We do not challenge people, we challenge their ideas. We do not argue just because we want an argument, we seek the ”truth”. Feelings are not valid arguments, facts are.

Nice Eric! Just in my words! As an ENTP I find myself doing just that. I seek the core and meaning not for myself but for others so they may find the truth.

In my experience both feelings and facts can be important, but in a debate scenario, only the facts are needed.

im an istp ,i went on a date once with an entp. he started arguing on things i said that were incorrect, as in just small issues with the technicality of my statements. he also agreed with things that i said that were correct. but somehow his arguing side was so prominent that it became annoying to my ears. even after i agreed i was wrong he wouldnt stop, which is such an annoying trait. he was wrong in a few things too, but i never argued or pointed them out because i was put off by his verbal spats. i needed my peace from usesless arguments. he was a good guy but jeez he needs to stop thinking that people are after him, is that why estps argue. they come off too sensitive and immature as well.

    I am a Heyoka INFJ
    These are good.
I lived with an ENTP for a while. I have lived with different personality types from all over the world. This wonderful gal was the only one where literally develope an eye twitch. I love her to death but she drove me crazy!!
She was the ultimate micromanager… even getting upset if I changed the radio station.
We came at life from such a different place.
    I am a book worm.
I always am reading a book.
There was time when I had gotten to the climax of a a book and it was an act of such sacrificial caring that I burst into tears.
She mocked me. She was going “she’s doing it! She’s doing it!” And started… to laugh! She said that that was her daughter would do.
I have never felt so invalidated in my life!
I really tried to make it work. They were the ones who said we could but she was the ultimate micromanager. Her idea of me making it work was to be like her!
I so saw her qualities. Sadly, me being an INFJ.. I felt like she never saw mine. I am a problem solver. She never the value of my solves. I have had people come to me with problems because they know that about me. I have actually problems that were created over years ago but nobody thought there was a solution. I solved.
Because we so different, I don’t know if ENTP s can appreciate INFJs. Other groups do.

You know you are ENTP when you can’t watch the video without being distracted 3 times😂
The video is really accurate. It sucks when you have a lot of ideas, but no one to deliver them for you. Because I struggle sticking with one....
I decided to write a blog once, created about 11 posts in a week, and then just forgot about it, cuz decided to start theater course😅 I still have them unpublished and listed ideas for about 10 more posts...
But on the other hand, thanks to that personality, I have a pretty astonishing career for a 22 y.o. and a small personal business

I feel you man I’m a 22 yr old ENTP as well. I’ve had so many creative endeavors that were all pretty successful but I stop pushing it after about a year bc something new grabs my interest. I started off doing music and had solid success shot a bunch of music videos dropped a debut album, recorded a whole second album (which I still haven’t dropped a year plus later lol). I switched from music to doing content creation and interviewing people in my area to now I do photography 😂😂. All ideas which have generated me income or some type of admiration but then I just switch fields. Rn I’m working on sticking to one thing at a time I don’t want to just float from hobby to hobby my whole life.
Outside of my creative endeavors I have a solid solar sales career making good money for a 22 yr old. So shout out to you my man. We are definitely kindred spirits. Wishing you all the best. Would love to hear an update on your endeavors when you see this

Every each point is so accurate (ENTP). I think all of these points are what makes ENTP, an ENTP. So should I fix it just to fit to the norm? Or find a lifestyle that can create synergy with this double edged sword personality..

Thank you, this is a great question! We always advocate to work on your weaknesses to reach personality growth. For example let's take one of the biggest weaknesses of an ENTP - Procrastination.
How to deal with it? Let's bullet point how to overcome it:
      - Set deadlines for yourself. Make a schedule for each work that includes specific due dates. Use visual clues to remind yourself: Make a note in your calendar, add items to your to-do list, or attach a sticky note on your computer screen to remind you.
-Make a request for assistance if you have problems in completing your task. Request a review of your work from a trustworthy colleague. Knowing they'll be expecting it can motivate you to get going.
-Make a mental shift. Don't label yourself as a procrastinator. Consider yourself - and how you talk about yourself with others - as a doer.
We hope these tips will be helpful,
      Good luck!

It is a very real and serious disorder that needs addressing and treating if you’re to have a normal life.

I believe this video has significantly less traffic than similar videos because it's based on the weaknesses. It is not because we have a negative emotional reaction to hearing such things, quite literally the opposite of that; we are bored by them. (Well I made it halfway through fellas, and I applaud anyone who wants to endure this as you are doing some thorough work on yourself, but c'mon jack, we already know there are no surprises here. It's the same shit they've been telling you your whole life.)

@@PsychologyRefresh in summary, we are "that guy".
Pretty much all you need to know, unless you're someone who is into list and all the details, so you're also starting in a hole since that's not really our thing... (I mean Letterman had the top 10 list right? so that was great... I guess as long as it's entertaining...)

*I know females can be ENTP too. In the legends of old, whispered long long ago. Someday I even hope to find one of them. Unfortunately, my observations are specific to my own experience. I can't say with absolute certainty whether it makes you "that lady" or "that person"; I don't have full confidence I can convert the recipe over without something potentially being lost in translation. But that guy for sure.
