I also do that. I spend hours and hours researching and documenting my favourite obscure ongoing topics and I can never share them with others because nobody else cares.
I have a whole archive in my head for my favourite topics, political or otherwise and I’m just keeping them in storage until I meet someone who enjoys the things I do. I am an ENTP btw
My all-time favorite ENTPs are Hans Lander (just watch the opening scene of Inglorious Basterds; a lot can be said about it, but there are entire videos on that topic) and Yae Miko (Genshin impact). Both are appealing. The prior is polite and at times charming, and the latter is charismatic, but both clearly lack empathy and it shines through making them creepy. The latter can be borderline flirtatious in one moment and threatening in the next without becoming louder or looking angry. She also uses her quick wit to justify her questionable actions and talk people into doing her bidding. There are two more characters I really like that are often classed as ENTP, though I'm not 100% positive on that: Kurumi Tokisaki (Date a Live): she's many weebs waifu despite being a homicidal maniac responsible for thousands of deaths! She might also be classed ESTP or ENFP. Echidna the Witch of Greed (Re Zero): she could be an INTP starved for attention (being locked up for centuries after all). It's been debated if she's a complex character, or if she plays different characters in order to manipulate others.
@@blurrysmokes6216 He could be. Unlike the other characters though he doesn't give off this air of mystery. He appears to be more of I do whatever the F I want type without any ulterior motives.
Agatha Heart is actually exactly what ENTPs ate like. Personality wise. Spontaneous, self absorbed, happygolucky, exaggerated emotions, etc... She hits it all. But the person she pretended to be was ESFJ. Which is surprisingly consistent with an ENTP's acting.
Another character, who I personally think and is definitely 100% a ENTP is "Handsome Jack!" and yes I know most people would said I wrong, but just because most people would disagree on me in Personality Database, doesn't always mean the majority are correct!
Honestly (as an ENTP), I was super curious about this video because in media, most ENTP characters I love and are the best characters. They have so much charisma and charm.
Cuz most of us are sapiosexuals (we need to debate with someone) but also we do not want a partner who's got less charisma than us. Why? Cuz at some point we'd love to boast with everything we have in front of others (especially if you are a turbulent ENTP). So basically we want ourselves :')
Me encantan los entp 7w8 y 9w8, quiero decir son una de las personalidades que más me gustan, sacan lo mejor de mi y en otras personas lo he visto también, creo que son personas maravillosas :3
Agatha killed all the other witches so she is evil since the min she did that, the cat thing is just a plus, she wanted the power for herself and not for just stopping Wanda and being a hero, yeah I think her character must have been more developed but it was logical tho
I've seen Wandavision awhile ago so i might've forgotten a few details about Agatha's personality. I remember she was kind of concerned that Wanda was too young and would not know how to use the power properly. MAybe she wanted it for herself but wouldn't it be better if Agatha had it? She seems more mentally stable than Wanda and way more experenced. And she did kill the other witches but i gotta say in my girl's defence - they were the ones who tried to kill her in the first place. Other tha that, I agree, thanks for pointing it out
@@MarygotaPlan Agatha was obsessed with the power for herself So that is not that mentally stable tho, I mean both were unstable of course, but I don’t think Agatha should have had the power I mean yeah she has more experienced but Wanda gave her almost all her power and was way smarter than Agatha w a min part of the power, but in real life i think experience is better than being smart and it’s a dmn Disney serie where Wanda is the main character so ofc something like that would happen but I get your point tho.
Honestly, i dont think being a super hero is related to Fe LMAO. Fe is about social harmony. This can actually make ppl irl not stand up for the right thing to maintain social harmony. In fact, Fi people are the kind of ppl that would stand up for the right thing even if everyone/society deem it societally immoral.
I beg to differ, Fi users can be villains as well, what guarantees you that their beliefs that they stick too aren't wrong? Both Fe and Fi can go very wrong depending on whether the society or one's beliefs are good or not.
@@justmebeingmyself2248Yeah, but the point is, an Fi villain would have values the rest of society disagrees with. An Fe villain would have values based on what others agree with and would be working to maintain the status quo
Hi! I could've done segments on them as well, but in that case the vid would've been probably like 18 minutes long and thats a little too much for me lmao. They are absolutely ENTPs though, you are right
I agree more with these examples than with the ENTPs creating things, which is more a Se or Te ability. That's why I think that a real life ENTP Tony Stark would be a lot less creator of things than in the films, of he would need a bunch of people doing things for him. We ENTPs can be workaholics like House, or Tyron when he is more healthy. In my case I give lessons and I work attending customers, but I'm not good in manually creations. None of my cognitive functions make me good for that, but I can have great ideas for creating, but I would need a Te or Se user for the implementation.
