great help for new pilots, keep it up!
First thing you mention is "I notice hes slower than I am" HOW!? Is that judgement of speed/energy a learned skill or just awareness you've developed through experience?
If you're going into a merge while diving, while the enemy is climbing to merge, the one who's diving usually has a much higher speed. You can assume then that you're in the speed advantage.
Nice video man! Thanks for letting me know Messer is back! I was figuring if anything, the FW FM buffs would bring him back! + with the 20mm working, it was a shoe in! So, you been flying this one a lot, is it your favorite plane atm? I would guess it has a better power to weight ratio than the B. I can't remember how much lower of a BR it has. But you make it look amazing! I have that one spaded, I haven't spaded the canon bearcat yet, so i wouldn't really know.
Hey green you do in amazing job on your videos I watch them daily and there very informative and i was wondering if you would do a series on the Fw 190 D-9 would love to see your techniques and strategy in it
@green fury do you play heavy fighters as well? If so could you do a tutorial for bf110? and also more vids on the yaks would be appreciated. Thank you
Hey green, what should the G-14 have done? Turn fighting wasn't an option, but the bearcat is also faster, climbs just as well, and accelerates like a monster.
About 3 weeks ago i started grinding US tech tree from start with the goal of getting F4U-1A, F4U-1C f4U-4B and F8F-1B. I extremely enjoyed all corsairs with their speed, flaps, controllability at high speed and amazing armament (AN-M2, AN-M3), even though their climb isn't so great. Finally, yesterday i played for the first time in F8F-1B with very big hopes of it being some kind of a mix between La-9 and F4U-4B. I roughly mean by this a faster, less maneuverable, better climbing, and better performing at high alt La-9 with different, wing mounted guns. Unfortunately i'm a bit disappointed. Extreme overheat even with 100% throttle not to mention WEP, and very strong stiffening of rudder and elevator above 600kph made me very sad. Then i've read on forums that those things are a result of 1.79 FM change that you described rightly as nerf. When i compare my stock F8F-1B to stock La-9 second one is so much better at almost everything :( Also F4U-4B seems to be much better than F8F-1B too, despite worse turn time and climb. Do you use 100% radiators? I ask because i noticed that you don't overheat with WEP. And most importantly, does spading F8F change those two issues that i spotted? Everything in F8F-1B is very good, like turn, super strong flaps, climb, and guns even through not upgraded. Sadly about 70% of battles are against japanese jets. (R2Y2 + kikka = POWER) Btw F4U-1A is the same plane as F4U-1D, just 1 Br lower, and it's great! I really enjoy your videos, they are tightly packed with great tactics and nice battles.
we can, adam514 and i used to fly out togeather all the time, latly its been hard because hes in the US time and im in Australian time, but yeah we will
Finally! I always feel like the only fool that can maneuvre his plane well enough to get on enemy six in difficult situations but then always f*** up with my aim. But I`m not! *happy now* ;)
I never know what to expect from some planes. I see F8F and I think: Is it like F4U? Aw man just don't let it be a jet. I guess I will learn with many mistakes I make. Just learning characteristics of every plane in the game defeats the purpose of gaming for me.
Speed is always more important than altitude. That being said altitude can be traded for speed. However...never go into a dogfight without speed.....and learn how to control your plane to effectively preserve as much of that speed as possible.
Calca Calacanul overheating has alot to do with airspeed. Not enough and you won't cool properly. If it's still a problem...back off your pitch to around 85 or 90 percent. From there modulate your radiator to until your heat is under control
3:43 Hey, only because you have shit aim you don't have to be modest and call yourself average, you have better game sense and dogfighting skills in this game than anyone I know. :p

Everytime i'm doing good in a 1v1 some other dude shows up and kills me.......
I'm always looking around while im fighting 1v1, and im also looking at my radar
and then gaijin decides to fuck you up and only show their markers when they're already 400m on you while you're at 100kph :(

@@nitromeano it's your problem of having tunnel vision
Don't tunnel vision someone make sure to look around you that's it

Green Fury in nutshell:
- aiming skills 5/10
- plane control 10/10
- brain 11/10
:D
Did you know that F8F have automatic flaps?
They will go in if you overspeed and you cant deploy them if you have too much speed.
First thing you mention is "I notice hes slower than I am" HOW!? Is that judgement of speed/energy a learned skill or just awareness you've developed through experience?
yeah i developed it through experience, better players can use this as an advantage when they are heading on enemies, and i haven't developed it yet

@@aerohydra3849 ^^^^^ Very important and factual

will do them later mate, just doing few things to get a better a comp right now
This is very relatable.

"Everything in F8F-1B is very good" I meant everything OTHER THAN THOSE 2 THINGS is very good
Nice vid as always. Keep it going!
I'm learning a lot thanks to you
you are flying a cannon bearcat, that is the most important thing.
Hi Fury, could you and Messersmitty (or Adams514) make a video together?
we can, adam514 and i used to fly out togeather all the time, latly its been hard because hes in the US time and im in Australian time, but yeah we will
really looking foward to that!
Max Súarez Müller yeah Green Fury! I wanna see it!!!!
Aim.exe still not found :-)

all good mate, i did the same when i started
Biggest problem of many players is fact they not climbing.
How much time you learn how to use the keyboard manovers?
Is this BattleToads?
3:45 “I’m an average player”

Your statistics say otherwise... excellent player XD
So always use speed when using American planes? Does that mean that speed is more important than altitude?
you need both, speed more so than altitude. just don't go on the deck and be fast, be at a reasonable speed
Green Fury k dude. Thanks

Hey buddy, let's have a chat about your aim.
thumbs up Green !! when you get a chance send me a link to your discord server. Thanks
Nice usage of enemy mistakes.
What is messer adress i cant find it deng :-(
FIND IT I EM :-)))
ruclips.net/channel/UC4CMQAxmWBi9wigqmMsTLyQ here you go bro
Green Fury thanks bro :-)
Yo fury, can you give me a quick rundown on the mec for the bearcat?I find myself not being able to use wep in dogfights as it overheats instantly.

Rookie mistakes at tier 4? Come on.

Let me tell ya a joke
Green's aiming lol
xD
lol, lets not talk about this
Lol this is why i stopped using stealth and started using universal
Well stealth is great for your aim.
