I appreciate it.
You still live in Bahia? I´m coming this month and throughout the Carnaval season! I´m so excited! It will be a dream come true for me. doing my research watching your videos.
I might be wrong, but I think in every country you’ve gone to you always make a video of the local laundromat-which is extremely practical. I’m guessing you do it so others will know what it’s like and I appreciate that. Yo, those people were walking awfully close to your table😅
Yeah, I pretty much do the same thing in each country: gym, explore, interviews, and laundry😅.
Love these salvador Bahia series.
Glad you're enjoying them👍🏿
I want to visit there myself
Be careful in Itapua. After the Farol, things get sketchy fast. I myself would not be out alone at night in Itapua.
thank you for the video! I'd love to visit Salvador one day
Brazil looks good. The water is a beautiful deep blue
Thanks for sharing Sly
Nothing wrong with the bus it's cheap n good way to meet people
Cheers my brother

Thanks for the comment! Enjoy Mexico.
Great video Mr Sly. Thanks for sharing this informative information. Hope to arrive there this year.
Thanks. Very beautiful video of the city of Bahia. Brazil.
Que bom que vocês turistas, amam nossa Bahia!👏🏽
I have been trying to get to Salvador for years
thats true, when i was in Rio my card didnt work either- great video, im looking into going to Salvador soon!!
sou soteropolitano(quem nasce em salvador) obrigado por compartilhar suas experiências visitando a cidade, gostei bastante do vídeo e irei assistir os outros, espero que tenha gostado da cidade mesmo com as coisas negativas que existem S2
Looks really beautiful.
Another outstanding video
Thanks Anthony🙏🏿
Forofa is similar to the corn meal one would use to bake cornbread, baked loose instead mixing it into a batter. They usually sprinkle it over black beans and rice. For fans of southern cooking, it's like pinto beans with cornbread.
is this similar to Mandioca ? always learn to enjoy the local food , it`s part of the experience .
@@TimMaloneyNMactor Yes, coarsely grounded(manioc)
Ah ok. Thanks for the info. At first I didn't like it, but it does go well with beans.
Farofa is seasoned mandioca or yuca flour.
Show us the beach next time :) like the sand and view from the edge of the water
Thanks for your update. I have a travel business and I have been taking groups to Bahia for years but because of Covid I had to stop. Now I am looking to pick it back up again. Thats why I am doing a webinar for my clients next week to bring them up to speed with how safe or unsafe it is. My land operator who we have been doing together for 20 years will be part of it along with another brother goes back and forth there. I am glad to see your update and glad to see people are wearing their mask for the most part. Now brother we have to teach you some Portuguese. LOL Keep up the work.
Hey, brother, glad to read your comments. I am from southern California and I will be in Salvador da Bahia first time early this June. It is a purely cultural trip (the Yoruba and afro-Brazilian culture)
I would like to go on tour to cultural places in town. You can email me at Jacques.Ahouansou@yahoo.com and take it up from there.
Im from Salvador Bahia, Living in London UK atm but looking to move back to Salvador with my family!
Is it better then London?
@@Name-qh3cm like every country/city theres advantages and disadvantages everywhere.. Im only moving back because London is too expensive. I feel like me and my family are merely working to survive and not to live. In Brazil I could invest into real estate and just live off that which Im planning to do once ive got an offer on my 3 bedroom flat here. Once thats happened Im moving back.
Sly Thank you for the content and being informative and helpful. I’m taking a solo trip this whole summer and for my first month it’s in Brazil-landing In Salvador- do you have any solo traveling tips especially for exploring/traveling and living situations. Obrigado
Laundry service is expensive in Brazil (around $10 usd) but there isn't really a reason for it to be. The self-service machines are the best because they are the cheapest and fastest way to do laundry. I've seen them just about in every Brazilian city.
Great video. I'll be there on 3-30-22. I love you too
Glad to hear that and you'll enjoy it in Salvador-friendly people.
Thank you!!! Am from israel, we have city that remind me this place.. Whis you all the best! It was pleasure to watch your vlog!!! (:
I'm glad you're enjoying the vlogs...and thanks for the comment!

Good video should have recorded more. Never heard of that beach looks nice.
I love Salvador , i live here
Nice..Friendly people and lovely ladies👌🏿
Oooh that dish looks delicious!
It was!
Love ya vidz my brutha! Please, what area are you living in while there in Salvador??? Looks sooooo calm 👍🏾
should have went further down in Itapuã to show some live music action. They tell you guys Rio Vermelho is bohemiam place, but Itapuã is more
Show us the barracas at the beach Sky
Stay safe bro, can you do a video on which phone service to get. Cause it seems internet connection is a priority when traveling abroad. Thanks keep doing your thing ✌🏿ultra
He got Claro in one video with a passport the others required a CPF
Thanks Terry and I got Claro cell service because they only required a passport.
could you recommend a good money changer in salvador ? visiting there soon.. not sure if i just missed it in your video
There in 2 months
What camera are you using to record this video?
Homeboy at 4:12 was saying "bonito". R$111 (US$21) for lunch? Damn! It's been a long time since I was in Brazil but back when I was (when the Real was 2-3 to 1), that price would be for an upscale meal. Here in Colombia, I spend about US$3-4 per meal eating out.
Here's a classic song about Itapuã where you went: ruclips.net/video/CLOqNeCps20/видео.html
Ah ok. Thanks for the tip. Also, every beach in Brazil has a song😂
That food seemed to be delicious, dude.
It was tasty👌🏿
How much was that lunch? What's the name of the restaurant?
As always, I enjoyed the video.
Side note: This is the second time your card hasn't worked. Is it a USAA card?
Thanks B A and I have the Navy Federal card. My card doesn't work in many places I'm noticing, unfortunately.
@@slyslife Same with my USAA credit card. I'm thinking to go with a real travel card.
@@__BA__ Honestly, I think it's just a Brazil thing. My card worked well in every other country before this one 😅

I stayed in Salvador for eight months. Be careful with the bus. Not all routes are dangerous but you definitely have ones that are. Whole bus be getting robbed.
Vcs adoram falar mal de Salvador na internet. Salvador tem mais de 2500 ônibus e na média e menos de 0,005% são roubados. Ele está em local turístico e quando tem problemas nos ônibus, são em bairros longe, periféricos na BR
Will do👍🏿
Right there by my gym
Where the ladies at? Is there a place there like Cartagena or Medellin?
dude you get live in this channel more up I've been watching a couple of your stuff don't be too cheap dude your s*** is blowing up don't be too cheap
Wow they asked for a vaccine card? In Brasil? Lol. Was there for like 6 months and was never asked anywhere.
Yeah, they're doing it in many places. I'm in Rio now and they're doing the same.
🌐✈️🧑🏽💻✅️out👍🏾
Do you plan to go back in Colombia or is it too dangerous for now ?
I go back from time to time for a break, I just don't film it. And it's not too dangerous for me, yet.
Yo mate, be careful with the busses there, especially when you are handling a camera or something. You could easily be assaulted
Whats ladies like bro TJK