I think that better examples are Tyrion Lannister, Jack Sparrow or Satoru Gojo than your examples of ENTPs creating things, which is more a Se or Te ability or need. That's why I think that a real life ENTP Tony Stark would be a lot less creator of things than in the films, or he would need a bunch of people doing things for him to finish the projects when the final idea is reached, ENTPs are really bad for implementation. We ENTPs can be workaholics like House, or Tyron when he is more healthy. In my case I give lessons and I work attending customers and I get workaholic, but I'm not good in manually creations. None of my cognitive functions make me good for that, but I can have great ideas for creating, but I would need a Te or Se user for the implementation. Whereas ENFPs are way better creating things in the real world with their tertiary Te than the ENTPs.
Just a funny thing, in one of the new spiderman movies tony stark did have a group of people carrying out ideas. Yes it's a poke poke at real life exploitative billionaires but also links back at you. :p
The only problem with your analysis of the ENTP character is that it doesn’t square with the concept driven Dominant Extroverted Intuition nature of ENTPs like Socrates. None of the characters you list deal with the metaphysical or philosophical questioning of a material or divine motive. The NeTi combination is ardently searching for the underlying principles of power, not their applications. Like all prophets, ENTPs listen to the still small voices of their dim Ne asking “What’s wrong with this picture?” Then like Socrates, Jesus, Diogenes or Hamlet they shake the lapels of every authority looking for an honest agnostic or a hypocritical theist. Like Sherlock Holmes it is the thrill of the chase, not the solution that motivates an obsession with the truth. These characters will destroy themselves in pursuit of a rational Ti ordering of the universe, starting with the motive. ENTPs care about the passion of the why and ignore the how and when. These characters you’ve cited are all pragmatic problem solvers. They create practice solutions and material devices. ESTPs need to touch the products of their imaginations, so they create their Frankenstein. The Fe component is not essential, just a preferred outcome to the rudeness exhibited by in your face moral seeking E NTPs. They don’t waste time perfecting, they just yell “Next!”
I think that there's a bit more to say about Dr. House. I do agree with you that ENTP makes sense, but he doesn't appear to be extroverted, but he clearly acts differently from an INTP. It's a very similar case with the mad scientist Rick Sanchez. On the surface, he appears to be an INTJ, but he has actually more in common with an ENTP, and yet he seems to hate people... I'd say that both have in common that they are broken ENTPs. On a similar note, Sherlock from Elementary is a curious case as well. He seems to be an INTP, but his social network is freaking huge. He also has a lot of 6ual contacts, but he remains borderline antisocial and misanthropic. PS: that Ne Ti Fe Si confuses me. 1) as you've said S, F are inferior functions. Thus, shouldn't ENTP be defined by E N T P? 2) Also, I'm aware that N, T can be introverted or extroverted, but what does this mean for the 16 personalities. What would be an ENTP with extroverted thinking?
In terms of the four letters, yes it doesn't make much sense, although if we go in-depth with this theory, it is suggesting to use cognitive functions. I have an example of a somewhat sociable INTP and very asocial ENTP in my close circle of friends. ENTP with extraverted thinking would not be an ENTP. If we are talking about second slot Te types - those are INTJ and ISTJ. But even though this theory seems to work very well with even real people, i mostly concentrate on using it in character creation. At the end of the day, this is just another theory you can use to type OCs and characters more efficiently. Everyone including the official sources and myself recommend learning the cognitive functions, but it is up to you to use just the four letters. Although, probably 80% of all typings wouldn't make much sense to you if that's what you'll gonna go with
@@MarygotaPlan I'm still fairly new to this and struggle to understand it. Do you have any recommendations for further reading? Since you've mentioned the enagram theory before, that's something I understand even less. What I've found on the topic was an entire thesis and not a summary to be found... PS: asocial ENTP sounds quite a bit like a psychopath...
I'm an ENTP and it makes sense to me that these characters are ENTP's... for whatever value that has! What you said about them not seeming very extroverted also fits with my experience. I notice that I'm always lead by my interest and I then forget everything else (inferior Si). I then disappear into Ti land for long stretches, it's only when I come out and start bouncing ideas off people that my charisma comes out. There's something people find charming about someone genuinely wanting to know your view of something with only the agenda of trying to understand it. I see this in house, the retreat to calculate, followed by intense exploration with/of other people, he's just more intense with it, the Ti drive for the truth outranking the Fe empathy. Rick Sanchez feels very similar to this too. Both seem to disregard their Fe for their Ti, but you still suspect that it bothers them to do this, even if they hide it. They both need to show everyone they are right, so that the feelings they've hurt seem justified. Just realised you said that the Ne Ti Fe Si confuses you and I've just used it loads... Briefly: Ne (Extroverted iNtuition): Loves the potential of ideas and concepts, happy exploring lots of options. Ti (Intoverted Thinking): Develops an internal standard/framework of logic to help determine what is the truth. Fe (Extroverted Feeling): Cares how the vibe is for people in their team; empathises. Si (Intoverted Sensing): Organises and structures the real world around them, to simplify and make easier to navigate.
@@mattelt1 I think I understand the cycle within you, but I still fail to grasp the underlying concept of the NTFS. Could you please explain it to me, or point me into the right direction? For me it's 1) Why N, T, F, S when it's ENTP? BTW, the ENTP-types I've seen were quite lacking in the F and S department... (I really mean scoring high in the Hare's test, at least if they would actually answer honestly) 2) What determines which of the letters is introverted or extroverted, especially since the ENTP is defined as extroverted as a whole.
ENTPs are all about chaos, not necessarily about evil (as Good and Evil is not attributed to anyone Archetype.) We are Children of Loki (although not the god awful Marvel version, I'm talking about the real mythical Norse prankster god.) Yes, we love mischief, gallow humour and nihilism, which are necessary release valves when society gets too cloggged with stuffy seriousness. If life is comedy and tragedy and we perch on the comedy side (thankfully).

I would absolutely love your take on enfj ... I feel misrepresented by my type ngl maybee it's just the annoying af stereotype or the fact that I'm a 7w6 instead of the typical 2
Hmm. You know, gotta say that I also consider myself to be a werid combination of MBTI type and Enneargam types. The classic typing for my MBTI would usually be 8w7 or 3w2 and that is kinda far from the Enneargram type I consider myself to be. So i feel you mate. I Also see nothing wrong with being an 7w6 ENFJ, I can totally see how it can match together.
I feel you, I also hate INFJs stupid stereotypes, I even become hesitant when telling someone that I am one fearing they might treat me as the *too kind self sacrificial wise with messiah complex* type, like no I am not, could be in my case it's because I am 5w6, not the most common, and this is what you led to my confusion with being an INTJ.
im an entp and im watching this just so i can insure that my aroace azz is attractive enough thank u for confirming my thoughts and speculations. ILYYY
Enneagramm is all about your main fears and goals - it has nothing to do with which cognitive functions you use. There is some corelation for sure but pretty much any match is possible. It's just that an ENTP 4w5 is a rare combination compared to, for example, an ENTP 7w8. But both are possible
Tony Stark is a depressed INTP. There is no reason he could be confused as an ENTP. ENTPs will fake being happy until they break. And when they break, they are silent as hell.
Quick question: How can you tell the difference between entp and intp? I'm trying to type a friend of mine and it's pretty difficult since she shows strong Ti and Ne. Fe and Si are pretty difficult though. I wouldn't say she necessarily struggles with empathy, I'm pretty sure she just struggles with social cues, understanding people, and really just that in general. But I also know she tends to have a pretty messy room and neglect her own health in certain ways. Intp and entp both make sense for her. She's definetely introverted, but not in an annoyed way, but in an oblivious way. She definetely shows Ne and Ti and I'd say they both balance each other out in quantity. The reason this is so difficult it because of how well her and my enfp sisters Ne vibe with each other. Intps and entps, help:')
It is very common to have chcracters that are something inetween of two types (usually introverted and extraverder variants of the same type) and you are talking about a real life person. Of course you friend can be someone inbetween. But trying know if someone is an ENTP or INTP i'd look at their Fe. If she is an ENTP - the third slot Fe will make her charming and charismatic. ENTPs are usually more concerned about how they present themselves, and INTPs - not so much. If we are talking about the stereotypes - ENTP is yout lovable charismatic dork, while INTP low key gives off crazy scientist vibes.
I don't want to offend anyone but I disagree with 'in between' theory, so I'll share my experience as I'm an INTP and my sister is an ENTP. As mentioned before ENTP are way more charismatic than INTP, and they use their charm almost all the time, while INTP as I see it in myself will use my 'charisma' only in one to one situation, usually with my students. In other occassions I seem to block it on purpose. ENTP get familiar and friendly with strangers anytime EASILY, don't mind crowds of friends mixed with strangers they thrive on it. Being center of attention is sought for even when they tell a joke to their 2 or 4 friends, it's a source of fun and satisfaction. While for INTP all those things will come with some amount of anxiety or akwardness. Also, ENTP are cool even when being dorky, thanks to their charm, while INTP are akward and make ppl feel like the same.
@@MarygotaPlan yeah check him out sometime, altough be careful his backstory might be very triggering for some For me it was also a way of understanding how mental disorders can affect a characters persona!
There are two more characters I really like that are often classed as ENTP, though I'm not 100% positive on that:
Kurumi Tokisaki (Date a Live): she's many weebs waifu despite being a homicidal maniac responsible for thousands of deaths! She might also be classed ESTP or ENFP.
Echidna the Witch of Greed (Re Zero): she could be an INTP starved for attention (being locked up for centuries after all). It's been debated if she's a complex character, or if she plays different characters in order to manipulate others.
i think gojo satoru is the perfect resemblance of entp 7w8
Handsome jack is one hundred percent an entp
if i ever had any doubts abt being mistyped, i think you pretty much cleared them all up :> amazing video :D
100% ENTP Approved Wow, Great Show. I’m Subscribing.
Honestly (as an ENTP), I was super curious about this video because in media, most ENTP characters I love and are the best characters. They have so much charisma and charm.
I get it, althought I'm not an ENTP I get why people love them
This is great video. Thanks!
Glad to help out :D
entp here but my 8w ennagram makes it so that I like my shit decluttered and organized
Super cool thank you so muchhhhh UUUH that's an incredible workkk
No problem 😊
As an ENTP I am attracted to ENTPs and here to find out why (all I did was cringe)
Cuz most of us are sapiosexuals (we need to debate with someone) but also we do not want a partner who's got less charisma than us. Why? Cuz at some point we'd love to boast with everything we have in front of others (especially if you are a turbulent ENTP). So basically we want ourselves :')
whoa that editing was really cool, I also love your voice, really cool viedo!

@@MarygotaPlan I feel like Agatha was trying to manipulate Wanda when she said that lol
should I be concerned that the majority of them are villains?

Cant believe you didn`t put Jack Sparrow or Tyrion Lannister in your ENTP examples.
@@zerere_ I haven't seen that film, but I'm happy that he is now a better representation of an ENTP, even if it's with another intention. XD
Weeeeeeeeeeell, 16 personalities site is a hit or miss. They marked Ragnar, Odin, Dr. House and many other ENTPs as INTJ.
So... are we all ENTPs here?

@@FREAKOFNATURE-mb8oo I'll tell yall when we hit 1k subs. Untill then you are free to guess
Briefly:
Ne (Extroverted iNtuition): Loves the potential of ideas and concepts, happy exploring lots of options.
@@mattelt1 right on point king
@@mattelt1 I think I understand the cycle within you, but I still fail to grasp the underlying concept of the NTFS. Could you please explain it to me, or point me into the right direction?
For me it's
1) Why N, T, F, S when it's ENTP? BTW, the ENTP-types I've seen were quite lacking in the F and S department... (I really mean scoring high in the Hare's test, at least if they would actually answer honestly)
2) What determines which of the letters is introverted or extroverted, especially since the ENTP is defined as extroverted as a whole.

I can tell whether I'm Mr. Stark or Einstein
this made me realize how ENTP i really am. i'm ENTP 4w5 btw so i'm kinda like a mix of all the XNXP types
Enneagramm is all about your main fears and goals - it has nothing to do with which cognitive functions you use. There is some corelation for sure but pretty much any match is possible. It's just that an ENTP 4w5 is a rare combination compared to, for example, an ENTP 7w8. But both are possible
Gregory House is just another depressed INTP. Actually, most INTPs end up being depressed.
Tony Stark is a depressed INTP. There is no reason he could be confused as an ENTP. ENTPs will fake being happy until they break. And when they break, they are silent as hell.
rahh i love being attractive 😹
I get called Tony Stark all the time
sad that gojo isnt here
Quick question: How can you tell the difference between entp and intp?
@@MarygotaPlan ok but what if both of those describe you
@@gtfoffmyproperty then you are something in-between. It's fairly common, i dont know why people in the MBTI community dont talk about this more often
@@MarygotaPlan great, thank you
I don't want to offend anyone but I disagree with 'in between' theory, so I'll share my experience as I'm an INTP and my sister is an ENTP.
